  1. This is why we play the game, people like you, griefing is the golden light that shines on this game. This is a persistent world so you have to work your defences for all hours of the game. My crew made an ark server of 75 players shrink to 30 because we pirated and had an underwater base that just so happened to have an oxygen bubble in it. We griefed so hard and killed so many tames and creatures. Easily we killed over 50 dragons. This game is cruel, play something else, you decided to play a cruel game with real monsters.
  2. Breeding is much more complicated, I guess ill say a secret but. We made a super tall sky elevator and that helped with baby bears. Bringing them up super high actually cooled them off. our guild tamer spent 2 days on a baby bear. also no point in breeding unless you find a super bear.
  3. I play in a large guild, tons of boat pvp, tons of building/gathering. Game is fun but not for the feint of hart, a lot of people like to just mess around, even if you have the most organized guild. I don't think it's possible to control everyone or even keep tabs on what they are doing. Also it is too easy for someone to mess with the guild, inside the guild. I wished sailing was more of the focal point to this game but really just stockpiling resources and making a super defended base might just be the best meta right now. We have great captains and crews, we sink tons of ships and also do offline raids but it doesn't seem to be worth it. The enemy just tosses all they're gear on the ground anyways if you take a large lead, leaving nothing to the victors. Server stability makes sailing pretty unforgiving given the ghost ships can kill you if your sailing and DC. The game is in alpha, cool concept, but so much still needs fixed. Boat pvp meta is just players trying to swim into the front of the boat and plant Barrel bombs. So really it's not even worth while to go out and hit up someone. Motors are insane damage and are crippling Brigs in one shot. Chinese are selling Galleons for real cash. Small stone pillars have destroyed ships, even if it is our ally's pillar. driving into it instagibs your ship. Breeding is far too difficult and there is no way to see animal stats prior to full tame, Ark you could check animal stats as they were unconscious and get a nice breeding animal. Here it's just tame tame tame... This game needs too many quality of life fixes. However with a few more uplifting ideas: Add more animals for those who love taming for they're guild or tribe. Bring back animal bases. some swim tames, don't add flying tames. Make cooking more worthwhile for those who like to supply the guild with nice buffs. Make exploration more worthwhile, instead of blueprints add more gold, guns, buffs, skins. Add boat skins: Chinese, Viking, Nord. Add a player slave system. Chat tabs, big alliances just can't read chats. Map is unreadable in large alliances. Have ships shoot a huge grappling hook that fits inside the cannon to just anchor to other ships. Have players climb over/Un hitch anchor. Gold needs to have much more status instead of buying resources, There needs to be a gold leaderboard because player count and territory doesn't tell much. Add bounties for killing certain players. Neutral hubs, Animal trades. Deeper and more complex skill trees, max level can mostly fill all you need, also 3-4 skill trees are useless. (punching, shield, twohand) useless vs naked fire arrow. Atlas is in it's most important phase right now.
  4. Why nerf pistols when the reload takes days. Make the game fun and reduce the reload at least, bring the fun back by just letting people shoot more, that simple, let some people tech into a gunslinger build. Fire arrow has been meta since launch and it's the only thing that can still kill anything. I put 20 shots of my carbine on a alpha snake and it didn't die. this game is hilarious for PVP and PVE is probably a joke too. Have fun reloading two pistols, they don't even realize they are reloaded sometimes too. Add a skill to shoot a couple more times it is so bad right now.
  5. So yea, we had a baby bear but, couldn't figure out what the darn symbol was above it, so didn't know what it needed. we are thinking it was too warm and had to move it to a colder area but unsure if that's the cause so it died. it looked like a pretty dumb symbol.
  6. neat idea yea, but the bottle should take a bit of time to get or just have 1 bottle only per player.

  8. Claims should be much larger and have more impact if there is upkeep to hold them. Large guilds just wont be able to claim an island. But also small crews do need a place to settle. Limit guilds to a certain amount of claims per member count. then member count guilds need to pay gold per members. This way big organized guilds can make it work, but also small crews can have a place. China is taking huge advantage of claims, just naked rafting and spamming them.
  9. yea it's nuts. losing ships to alpha tigers, it's a scratch post but... yea...
  10. good idea, should have unlimited storage for maps. maybe even make them last longer since they are stowed away.
  11. I could see steam boilers for different ship types. Like cargo or carrier. but sails should still be great for the effort involved.
  12. Giant whirlpools like this that damage but port you a large distance random 1/5 spots. rotating. Super windy/rainy, making insanely big waves. Blistering Heat as currently there is super cold. also add scurvy to those who are on sea too much. Random floating icebergs, then rocks to crash into not shown on map. Giant Turtles that move slowly and can build on somewhat, but then go underwater. Wind buffs that only you can see if you have Captain skill. giant water caves with unique resources/monsters to tame. Small scale NPC ships that do trade runs. being able to buy them out, steal crew, take over, or just kill for fun. Adding good or bad rep. Sailing should feel more adventurous and randomized, but rewarding like a Roguelike if you take a weak ship and make wrong choices. Never seen a trade ship yet.
