Be carefull when you logoff on a boat, after the new change about Sleeping body if the boat leave the server for another, when you relog you spawn on the Transit zone in the sea, IF you need to logoff on a boat with yoru compagny, Store All your stuff on a chest before. No replicate bodysleeping on PVE can be protect you again's greafing but not to loss everything if you are on a boat in a Journey

As the Title says we are going to have some Neutral Zones in D11 on Milton Enclave where we want people to build some pretty stuff. The Island itself got 2 different kinds of wood,Iron and a few Sap Trees, Fibers and 2 different kinds of Thatch aswell. We got Horses cows pigs Wolves Lions cobras etc. on the Island. As we are going to build a Town with Docks and stuff,we want ppl to build Houses and such. We dont want ugly Gate spam on our island aswell as Foundation spam. The taxes will remain at 30% atm due to the huge costs of building a Town. You will be able to use a public Taming pen,aswell as buy stuff from our Animal market and other stuff we are going to sell. As most companies dont provide anything for the taxes they raise we try to keep the areas save from alphas and going to build Turrets with crew to keep the island save. We got an animal Market where u can buy animals and there is space to Build your Shipyards and docks too. There will be a part of a Forest which is going to remain as it is,so wood and Saps and Iron will keep spawning around the Areas u will be able to build.

Shakron Gaming Fresh new Atlas server, so come join us in order to make it a community. We come from an established ark community looking to see how atlas goes. We currently have a 3x2 grid meaning we have a total of 6 servers up and running atm. We are currently running 3x rates but are set to change as where things need to be changed. Good news everyone! I'm here to officially announce the public opening of our gaming community's Atlas servers. Before I get into the details I'd like to talk about our community a bit. We have mostly been focused on Ark for several years so if you're looking for a home there, we have that as well. The Atlas servers are constructed from the ground up as a CUSTOM, fully functional, map by one of our members and we have a clustered set of Ark servers that includes Island, Aberration, Extinction and Ragnarok. Atlas consists of 9 servers in a 3x3 grid that is both PvE and PvP. While a majority of the current player base enjoys PvE, we wanted to make sure there is a place that they can go to sort things out and enjoy the PvP aspect of this amazing game. There are 6 PvE grids with 4 of them containing freeports to start your character in. 2 dedicated PvP servers and 1 dedicated boss server. Stones, merchant paths, bosses and ghost ship thus far have all been functioning normally and rates are of course raised from vanilla to give those who don't have the same time dedication the chance to enjoy Atlas/Ark fully. Now to focus on Atlas itself. We are running at a 4x gathering rate with slightly higher health to each node. Taming is currently set at 6x and player/tames stats are a bit boosted to help with dealing with alphas and the mythos giving creatures. For now we are still running at vanilla creature spawns since anything over level 28 can't gain experience until coding is done on the dev's side for post tame levels at higher ini difficulties. We're at a point where everything is feeling nice and balanced and has been a great deal of fun. Overall our staff for Atlas includes our community owners, 2 head admins, 2 normal admins and several admins on the ark side that are able to get ahold of us should something be needed from us in Atlas. We have a discord with tons of support and friendly and highly active players. At peak hours between Ark and Atlas we see 40+ people online and are looking for many more to join the family. Please stop players from placeing 1 and 1 foundations to claim whole lawless islands. Do anything! make it maybe breakable faster if it is not connected to more foundations or something. Ban players that do it? idk someone must have some good ideas? there is literally impossible to get started because of players claiming whole islands either with foundations or flags.....

My group has wanted to take an area for a while but the way claims work is weird. The company we are trying to take from hasn't had anyone on in over a week now and I can't take their area. It lets me put down my flag and says contested and doesn't give me a declaim timer. I have heard sleepers stop claims so I have picked a spot where no buildings are but they have a bunch of overlapping claims, is that causing a problem? https://gyazo.com/f675f747c3fddca5d261357383ff27c3

Hi all, Tried a few pvt servers and it was great. Things worked, communities are friendly and helpful and it's really a great option. The one thing that I am missing is a peaceful corner with no tigers, crocodiles, wolves, snakes and other things trying to kill me every 5 minutes. I understand it's a survival game and all but... When I come home from work I want to de-stress a bit, build a ship or two, make a nice terrace and have pets and maybe sail around and drop in on some neighbor and trade something and .. yeah... I am happy about pvps having all these great things as stone hunts, endgames and stuff but... I just want to not need to watch my back all the time :)) Is there any existing server / community who has this setup? I'd be happy to join.

Not sure why nobody from Grapeshot is giving any inputs on this or reassurance, however the issues plaguing PVE are still there. Ships are still being sunk on PVE by grievers by the simple fact they CAN extend any ladder on any ship (and the emergency ladder you can't get rid of, so even if you destroy all your ladders they can still extend the emergency ladder) and weight glitch the boat to sink. We have found a way to park our boats with the back to a gate/wall so they can't reach even the emergency ladder, but now they are kiting SOTDs on the ships. There has to be an urgent patch to FIX the ladders so ONLY company members can extend them. There needs to be a FIX for the anchored ships getting sunk in front of base by weight glitching them. A simple "don't allow ship to move while encumbered" change to keep this griefing from happening until a proper fix / change is in place is needed ASAP There needs to be offline raid protection on PVE as it was in ARK. You have 15 minutes of no protection after you log off. You have offline protection for as long as you are offline and if too much time passes, buildings / tames / flags need to decay / be allowed to be demolished as it was in ARK. These measures were effective on ARK. Why didn't we learn anything from that?

Derzeit bietet jeder Servergrid nur 10 Plätze, weshalb wir nur eine begrenzte Anzahl Spieler aufnehmen können. Pro Grid werden derzeit nur max. 6 Spieler zugelassen um die Durchfahrt über den Server für andere zu ermöglichen. After watching the downward spiral over the last few patches, it came to me that there's actually one simple underlying reason from a programming perspective why things are going wrong (from a social perspective, the argument can certainly be made that the developers aren't listening much to the playerbase, but that's its own issue), and how it could doom Atlas to fail as a result: They're trying to tune/balance the gameplay experience for both PvP and PvE equally, or more specifically, they're trying to apply PvP tuning/balancing to PvE. This doesn't work. This has never worked, throughout the entire history of gaming. This probably will never work. You can not tune PvP and PvE the same way. This. Does. Not. Work. PvP and PvE require, not need or want but straight-up require, distinct tuning and balance optimizations that are often incompatible with each other. What works for PvP will often break PvE and vice versa because the different play styles for each mandate mechanics optimizations that don't carry over to the other style, or cause collateral, knock-on, or counter-intuitive effects. This is why MMOs are built the way they are - whenever you see PvP implemented in a MMO that isn't "globally" PvP, it will always use a specific mechanics subsystem designed carefully around PvP that carries a similar "feel" as the PvE main system but doesn't work the same exact way. If you ever wondered why MMOs that are non-PvP often have specific PvP areas or arenas, this is why - those areas are operating under different rules with different optimization requirements. A solid example of this in Atlas is the fire arrow/bow nerfing. What was ostensibly intended to make fire arrows less of a mini-nuke in PvP when fighting other players made them next-to-useless in PvE against alphas where you actually need a lot of burst damage and a solid amount of DoT to successfully kill something with 10x your HP that can probably outrun you. By reducing the effective damage value of fire arrows and fiddling with bows to slow down their effective use, the balance change in PvP has effectively rendered fire arrows useless against alphas in PvE. The tuning that may help in one play style hurts a lot in the other. The changes to stone construction could be seen as another. Greatly increasing the cost but greatly reducing the defensive usefulness of stone structures may have helped some balance issues in PvP but essentially make stone structures uncraftable for large areas of the game world in PvE, and the lack of effective defense against aggressive wildlife means that PvE again takes it in the shorts by forcing players to build with materials the wildlife will (for some unfathomable reason) endlessly attack until they break through. Because the dev team is trying to treat PvP and PvE as the same for the sake of making life easier on themselves (as having two sets of parameters to deal with basically doubles the work required), they're damaging the playability of the PvE side a disproportionate amount by trying to use PvP-centric optimizations in PvE. You can't have it both ways. Pick a side and stick with it: either make Atlas all PvP or all PvE, alienating the other side and driving them away in the process, and build the game as appropriate, or try to shoot for the middle and alienate both sides through balance changes that may help one but will penalize the other, dooming the entire project to fail.
