Hi dear devs ! Those rocky small islands (see the screenshot) can only be seen by my character (and not by my company mates). When I try to climb on them I just cross the rocks and then I can see through the map (weird display). Cheers Selune

Someone claimed my small shipyard in my own claimed land. The claim has 4 of us inside and has not been claimed by anyone else. So how has anyone managed to claim over my shipyard inside my protected zone?

After sailing to around 35 islands, I'm starting to wonder where the adventure is? in ARK, I used to have a real sense of discovery when I eventually tamed something to ride, and set off on a dangerous journey across the land. With this, I face minimal peril at sea, and arrive at yet another small island, that is covered in players who have already spawned at the nearest freeport etc. I was hoping for some huge land masses mixed in, that needed me to bring mounts, weapons, etc to need to adventure to where my ship couldn't get. I LOVE sailing the vast ocean, but I still think there's plenty of room for some decent land mass. Everybody wants to put down roots and not have to live at sea, but its too crowded. I can only assume the devs meant this to be mainly PVP, and all we would do was battle each other needlessly for land. Am I mossing something? or is this anyone elses experience?

I had one medium handling sail on a sloop, then demolished and replaced it with two small handling sails. It feels slower now. Anyone been able to test this?

Every time I die with my small character, the corpse gets stuck under the ground and is just slighly visible. If I try to take my loot it works on land, but on a boat the character access the ship properties.

So I sit here, after the 7.0 patch (I played with a friend, we were doing fine) with my talents reset. I looked at the tree, thinking, okay, i'll spec into what I had before. only to realize I couldn't do that due to lack of talent points. Im not disappointed with the change, but as a player who is now most likely playing solo, it means I cannot access all the things I want to potentially build. My solo game is currently on PVE. My issue with the talents is that now for smaller groups, most of the stuff is gated and will not be accessible to them if they don't expand their tribe, something which they MAY NOT be comfortable doing. I was quite happy being able to build my Sloop, potentially upgrading to a Schooner soon after, but the reset screwed that notion. Whilst I agree that later game SHOULD be more gated, you shouldn't punish players that wish to play solo or in small groups. As for suggestions on this part, here are a two: Change "skills" to allow players to be able to spec into the full survival tree (if they wish) at 1 point a piece, atleast wooden structures/basic crafting stations (smithy/loom/shipyard) and atleast the smaller boats (upto Sloop i'd suggest, but Schooner would also work). This would allow smaller groups some flexibility, and actually a chance at getting further in the game (doesn't matter about bigger groups here, cause they'll naturally get bigger and better things sooner due to more hands on deck) Give more skill points per level, this would part solve the problem for smaller groups, and would allow them a chance at increased progress in the game. With your new model on skill points, an extra point per level shouldn't hurt, and would also quell a lot of the discontent from solo players, while still making larger grouped players progress at a similar speed. With regards to the other point now. Claiming. Now you couldn't have seen coming what actually happened, people zerged from the start, claimed as much land as they deemed fit. My one suggestion for this, would be to LIMIT the claims per Tribe. 1 Flag for every 5 people. If theres a smaller than 5 man group, would they need more than 1 claim anyway? The issue doing this, would be people claiming next to eachother, and then deciding to group up, the fix for this, would be to reduce one of the claims (the person joining the tribe) to 50%, so people couldn't complain that they lost all their land when they joined a company, it gives an incentive to merge Companies, since people wont lose as much this way. I think the game has ALOT of potential, Bucket loads, but certain things need to be fixed to allow all audiences to play. I hope you give thought to some of the current issues, and take into account ways of fixing them.

So, we found a Blueprint: Masterwork Small Shipyard and the requirements you can see in the screenshot attached: Fibers (4x 529) Stone (4x 232) Thatch (4x 926) Wood (4x 1852) We have all of them and the skill is unlocked, but its still wont let us build?

From what I can tell I see no advantage to using the large over the small crop plot, at least for what plants I was able to test. In Ark, you had the advantage of large crop plots storing more fertilizer and having more space. However, in this game, you only are able to harvest up to a maximum of 4-5 items per harvest cycle and the crop plots do not have an inventory like Arks. Currently, it feels like an immense hassle that should be tweaked. You have to till the soil with a mini-game. You have to do the mini-game to try to get growth bonus. Etc. Please fix the gardening. It feels really underwhelming to grow things and to only be able to harvest a couple of things, especially when the harvested crops have a faster spoil timer than other fruits and veggies.

Ahoi, we are a very active tribe that has conquered a decent amount of land in a short amountt of time. We are looking for new people to live in there, minimun tribes of 10 members or so.

So our small dock has been qued to build ((at seperate times)) 2 sloops, and 1 schooner, and after it finished, the ribcages did appear. has anyone had this issue happen, its not just me either someone else on our cluster this just happened as well

I've had 2 schooners complete the crafting in the small shipyard, but no ship came out.

Hi there, I have a small suggestion for lawless spawns, especially in the colder regions: Please stop spawning us in the ocean. Living conditions are already hard enough without being forced to combat wetness from the get-go. Much appreciated.

I would like to kind of see a small companies / tribe put into a separate server, With no alliances. Obviously more pressing things at matter, But for the future this would be nice. Maybe around max 10 players. So you can have crew for the bigger ships maybe.

These are my first few videos on Atlas building, I have been building on Ark for a couple of years and I really like how they have implemented the new system. [youtube] [youtube] [youtube]

so from 25 of them iv been though only 5 of then did not need to restart or Check files to play and the loss of ships and tames is all so a pain tho i hope you devs get better at deploying patchs atm if any thing is annoying its that
-
But could we please tweak cooking pots so they do not cook meat in them? There are several food recipes that call for raw meat. Making these recipes are annoying because the cooking pot cooks the raw meat while you're trying to craft the recipe.

First, ECO decor mod. HIRE THIS WOMAN!!! Make toggle to show buoy sign or hide it. No water physics until it is placed. Paint Dingys Rotate the dingy to face forward when attached to the ship. Change sail resolution to 512x512 so we can have better images on our sails and flags. Our computers can handle it. slow hunger and thirst or make the day last longer. have the hunger and thirst be not so damn annoying and violent until the hps are critical. Start with stomach growl and smacking sounds at first.

Luck, our group is 3 people and we have an ok and fun time when 2 or all 3 are on. PVE But when only 1 of us is on it's a grind and a deathful alpha animal nightmare. I could go through the list of bads from all of us 3 people but I wish to be constructive, not destructive. And if you have a job or life things to do it's very ploddingly and a very unlucky time. Please take ARK out of this extremely impressive and mind-blowing game, and make it the best pirate game ever. Couldn't there be some sort of scripting for the loner? The servers are often sparsely filled to ask and receive help. Thank you! 226 hours on Atlas

this could just be me with these issues the constant moaning when at low health, no water, too hot, or anything that causes moaning the wind that doesn't change directions, been going in a straight line for the better part of an hour trying to go south and not north the vitamins, nothing more than a pain in the rear end things that wanna eat me won't leave me alone even after going around to the other side of the island or even going to another island (looking at you crocks) players being able to steal stuff from other players chests/bodies on PvE servers server crashes and rollbacks

After last patch servers unstable, unable to play longer than 2 minutes before game disconnects me or crash. Vitamins ofcourse,90% deaths because of vitamins. Yes i want to micromanage but this is just getting me real tired. Reduce depletion rate by at least 50%,it is really annoying. Fish sometimes just swim around my bait, takes exactly 3-5 minutes to catch a bait. Somehow im okay with that. Sometimes when you die you respawn in freeport eventho you have raft/boat with bed on the other map. Not cool, completely frustrating. Sometimes after loging in,geting stucked in place. Try to run but server pulls you back few meters back. Rafts and other ships decay rate is totally uncool. Sometimes upon respawning and dying after disconnect and when select "respawn on bed" game reverts my water and vitamin bar down to zero which causing me to die again. Sometimes because its hard to manage vitamin D i intentionally kill myself and respawn on bed doesnt work, instead i ress under map. Dying too much or getting savagely killed by another beast can send you back to character selection screen without chance of getting your stuff back. Im mostly okay with bugs but losing progress is one of the worst thing that can happen to me. I will add more bugs when i encounter them

One of the biggest problem with this game from day 1 was the UNLIMITED LAND CLAIM SYSTEM. Fact: a company can hold up to 500 people and some do. Where do all these people base? Fact: anyone can claim unlimited amount of land. How many big companies have claims all over the world pushing out any new comers. Fact: when everyone started this game your mind set was "Build a ship and claim some land" None of this is happening for a lot of people and the new players may not last one week in this game. Fact: No server can handle 100 people in one spot and yet the dev team set the game in motion for 500 player companies to have grand battles. Fact: Smaller company official servers are badly needed with a cap of 3 land claims per person Not only would this save a lot of players from leaving but it would make the game friendly and inviting just like your creepy neighbor!

Will there be like Ark and have 3 or 6 person max companies with increased gather, exp and taming rates?

So, you dream of ruling an island in Atlas together with your friend ? Building and owning a mighty fleet of galleons ? Building an invincible stone fortress high on a rock ? Sailing and plundering other islands ? This wont work my friend, and this is why : All islands, even in icy tundra, are completely take by companies with several hundred up to several thousand players. How will you defend against 100 naked people swarming your island placing flags and stone ? Ok, and the mighty war fleet ? Doesn’t matter which ship you build and how you build : It is 100% destroyed or stolen when you log in the next day. But... can you at least have the invincible stone fortress on a rock. Unfortunately no. If this fortress is reachable by cannons/beat carts you are done. If not, then they build a 1x1 high tower with a cannon/mortar on top...and you are done. But.. sailing and plundering other islands ? I mentioned all islands are taken by megatribes. As soon as you start your siege and plunder tour you will be swarmed by hornets and sunk. And if really manage to plunder that mastercraft blueprint ? Where do you want to store it ? In your raided rock fortress ? On your stolen galleon ? So, what to do ? Live in freeports ! Yes, your ship will be gone after your raiding day. But it will be gone nevertheless, independent of where you park it (see above). Make a second account on steam. Store plundered valuables on that second char. When you come from work or it is weekend : Log in, buy a sloop, build some cannons and foundations, and here we go ! Sail, explore, plunder. If you see a nice base place a cannon or mortar..plunder ! Bring the loot back to your mule in the freeport. Say bye bye to your loyal sloop, salvage what you can, log off, go to bed and sleep knowing that you lost nothing while offline. If you need to level up, well, then start a level trip instead of a plunder trip. This will be much better for your mental health than beeing fugged day by day.
