  1. I have a Sloop, with two speed sails. I can assign an NPC crew member to one sail, and one to the steering, but not both to the sails so that I can steer. I assume this is something to do with me having two of the same sails, but haven't tested this theory. in PVE official server, on client patch version 8.56
  2. After sailing to around 35 islands, I'm starting to wonder where the adventure is? in ARK, I used to have a real sense of discovery when I eventually tamed something to ride, and set off on a dangerous journey across the land. With this, I face minimal peril at sea, and arrive at yet another small island, that is covered in players who have already spawned at the nearest freeport etc. I was hoping for some huge land masses mixed in, that needed me to bring mounts, weapons, etc to need to adventure to where my ship couldn't get. I LOVE sailing the vast ocean, but I still think there's plenty of room for some decent land mass. Everybody wants to put down roots and not have to live at sea, but its too crowded. I can only assume the devs meant this to be mainly PVP, and all we would do was battle each other needlessly for land. Am I mossing something? or is this anyone elses experience?
  3. As a small group we've now sailed 35 islands and found no coastal plots, I think the game just needs a single player mode. Tons of people are setting up one man plots, with yet another dock, and its getting ridiculous. These players often don't want to interact at all, or join companies, they just want to play alone and are doing it online because they have no other choice. I have no issue with this type of play, but I think it's hurting the game currently. Single player would reduce the population, the comedy amount of docks around islands, and balance out the land claims I reckon. This may be tricky to implement when the whole game needs loads of servers, but I'm sure there's a solution. Fighting over claims is also making this the most salty PVE community I've ever been in. Arriving at a new island is met with PVP style suspicion, and the companies want you to quickly go away for fear of you dropping land claims.
  4. This has just happened to me, I spawned inside my dock. Needs a suicide command as Ark always did as these glitches will never be completely fixed.
