  1. Lawless needs to have an insane gather buff to reward players traveling there and braving the dangers to go there. It also would reward players trying to live there and allow them to build ships to fight faster. I think a reasonable rate would be 4X faster gather rate than the claimable islands. I think this would be a lot of fun and it would also make it so people who couldnt get an island claimed have a viable option and it will hurt less when the mega groups come raid them. This would increase content within the game and provide a better Risk versus Reward system.
  2. I would love love love for this system to be removed. I love in last oasis that you just manage your water, but I am ok with managing food and water. They need to replace vitamin buffs with a food buff and a drink buff. For example you have a water that gives 10% run speed and a food that gives 10% more melee damage, but there are tons of different buffs they could add for recipes to replace the current vitamin system. The current system is rewarding players dying to refresh their vitamins.
  3. They had to keep this sort of thing to help report players, but its been circumvented by the 123 steam name. They need an in game report function and then they need to remove steam names from displaying.
  4. I wish the free ports would allow you to upload and download ships like in Last Oasis. People do like to play other games, work, sleep, and spend time with families. The lack of this system is super unhealthy for peoples lives and I know a lot of people would leave last oasis for Atlas if they implemented this.
  5. Their benefit is it allows more players to own one island, sort of like piling people into high rise apartments. The islands are already all claimed and without megas the density would decrease and there would be more homeless players.
  6. A little communication would really go a long way for sure.
  7. The ability to upload And download ships into the cloud in Free Ports. This saves the state of everything on the ship including creatures and crew. It could continue to use gold to pay the crew or not, that isnt as important to me. What is important is that people start using more big ships because they arent afraid of someone blowing off one plank in the night. People could theoretically live entirely off of ships with this system and never have a real base.

With the upcoming reworks being focused on creating combat, adventure, and players spending more time at sea, I think that there should be various events that broadcast to the players and appear on their maps. These events would give players enough time to travel across multiple zones to reach them before they spawn. These can be PVE combat events with amazing rewards, high value sunken treasure, high value flotsam, or abandoned ships that can be claimed by whoever wins the skirmish that would follow.
  9. The cargo cart should have a movement debuff that makes it move slower, this is realistic and it balances swivel cannons with AI. The Cargo Cart should allow a creature to carry around ten times as much material, this is also realistic and makes them an important part of farming and PVP.
  10. A simple solution is just having the FOY at all of the Relic Islands always.
  11. I too understand that this game is in a different world with magic, but I just hope they don't screw up majorly like they did with Extinction's Titans.

  13. When I light someone on fire they shouldn't be able to run at me and light me on fire, its just an annoying mechanic. If we are using fire arrows then we cannot have any players engaging in melee combat, this especially becomes apparent when doing treasure maps, so the melee builds become worthless since the best thing to do is create a fire where they spawn.
  14. I think once the ship is crafted the hull of the ship should have one giant health pool so we arent slapping new planks on in the middle of the ocean. Holes should appear that spray water and the crew has to run around repairing these holes on the inside using hammers.
  15. Weight sails desperately need a buff, as they are no one uses them.
  16. I wish they would just remove the talents used to unlock trees and have them all unlocked. I also wish they would clean up the UI to look more like https://atlascalculator.com/
  17. Put the npc’s on the plucket on your base. Gold is he upkeep along with food. Boom, instant base defense when younare offline. Build these around claim flags if you like.

  19. Guns should be OP up close and weak or inaccurate at range, due to how the guns were back then.
  20. Lots of my friends are complaining about aimbotters shooting them from far away, like up on cliffs. Since these weapons are primitive why shouldn't there be damage fall offs and max ranges to simulate how inaccurate these type of guns were?
  21. Please consider moving towards a more RPG style stat point system and away from the ark system. This would give more flexibility when calculating bonuses and expanding the effect that stats have on combat. These are just rough draft ideas to get people thinking and hopefully talking. Strength. - This would be carry weight and possibly melee damage. Dexterity. - This could be stamina, possibly critical hit chance, or increased ranged damage. Constitution. - This could be where you get health. Intelligence. - This could be ability related and later on magic related. Wisdom. - This could be crafting skill. Charisma. - This could be used for taming and giving bonus levels to hired NPC's.
  22. Ok so here is my problem with the nerf. You want to make them 40% weaker? Fine then make them 40% easier to tame. This includes what it takes to knock them out, make it so the creature just has to be below half of its health to bola instead of low on health. Remove all special food requirements to tame creatures. Make things easy come and easy go and people will have more fun. Also remove the talents required to ride the creatures, but replace them with buffs for trained riders.
  23. I think that they could reduce the size of the icons and just go with tool tips on mouse over. They also could do the talents in a separate window that opens up. If they are going to keep all the trees connected then they should look at making a tree like Path of Exile or Final Fantasy X and just connect it all on one page you can scroll around in.
  24. This wasn't a discussion of priorities, but rather if its a positive change to make. Obviously they have bigger fish to fry, but they can still add this to their list at a low priority.
  25. I disagree, but the benefit of taxes should motivate larger companies to allow you to build on a neutral claim flag in their territory. Just to add Claim flags should be limited to only one per player on PVE, but no limit on PVP.
