MSCARN you do know you can place a flag-claim smack outside someones base and take over their stuff ? even when people are around

you also need ship resource box, and fill it what you need to repair, as the ai-npc slowly drains it , so if its empty of repair stuff , no auto

And the issue is the ones claiming offline can claim just a portion of your base , get acess to all your stuff , dont help one bit if you sleep in your base and someone clips your entrances-doors-changes the codes-and say goodbye to what you made

replacing flag does nothing , we removed ours , only day later someone coming in and start claiming , fix is needed ASAP or get npc you hired to count as active and contesting claims for base and around

this need to be fixed, we are having people place flags right by our base, and thus needing someone on flag duty = game is gonna end with people leaving in droves , due to no claims and people stealing bases and getting their stuff

we had one run straight up to our base, set claim flag and sitting there, also tested with having one in company leave, he can place flags right outside the base where it supposed to be protected so yeah now its a watch the flag game as you now need people on 24/7 to protect your lands

unseat them and make sure they not moving-following, they should go into a sweep emote and they will repair the ship as long resources are available , just be careful when crocs and such around as they tend to draw them and get killed fast

that is simple, cause people will claim outside a area , and eventually they can claim your home base, and nothing you can do about it, people wants a buffer from people claiming as they can if not checked loose acess to their stuff and base if the new claim overlaps your base We got free area to our east but when we see people start contesting claim we see our main base flag go down so yeah its a bad situation atm Also just added note we been moving people in from other companies, but we always end up with a issue where if something gets overlapped we need to either curtious and give back the stuff they cant acess or try figure out how we can get people home base not lost due to flags are overlapping/just simply taking over their base Urh double edit sorry : also people come to where we got our claim and go greedy etc etc, no its not that, due to the flags overlapping we can suddenly hand over our base and hard work to you and that we are not taking our chances on

the so called 3 day protection aint there, i been spammed last 3 hours with people trying to claim my spot , its getting really tiresome and its become watch the flag till someone gives up and calls it quit

yeah its happening here also, constant claim poaching ,this is turning into a watch the flag game due to fear of loosing your base

nope, we are being contested constantly so thats not working as they say , we are getting hit with new people all the time trying to take over the place and we are active 24/7 , we have even replaced all the flags , then tested it with people outside the company and they can start claiming and contesting + taking over in 40 minutes, one day we will wake up and the base is gone then its game over

people can try claim your stuff after 16.000 seconds, aka 4 hours, so atm no sleeping if you want to drop your claims sigh the claims need to be fixed, either make it square or lock people into 1 claim so everyone can get one, but atm overlapping claims resulting in loss of bases is not working,, people are going to sleep and waking up to loosing their base and the will to play the game

Add in if you are getting ai-npc crew you are in trouble sharks-manta-crocs will go berserk after them, get to close to shore they will also die in 1-2 hits So yes tone down the spawn on coast spots and when pc is on the ships ,as its now getting really hazardious to even try landfall and you cant do anything about it when a shark magically eats your crew from bottom of the sea

the whole zoning and then meeting a bunch of SOTD is the worst, nothing one can do, so they need to give a timer of no damage so you can at get moving and not right into a SOTD on zoning

take a look at this , this is the spot behind our base , even with overlapping flags people can and will put one down and take the place in 40 minutes (if no one around to stop them)

the npc crew need to be unseated-idle on the ship to repair, then they will use resources from the ship storage box , you will see them sweeping the deck , but also you need to be anchored, issue there becomes if you are in teh shallows crocdiles and anything that can get to your boat will target the npc and kill him

so the wild lvl is random ? i keep just getting low tier ones , hirering then checking wild lvl and fire them (got some gold to burn in freeport )

just be damned careful with anchor + npc with aggro around, they will go after them like mad sadly , testing having one standing our base to see if the wildlife goes aggro and break down walls and such

claiming is broken + protection, you can place a flag down, then it gets protected for 4 hours, after that anyone can contest it and take it in 40 minutes , and this where alot have lost their stuff as people will prey on some that has few claims then take it over before the person wakes up as most does not sleep in 40 minutes bulks However a wipe is bound to happen , and might be needed not to far off i agree, but lock down claim-flag-the bugs with bouys messing up spawn + houses and then set a time servers gets back up from wiped and people will be back to go out and search for a place called home

they bugged it somehow, sitting middle of the sea myself with damned around me, so hopefully they fix it if fast, or another ship going down

the issue is two fold, yes people are claiming right and left, but till they fix that people can claim while people are asleep people will protect their claims placing them everywhere hopefully they fix them , so at least some will get a home

yes that be very nice, but as it is now anyone can go up to your base and take everything, so they need to fix that also make limited claims for groups-companies (upkeep and such), and make sure the base claim is safe then people will let more get land, atm its free for all on the pve server who can be on most
