Finally got some really good time in tonight but came to a conclusion that made me make this post for feedback. I am a solo player that is looking to join a company on NA PVP. I'm completely fine with pirating and player battles but after my 4 hour play session tonight I might be done for a bit. Background: I am playing solo at the moment. I have now been back to the Freeport 6 times to remake a raft and to get exploring (or go out to another island as the game tells you to). All the other times I've had to restart were because my bed on my raft got destroyed while I was offline. Tonight, every island I stopped at was insanely covered by crocs/snakes/tigers that magically come together and kill you. Before writing this I had 2 crocs, 2 snakes and 4 vultures on me and my raft. I tried to play smart and scout and go in but I couldn't defend myself at all and then the bulrush of them all. My feedback: Some type of offline ship/bed protection Animal spawns / AI is awful and needs to be changed I like the concept of the game but the frustrations are outweighing everything atm for me. The team seems to be listening and trying to slowly put this together so I'm optimistic. Just wanted to throw my feedback in.

For me just starting my journey sailing through the great world of Atlas as a Pathfinder, the one thing that really annoys me is the style of the skill tree chosen by the developers is very random and boring showing strings going through each other and is kind of uninspired for me I was hoping for something not miring but similar to the skill tree(s) from the borderlands series with several paths to go showing multiple playstyles to really make the character unique to you, the player. Just to let everyone know I'm not hating on the developers I'm just trying to give some solid feedback on what I think of the game so far.

If you wan't to survive the cold in Tundra you need to craft at least Fur clothe set. But what you need for it is sap. And there is no sap spawn in Tundra. Please devs. Please. At least in PvE. Make sap spawn in Tundra. We can't just roam with ships trying to find saps. If the ghost ship didn't attacked rafts yeah we could try. But with the new update it's really hard. Please. Also gems should spawn in Tundra as well. There is no gems in O2. Literally NONE. And please make agrro ranges small with alpha animals and wolfes. It's literally dying and dying again with low levels on Tundra.

After playing for 15 or so hours, my only major criticism has to be that Bears and similar aggressive animals are easier to tame than Horses are. It lead me to question why Horses aren't passive tame similar to Chickens and Sheep.

I'm just trowing my overall feeling about the game as a solo player before quiting for a while. Its my way to help an Early Acess game that I liked dispite anything. First of all I'm a solo player in a MMORPG and maybe I should have not bought the game in the first place. I loved the land experience in this game. I feel that it evolved alot from Ark and converted well from a Sci-FI dinossaur game to a Pirate/sailing game despite the "jousting" combat agains wild life and the slow atacks used to balance it that feels a bit cluncky. So far so good until I decided to play the "real" game here and build my first, my second and my third ship... While I respect and understand the need to add danger in the seas with NPC ghost ships they're too much and too strong for a solo first-time sailor. All my 3 sloops never passed lvl 4 or managed to return to the shores that they were built and here are the reasons that they sunk and made me quit for a while: - The not so random Movment from SoTD while they arent aggro yet. Its an old inherithed habit from ark where parassaurs always runs from danger in your direction(bringing predators to you) the bronto that keeps walking over the iron node so you can accidentaly hit it or the predators that always choose the prey that will bring it closer to where you are. SotD randomly gets closer and closer to you or in your way even when they're not aggro so those aggron range tunnings are not that effective. - The Transition traps is also pretty bad. When you change maps the wind usually change a bit wich normaly makes you slower. The process itself is a bit slow for obvious reason and adding to that is very common to find a good amount of SoTD waiting for you in the other side. With the issues said above reaction may be late. - Ok you can be faster on your sloop than a ghost ship but its a bit useless when they spawn surrounding your ship and just keeps the same speed with moderate turning radius against the wind. - Travelling to a cold area and tis high probability of death. So you're ok in your region vitamin buffed and using your hide armor and fully invested in fortitude and you transfer in your sloop to the side area and its cold area, for some odd reason your buff is gone you start to die freeezing and the time the game took transfering your ship to a new server granted the SoTD that was waiting for you a cannon ball hit that will break your bed. I keep seeing people saying that they can handle SoTD just well that they use some miraculous setup in their ships so they outruns and out manuever the SoTD in their sloops.Thats why I kept insisting on this. For me, nothing of that worked. I may be too bad at this game but also I had no chance to learn. Never had a chance to finish a voyage and come back home no relevant experience adquired. Even on 2,5x rates is a bit annoying to grind all mats to keep building ships and get it sunk in few minutes. The end result could be different if i was playing in a group even if it was small but thats not my case and i expected to have a chance to get started in solo mode. My suggestions: Keep those SoTD to some given harder map square only so players can avoid . Another option would be not making it random spawn in every map but some sort of event fleet that keeps traveling from square to square with a server announcment when it arrives and leaves a given square. Thats all, keep evolving as the game already gave large steps in just few days. Its clear the effor to make this game better and great. But right now the SoTD just killed it for me. See you again when those ships are handled.

We just tamed our first horse! I just wanted to give a little feedback: Find the guy that thought this was a fun mechanic and fire him/her. This was not fun...at all. Not even slightly. Happy new year!

point 1. The critical one i think there should be a limitation of companies members. there are some companies that have over hundreds of peoples. that's far away from reality. One ship and his crew is realstic, there could be trade agrements bewteen companies than they could exband and trade with others. at the current state of an early acces it is nearly impossible to claim land. term-there is no expierence for others than dominating from chinese and some streamers their thought i would be nice too invite 400 of peoples to make a companie. poiint 2. nonsense servers at the rush hour have to high ping but it's not worth it than the stability fixed issues seems to be working. point 2. positive feedback wild pigs are aggro and attack in a group thats a kind of a good idea because in nature they won't be alone and attack you as well when they got threatened. gpu and epic settings working for me now on my desktop build and the game looks great (current 120-220 fps)(overclocked gtx 2080ti) (personal settings) running i have to say it was on the time there was only 39 users online wifeys laptop gpu (30-90) (gtx1070) without personal settings but overclocked vitamins and that stuff seems to be balanced. okay vitamin d goes to fast down.....and you have to eat a lot thats not realistic - 3 meals per day. point 3. good idea the airstrem(wind) totaly not nice. need to be changed it would be nice if there could be a wind direction indicator placed in the game fishes are a rar thing in the game but they needed to makig food for vitamin d -greetz

After building 3 sloops I've reached that point and asked.. is this fun ? Tried taming. omg what did you do.. horrid mechanics. Rafts have complex rotating sails and a anchoring system yet no rudder ? Can't turn good either. Even at sail 180 why can not sail backwards ? Have any devs been sailing ? Perhaps they need to. Wind feels static Where's npc trade, faction or pirates ? Ship of damed why have such high hp ? You are holding people hostage on Islands or people just kill the with tools lol awesome design choices. You also gave them cannons at front and sides and they are a pretty good shot. Hard to outrun. Locking lots of skills behind other skills then making the amount too high to get in skills you know players need. Made the game anti solo and small groups. Taming rubbish and npc ai isn't all that. Pve structure and body should not be able to be looted. To strict on land claims. Should have 1 per player of Certain radius thus when joining company lose claim company gains 1 distance. Would stop people owning whole islands. Animal air act like dinosaurs, giraffe turns like a rex. Wolves act like raptors pigs. Ai runs around you at high speed skiterish behaviour like troodans. To answer question I did enjoy. Then after 3 rd sloop I thought no, it's slowly not becoming fun. Especially solo. If there classing as a mmo they need to step up there game and perhaps check out a few.

Little feedback from 30hours gameplay 1. Down scale AI spawn rate there is too many animals/hostile animals running around 2. Down scale Ship of the damned spawn, it's not cool that there is 4-7 per grid, make it more like 1-3 in just one Specific grid and other grids 0 spawn chance. 3. When leveling over +10, should give 3 skill points. 4. Find a way to auto restart servers when they crash. 5. Give us option to change home server in main menu so we don't stay stuck in full servers.

Would be awesome if while on the seas there's merchant ships, navy ships, pirates. Using anything from rafts upwards. The seas are and feel empty. Would give the opportunity to trade items and attack.. Being a "Atlas" pirates, exploration game it feels trade needs to be a feature also npc around ports etc that can be recruit ed in to crew.
