  1. server does need a wipe. This is early access and not fully out.. if people leave then they don't quite understand what early access or betas are about. Some good points in there but remember it has to be balanced for perhaps solo companies, and resources to repair isn't a good idea. It's easy to get. Compared to archage where they thought increasing labour tickets would prevent one person owning all the land.... It didn't and with freedom people are just greedy. Personally the more flags you own SHOULD mean the more land taxes your company or person owns than the more you lose from loot, harvesting etc from where ever you loot or harvest from. Up to 100% so if your a land hogger than your maintenance will cost you everything. To Balance this out you can rent pieces of land out. The owner sets the boundaries of said amount and with a pre determined figure. So 10x20 piece of land will earn you say 10% off which brings your tax to 90%. The tax figure for land would be as stated a pre done figure by devs so to avoid greed of say 5x5 netting all the land tax. This would encourage land owners to seek out non land owners so that they could lower there tax to 30% which pays for the upkeep. Land ownership can also not go above 100% so reach 100% renting 50 % means you cannot go and get more land. You have you land. Atlas problem is that it's a jack of all trades and master of none. To many PvP elements in pve side of things. Before continuing they should consider fixing broken things before adding more to need fixing. Eg ping is still crazy high for EU located server's. Have quicker decay to get rid of unwanted or unused traps . Combat foundation spam to stop land grabs on lawless land (the same tax system can apply to unclaimed land but the lowest tax maintenance is 45% Have a system similar to conan exciles where one foundation is gone in few hours and too make it stay ends up having to be a 6x6 with door and roof for it to be recognised
  2. Flags should be one per player supporting a house, barn, enough for a small plot garden and small shipyard. If built inland then perhaps the island has to band together to build a small npc port where can keep ships. This would be compulsory in form of tax only until built plus personal donation Alsoan npc trader docks once a week with random goods for gold. Company should get flags based on size and have to be near each other. So cannot take up half the island. The more land. The more upkeep. taxations should be what the company has to pay for land ownership a maximum of 15% can be used for guests farming resources. Upkeep will be resources and gold. Change the claim boundary from circle to a square. At least can build a wall around property Building should not be allowed to block off paths or resources. Resources if blocked should spawn next to where there meant to spawn. If a company blocks completely then they upkeep will increase alot to provide resource at npc dock. Ideas off top for pve.

  4. After building 3 sloops I've reached that point and asked.. is this fun ? Tried taming. omg what did you do.. horrid mechanics. Rafts have complex rotating sails and a anchoring system yet no rudder ? Can't turn good either. Even at sail 180 why can not sail backwards ? Have any devs been sailing ? Perhaps they need to. Wind feels static Where's npc trade, faction or pirates ? Ship of damed why have such high hp ? You are holding people hostage on Islands or people just kill the with tools lol awesome design choices. You also gave them cannons at front and sides and they are a pretty good shot. Hard to outrun. Locking lots of skills behind other skills then making the amount too high to get in skills you know players need. Made the game anti solo and small groups. Taming rubbish and npc ai isn't all that. Pve structure and body should not be able to be looted. To strict on land claims. Should have 1 per player of Certain radius thus when joining company lose claim company gains 1 distance. Would stop people owning whole islands. Animal air act like dinosaurs, giraffe turns like a rex. Wolves act like raptors pigs. Ai runs around you at high speed skiterish behaviour like troodans. To answer question I did enjoy. Then after 3 rd sloop I thought no, it's slowly not becoming fun. Especially solo. If there classing as a mmo they need to step up there game and perhaps check out a few.
  5. Seen a dolphin and a jellyfish but it does feel empty. Even the island feel lost and need some npc around. I'm not saying it should be easy to get gold but there should definitely be other means to get it. Though right now I don't know how to get. That should cater for both solo and large companies.
  6. Would be awesome if while on the seas there's merchant ships, navy ships, pirates. Using anything from rafts upwards. The seas are and feel empty. Would give the opportunity to trade items and attack.. Being a "Atlas" pirates, exploration game it feels trade needs to be a feature also npc around ports etc that can be recruit ed in to crew.
  7. Already littered with anything from 1x1 upwards. Loads of small shipyards everywhere. 4 days is not rapid especially if it refresh when logged on. Unofficial land claims timer should be 12-24 hours. Enough time to gather, sleep and go. With no refresh. If time runs out have to build again. Only a matter of time before the pillars and ladders start appearing. This time you can stop this on pve.

  9. Way to move. On map select says ping is 70. Currently at EU pve equatorial oceon ping 255 completely unplayable can't do nothing No further communication from devs All the 100s of sleeping players is anchoring performance....
