  1. We have some regular blueprints (in this case, for some stone foundations). I like the limited number of crafts...keeps us looking...if: You still have to spend the skill points in order to craft from a blueprint, which seems stupid. Why have a blueprint is you can make it from spending point. Yes, there may be a valid sense of reasoning for higher level blueprints...but I imagine these are supposed to work like in Ark and enable people access to things they normally can't craft because of the limited points.

    PvE woes

    @SecluseWe haven't. But there are buoys out in the water near us. They are not ours and we cannot get rid of them. We suspect these are the issue...but have to wait until they are ok to demolish (again...since last time they were able to demolish, we couldn't) I wish we could get an admin to come in and get rid of them. They are on our claim...bugged somehow. There are no lighthouses on our island.
  3. We just tamed our first horse! I just wanted to give a little feedback: Find the guy that thought this was a fun mechanic and fire him/her. This was not fun...at all. Not even slightly. Happy new year!

    PvE woes

    I'd settle for a fix for the resource re-spawns,,,at least we'd be able to have some fun building stuff.
  5. You know, when the SoD thing first happened, we decided not to sail (in this sailing game). So, when the last tweaks came out, we decided to set sail...in a raft, since anything else is just suicide. The decreased spawn rate seemed awesome. Granted, we haven't died from one yet...but having to dodge 7 or 8 ships in one zone seems that the spawn rates are not fixed. See, sailing (in a sailing game) seems like the most amount of fun to be had. We did try to have some fun on land, of course. But the claim bugs and resource respawn bugs kinda shut that down. I'd love to destroy these buoys out in the water, but the destroy mechanic is bugged (says demolish allowed, but we can't). And other players are placing overlapping claim flags that encroach on our territory and cause ownership issues. The animals are fun...when they're not bugged. But they are extremely un-balanced. Never mind the player vs mob un-balance...I saw a level 1 croc kill a level 15 elephant. Yup, that seems pretty stupid. Oh, and fun of taming a parrot...anyone have fun doing that? Try it...loads of fun (sarcasm). And aggro range is insane on a lot of these mobs. This game has a LOT of potential, but it's just not fun...especially for PvE players. (we chose PvE because we're an older bunch and prefer to avoid the gank-fest of PvP. It's a ligit play-style. Don't bash us) Grapeshot, please put some time into PvE, specifically: Claims, Resource respawns and SoD spawns (just greatly reduce flotsam if you're worried about the ease of getting nicer things), and animal behaviors. thanks, -T Feel free to check out our woes on NA PvE, J12, Oxwater Isle (North west side)

  7. we have buoys on NA PvE J12 Oxwater Isle that we can't destroy, even though it says demolish allowed.
  8. We're trying to destroy some old buoys since we heard they are causing the resource respawn bug. They say demolish allowed...but they will not demolish. Location: NA PvE server, J12, Oxwater Isle, West side of the island near the northern corner. Also, are snakes meant to climb 2 walls high and bite things through the walls? -T
  9. If any dev is watching this forum, please take a look at the west side of Oxwater Isle. No resources anywhere. We'd like to see something respawn, ya know.
  10. Bugs that really break the game right now: -Resource spawns are broke- Resources spawns should only block for player placed structures...not the entire claim area. All these islands are claimed, so the effect is game-breaking. -Destroyed Ship (PvE)-Our Raft and 2 sloops were destroyed. All three were anchored and all three in different grids. -Character Spec bug - My character is sitting at -168 skill points. Go figure. -Ghost Ships Galore! - Yeah, nobody wants to sail any more because they're afraid of getting jumped by 6 Ghost Ships. Not a fair fight on a Sloop. -Resource naming bad - I harvested crystal! or so it said. It ended up being salt. Fix that please. -Server Stability - Yup, you guys are working on this one hard. Keep it up! But don't ignore the other bugs! Not BUGS, but bad decisions: Skill point tree adjustment: Think before you do. There are more small companies than large ones. Don't cripple them. Resource balancing: I get that the gather rate should be low because you don't want 200 easy-mode ships per company...but those same resources are used for base building. Maybe lower the ingredients for base structures? Overpowered animals: The balance, level for level, is off for animals. A level 2 wolf should not be a contest for a level 25 player. Rare resources that are across the world for taming: Good thing to encourage travel, but we don't want to have to go 13 grids over for sugar cane. Maybe other sugars could work the same? (this is one of the many examples) Here's a suggestion for claims: Don't have them block resource respawns. Limit the number of claims per company, regardless of company size. Get rid of open-sea claims, or at least right off the shore. Why in the world has someone surrounded our claims (4) all around offshore? That's a bad mechanic. Hope this finds the Devs! -T
