  1. And you constantly fail to grasp that leeching something is not actually doing it. Do you understand the concept of achieving something on your own? Under your own banner?
  2. I am talking exactly about the Kraken, most of the interesting content (torpedoes, subs and in the future probably flyers) that should not is locked behind it. You see, I dont regard this as a classic mmo game Willy. I consider this just a multiplayer sandbox survival game. Classic concepts of mmos like factions, respawn without the loss of gear, auction houses etc is absent, and the game is what people make of it. Basically your answer to any valid complaint comes down to “then leave the game that is meant for the zerg”. Very smart. And, no, it is not the answer. I am pointing out to the devs to what they promised us who are disgusted by the zerg, and that is, the freedom to play the game as a small group.
  3. Not the point, Willy. Where is the sense of achievement in piggybacking on a freaking zerg? Smaller tribes should be able to defeat the end game my themselves. And yes PS are not the issue here.
  4. And the reasons for it are: - official endgame content (subs, torpedos) is barred for smaller companies (unless they piggyback on larger companies) -inability to accelerated travels on high seas to discovered locations -lack of content or perks for vast majority of players who now left, that is solos and small companies on pvp official -overall ease of raiding someone on pvp due to imbalance caused by vast level and hitpoints difference and overall weakness of passive defenses (unlike in ark, who is still very much alive)
  5. Why PVE players are always the ones who whine the most? We have over 100 bred bears and over 20 bred tigers. Horses, rhinos... We have started the Razor line recently. Few guys. PvP official.
  6. Prepare to be eaten alive by 900 remaining zerg players on pvp official, or more precise , their leaders who are posting on forums, claiming that you should "join a "mega"", to really enjoy the game content, or uninstall.
  7. Which would be a lot harder to a lvl 100 climber nader with glider, if, for example, a puckle would deal 500 damage flat with 75% armor piercing, don't you agree? Zerg leaders and their core tryhards hide behind their numbers to build themselves to incredible levels and just tank the 150% puckle like it's a tennis ball launcher.
  8. I will just focus on this small part if you don't mind pulling it out of the context a bit. IMO 70% of those who left early was solos and small tribes (buddies). They found it too hard to play without the ORP and with zerg companies indeed claiming all, and were irritated by long sailing and some bugs. People like freedom to play with whom they want and how they want , after all this is a sandbox game. For many of us, that does not include being a secondary citizen in a zerg. Personally, I will not use in-game what we all must use in life: climbing the corporate structure, slaving for inferior "leaders", "proving " myself as a leader to 200 others and playing power struggle games only to be a deciding factor in tribe and achieve my personal goals in game. To be able to build what you want, how you want, attack whom you want, say and do what you want. And al that without being in a herd, where you personally do not amount to anything much other than meat shield, farm machine droid, breeding station and cannon fodder. And, from people that already joined zergs , I only hear most negative stories. Yes, even from the zergs of some of those who post here and advertise here. It all led me to believe that only leaders and admins of zerg have fun. So, it is natural for those people to defend the game and current system, because, in fact, they are defending their positions and comfort zones Like many others, I want the small tribes to actually have a chance in ATLAS, like we were promised by he devs.
  9. Nevah Either I am a king or a nobody. Also, I only accept mature tryhards who are not snowflakes and who are not complaining or throwing fits when ie. 14 hrs is needed to do some hard in game stuff and lose valuable things while doing it. We all are like that. A commodity hard to come by - I don't need randoms and casuals. For me accepting randoms and joining someone as junior equals failure. Only 2 things that I require to live in atlas forever is stronger passive defenses and easier "feeding" of the same.
  10. Is it intention to make lawless unplayable?
  11. Cost varies, but now imagine 200 npc in 3 man tribe, needed to stay relatively safe. Imagine the time needed to maintain as well. Any qol change here is welcome.
  12. - if a fast traveling ship encounter within a *certain* range a non allied ship, travel stops and returns to normal speed till situation is resolved and enough distance acquired - same, slows down to normal until you run out of range or destroy them I would be gratedul for ANY acceleration yes. But with fast travel, no streams, no place you need to GO to activate it. It would only promote griefing and zerging. Should be activated from atlas map while on steering wheel.
  13. You live on pvp lawless? My condolences.
  14. Lul what skill? In both games, ark and atlas, pvp is very little about skill. It is all about resource power and player networking power. Try pubg or Tarkov.
  15. It is a good nerf. It can be useful in pve but not for weight any more (can still carry but not jump), but treasure hunt. In pvp, to the drain goes the disgusting meta of crab as a hub, who can jump out of danger with 1k grenades and looted gear on it.
  16. This is why the game needs flexible war timer according to tribe size, island size, allied member count. That means perma war for zerg companies with many allies, and way more peace fro small tribes.
  17. That is exactly why I always advocated ultra powerful puckles. Their armor penetration and damage output need to be doubled, and an option to reload automatically when less than 5 shots and inactive for 1 min is added. So, want to fly around grenading? Sure but have 500 hp AND mythical armor and even then they could die and lose the gear
  18. Do you actually wanna say that if I use bear roar when fear comes, I won't be affected by fear?
  19. sacrificed myself and made a bunch of beds for my mates to get easy dp. But it was hell. Best option is to fake joining zerg, use their beds, and leave zerg.
  20. Takes cca 10 minutes to sail thru 1 grid. for 15 grids, if you sail N to S, it would take you 2.5 hours in ideal world, but in actual game it will take you 5 hours. Too slow. Way too slow.
  21. Wait, that is ONLY 4 stacks of 500 metal??? That is NOTHING.
  22. Yes its cca 10 minutes if winds are ok. That means almost an hour for 5 grids, which is still way too long, even on max normal speed. Provided the wind is perfect which it is not more often than not.
  23. That is why I propose there is no particular spot on map to start/end fast travel. I propose it starts as soon as captain starts driving the ship and leaves island zone, by pressing the atlas map and choosing the DISCOVERED island on map. Standard modifier 3x. Slows down by 0.x for slower wind and speeds up by 0.x modifier if favorable wind in direction you are traveling. Stops and returns to normal if: - other non allied ship nearby -SotD nearby -storms nearby -monsters nearby And only possible if your destination is outside of local server.
  24. Same as for pve. The moment you encounter a non friendly player ship, both slow down to normal mode until enough distance is between them to resume fast mode or one non friendly group is gone.
  25. That is about the only reason I would quote as well. Easier for zerg to zerg everyone if they could travel faster.
