  1. I Am I the only person that lost hope in humanity when I heard this dribble? " act appropriately, and in a different way then you used to since that way was flawed." Excuse me, good things were happening to atlas, I have played this game since launch and they have made leaps and bounds. Aside from stone structure mishap this was the nail in the coffin for the best atlas players I've met. It was simple... fix your bugs, not combust a game by forcing PvP'ers and PvE'ers to collide into one server for maximum drama and toxicity lol
  2. It's like you finally found an elite community of badasses that still played this broken game in hopes that the developers would fix and produce on top of the current game. A wipe wasn't needed to get the results you want. PvP related wipes will always be required due to the fact that someone will dominate the lands and people will seek less stressful game play else where. Combining the two is going to be like a political debate. You have the PvP delete key spamming yelpers and music blaster's that will cause everyone to mute there game due to sanity and shove them into the space of pacifists who only want to hug and kiss everything... WTF!? We were all in for the ride due to early access but wiping and shoving both groups into one another like that and announcing this cancer a month ahead for everyone to go to the doctors in search of tumors.... come on... literally no reason to play this game up till the wipe and whats the purpose of playing after that, wipe will most likely happen again since its not taboo enough. damn I thought RUST was toxic or rage inducing. At least on there we expect a wipe to come not surprise wipe due to players who quit the game and bitched once. Only people who genuinely think this is a great move are one of two things. NEW to the game or QUIT the game already and have been waiting for this to happen. You want your toxic community. Take it I'm out!
  3. I fully agree with trading but that's why they have blueprints which require an abundance of various types of resources. There are islands out there with everything on them, you just need to go to read forums or find site that lists them but you can find them. The downfall with the increase cost for stone makes it a dead skill to work towards. The time and investment isn't worth it compared to wood or thatch. Thatch is so easy to make now its not even funny. I'm sitting at my base right now making 100's of stacks of shit to go off and build something. Enough people doing that is going to cause server latency and more issues for them. They need to leave thatch pricing the way it was and revert stone back. They are losing all the creative builders in this game due to the changes.
  4. We have 2 intense builders in our small company and the effect it had on them I can feel it. Dream of building a great town or castle like in there trailers... forget about it! I guess its time of thatch, I think if everyone annoyed with this would spend 1 hour building a huge thatch structure. I'm curious how fast they would return the thatch structure cost to where it was? What I'm getting at is thatch is TOO CHEAP and stone is too EXPENSIVE! Please fix devs before another majority of your community takes a recess from this game.
  5. I'm not sure what its like on PvP but maybe adding the demolish feature after so many days of being offline. That works in PvE. People are always clearing out bases for resources and to reduce over grid lag.
  6. Congrats! Honestly that would have been not only boring/difficult but curious how you ended up avoiding or managing rain storms if you had any, curse of the damned ships when you cam across especially in the Golden Ages? Nice job, excellent first feat. Wish you a great adventure bud!
  7. Do what I do, only gather from lawless regions and just don't bother with territory regions unless you absolutely know its worth going there for a good harvest. You are taking resources from there territory, taxation is fair for the idea of having land. PvE or PvP I don't see why it should change
  8. Devs PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.... for the love of anyone who enjoys this game... Revert the change back to the 3 stone/thatch/wood. Its not metal foundation I'm making. It's stone foundation. Stone cost now is worth quitting over at this point. Wood gets broken easily by anything and people can greif your base if its wood/thatch. It's bad enough structures within stone can be damaged if to close to animals attack outside. Sap being a requirement makes it not only not worth building in 90% of the map but now instead of locating just wood/fiber/stone (possibly metal) island... You now only will build until you come across a location with an abundance of sap, which is usually either blocked off by someones shit, not enough abundance of sap to require this as part of stone.

  10. I think that's a neat idea but highly unnecessary. They don't weigh much, only issue is inventory space. What if someone trolls you or accidentally consumes all the blueprints, people will get salty and bitchy. That person will then have to be on if they plan to create the contents of the blueprint. What about blueprints that require different structures to be crafted in?
  11. Fast aggressive alphas is all you can complain about in this game but that goes towards the argument that wolves, lions, and tigers move too fast. You need armor to withstand a beating but you can't move fast enough with armor to get anywhere. I think you should continue to investigate more efficient ways of dispatching alphas such as trapping them in a pen with a ramp and no way out. Place a swivel gun and load it up with grape shots = ez mode = ez xp = cost effective compared to armor breaking or arrows/guns -If they nerf the difficulty, expect nerfing the xp along with it. I like where it's at, you just need to think of better ways to dispatch your alphas.
