If u are near alpha horses they will agro you and kill u really fast. This is without hitting or anything just for it being in your vicinity. Is it deliberate or a bug?

The alphas are out of control. I am sick of taming and re-taming and re-taming yet again all our beasts because stupidly OP alphas keep glitching inside our fully enclosed animal pen. It has a roof and all and filly foundationed but they still spawn inside. There level's are also stupidly nuts. With wild beast max level being around level 30 why are alphas spawning at around 300 max? That is a STUPIDLY HIGH boost they are getting. Least in ARK they followed the same level ranges as normal dinos and had a bit of a stat boost, they were still a threat if you were not preped for them but could be managed with a good enough tame or three. But the stat increase these alphas in atlas are getting from 30 normal to 300 is HUGE even without any stat boosts. And when you get 2,3 even 5 spawning in your area wtf are you to do?! Our mate just wasted 15 bombs and died 4 times trying to kill a single alpha snake, and there were still 2 more happily eating all our tames with nothing we could really do to stop them. As he stated in discord and I quote: "yeah, it took me 15 grenades to kill that snake, and 4 deaths!! and I am lvl 51!!! The alphas are not in a good, fun state right now. and seeing the rino and elephant die with nothing I could really do about was a tad frustrating." Tone down the spawn rate and level range of the alphas on normal islands. With the high nerf to fire arrows damage we have NOTHING to defend against them outside trying to aggro them and run like max hoping to lour them away. Because this is so freaking stupid seeing all these super OP alphas and having not a hope in the world to really do anything against them.

hi i have been playing in madness island for 3 weeks i thought its an issue and will be sloved but its the same and even getting worse the island is full of all kinds of alphas and it spown 2 or 3 of the same kind u see 3 or more alpha wolf or lion vaulture or so ever in totally normal there was able to make some pictures note every tame there died :(

Alpha Creatures I can understand the idea of having rare and powerful creatures roaming the islands, giving players a chance for good experience and an abundance of their normal materials, however at the moment, they seem way too powerful. They outright do obscene amount of damage compared to the members of their normal species, often killing you in one or two hits. The health they possess is so great that most weapons are effectively useless against them, and the only thing I've experience consistently works are fire arrows, and often a few of them. Always having to rely on the same tactic; Find the alpha, if it did not find you Make fire arrows Find a spot close to its location, where you can climb/jump an object it can not Bait the alpha there and then finally burn it to death. You can't really contest them in the open world, and this in combination with the fact that they spawn so frequently you can end up with multiple within the same view-distance just makes them tedious content. Suggestion I would love the scenario where, you encounter an alpha and experience a small sense of joy, because in front of you there is this rare creature, which you do not see every day, which if killed will give you a good chunk of experience and some sort of loot. So you call in some friends and together you go hunt for it, starting at its last seen location. I want to fight an alpha, a stronger than normal individual of their type, not a deity possessing an animal. I assume that one of the reasons the alphas are so absurdly strong is due to their level, but I can't know for sure, so my suggestion is; Reduce alphas strength to be around a level 50 - 75 "wild animal" of their species. They would still be strong individuals but not overly powerful Reduce their spawn rate, so it aligns with 5-10% of the current one, making them more elusive and rare Increase the experience you receive from attacking and killing them by 200-250%, due to lower spawn rates the reward goes up. These changes would still make keep the alphas stronger, than the normal spawning animals, of their species, but not in a way where an alpha rabbit can take on a wolf. Remember its still just a rabbit.

This has gotten ridiculous. On our small, very small, island, we have alpha snakes, wolves and vultures that spawn almost every 20 minutes. Most of the time all together. I can currently see 2 alpha vultures and 2 alpha giant snakes just within my render. It makes the game unplayable. This is a regular island, things should not overspawn this much and keep you from doing something as basic as farming trees. This needs fixed and soon.

so we lost all our tames this night.... seems the wolves are still glitching inside walls and killing all your tames when you are offline they where behinde big stone gates and our elephant even whas having his owne pen so the alpha wolf glitched trou 1 big gate to get to the first group of tames and then trou a other gate to the elephant and you guys say >> we fixed the wolf<< ???realy where??? they still glitch inside bases and kill tames / people and when you fight with them they jump like frogs and yesterday i got even launched into the air and almoste fall to my death and now i can spend hours replacing my tames just to find them dead tomorrow again?? fix those wolfs ASAP and there stupid instand respawning when you have 1 dead can spend hours and hours on this shit way of taming all for nofhing -.-"
