The same in Conan Exiles. The reason that i stay in Atlas despite these horrible devs, who invest their time into „cats“ and „quality of life - mega companys & streamers!only“ is ships and pirate setting, which i just love. Maybe they should think about the reasons, why these 10-players-max-tribe servers in ARK are that popular.

Just my 2 cents : I „hoard“ ships in my drydocks during 2x and hoard maps for 2x weekends. This is stupid. Better would be a „general“ 2x setup for the official servers. A general „1x“ setup would be also ok, but the increase just for the weekends is a motivation killer. I vote for same conditions for everybody at any time !

Concerning DP : The reason that i play Atlas and not Ark is, that people need time to raid. You have to harvest, build ships sail to your target, lay siege. This means efforts in terms of time consumption. In Ark you fly with your dragon in , pew pew, game over. Instant raids Death porting only helps. If your death port base contains all siege stuff. If not it is just a help in terms of scouting. But i agree, DP should be limited to the grit. I would even agree to limit it to the same island+ships close. Even “only one bed per company“ or lets say, as many beds as the company has players + 2 would be ok. Sailing would become more meaningful and really turn Atlas into a persistant pirate world where travel is the key. At the moment i build one-way throw-away schooners on my outpost islands to haul resources to my main base. It would consume more time to sail back and forth. This is comfortable, but obviously not ok. Maybe „fixed bind point“, must be changable, could be the solution ?

Ähmm, are you living in some parallel universe, dear Mr. author ? Your ships are sunk if someone wants them to be sunk. It does not matter if you build stone gates (half of a broadside..game over), it does not matter if you place puckle, gun or whatever turrets. You wont even scratch the outer hull of the raiders. Stone walls of any kind are ridiculous, a few grenades out of a free climbers backpack or a nice cannon placed directly offline in front of your base.. directly game over. Pets ? Oh my god.. pets are auto-history in the moment you tame them. You cant even bring them into -relative- safety into a high rock base but have to store them on the ground inside of some shelter = see grenades & cannons. Recently Grapeshot frankly showed their ugly face very open : Any mega company can wipe any solo player on „their“ island with just a push on a button. Directly game over for ALL of your assets on that island. The once free ATLAS world turned into a socialism. Exactly what is actually happening to our countries. In this respect, Grapeshot shows some realism by killing players freedom piece by piece, indeed. I beg you, please wake up and face reality ! -
Well these Grapeshot/Wildcard devs never did anything else for small companies but locking them out from content, restricting their gameplay and setting them into a disadvantage vs mega companies. This is just the next mega patch... only with benefit to mega companies. Now with the possibility to LOLstomp all players on an island for just 12.000. PAY TO WIPE Not surprised.

Dear devs, if you really, opposite to my expectations, fix the silo and work for the players instead of developing new stuff as toys for bored-to-death streamers and mega companies : Please also let the silo work for bases in the water and defence towers in the harbour. These count as „not on the island“ and NPC there dont take food or gold from the silo.

It would be nice to work also on tames, but main issue is, that it is not working for harbour cannon crews and defence tower cannon crews built in the water. -

Dear devs, thanks for not locking the silo behind the 5th ice dungeon, really your first pro-player patch since december. Yes it is big, ok, i can live with that. But the silo is not working for NPC in harbour bases and defence towers in the water, as these seem not to count as „on the island“. Can you please patch a solution for that ? Also strange that you can place only berries in the silo as food. Suggestion : Please make the silo also work for tames (pets). If you do that i promise you a week free of dev bashing from my side

any hints how to make ice in the desert ? A guy whom i raided had some ice in his box. I placed one in my base, but it did not produce ice and another one under water in my harbor, but this one did produce ice neither. Any advice for a fellow pirate ?

Pets are ok, but please pets that can be tamed by everybody, like when Atlas started, not like now new stuff only for gangbang superheroes, who are not able to solo anything. I tried ARK again, but really had to vermin. Mega companies in Atlas are really no problem compared to ARK, where Iron Man (TEK superman) is hunting beach bobs from the air with his plasma rifle. And in ARK all metal bases are raided, in Atlas i only take minor damage, as the megas are too lazy to send their mythical galleons after me. But back to the topic, good suggestions ! New dingy, kanoe. And specialized new ships. Maybe a frigate, that has many cannons but limited weight for transport ? And an east indian merchant ship, that is clumsy but has tons of weight ? Focus on ships please, as Atlas is a game about ships !

Instead of new underwater pets that only can be tamed by level 846534 mega company members i suggest new ships for that... ship game ? Maybe something between raft and sloop, that can be sailed by a single person and is faster than the bigger ships ?

Fully agree, of course you earn a shitstorm from all these mega company would-be half gods (who cry like chicken when facing a foe solo) but this is the truth, the full truth and nothing but the truth. A nice pirate game concept is killed by streamer and mega company fans at devs side. Very sad. This game can be saved the same way that saved ARK : Small company servers, 6 players max, no alliances, no Kraken & Ice Dungeon barriers for engrams and stuff. -

Well, lets face the truth : Atlas was a 50k shooting star in december and 5k with declining tendency actually. Even a hardcore pirate fan like me did load ARK again yesterday. ARK devs are not perfect,but dont steer the ship directly to the iceberg, like super-fail Grapeshot is doing. SmallTribe servers will do, 6 players max with no alliances sounds good for a mega company hater. -

Well, i rule my cluster and the neighbor clusters at will. I live in lawless with some defenses which hold against random noobs, certainly not against a mega tribe strike. Server number 2 once raided me and actually found 700 of my gold. Claim islands wont offer more protection than lawless, mega tribes own millions of grenades, they wont need 9 hours to completely destroy someone. And if they do they can certainly afford a war token. I would go back to Ark, where i always have been a pirate as well, but the raft-eating whale there killed piracy -

The current „pay to own“ claim system is killing ATLAS, just follow the declining numbers of players. The old system was much better as you were allowed to own just a piece of a big island for free.

.... meanwhile you have more or less free choice if you want to become an island owner, even in temperate and tropical biomes. The old claim systems was much better.
