  1. Yes and glad I did buy it, imo the games doing fine and im liking (thou not always agreeing with) the changes and work thier putting into it. Honestly got pretty much what I expected if not a bit more from these devs thus far.
  2. May want to rethink that strategy, sooner or later the ban stick is going to fall and don't fool yourself into thinking they don't know who's using what. What these folk exploiting are doing is finding the holes the devs need to close so even thou its a pain in the butt thier helping in the long run.

  5. I believe if anchored in your claim they take less time damage, but could be wrong as ive never tested it and generally have npc crew repairing when ever anchored anyway.
  6. Needs to be on a certian depth shelf to anchor, to far out or to close to shore it wont (need the second depth shelf to anchor it and its "funky" Haven't had the same problem with any other ship.
  7. We upgraded 4 common flintlocks that were created from a bp. To be honest the added damage really wasn't worth the mats but hey every bit helps.
  8. Hardest ship iI have found to anchor so far is a brig. Sloop, schooner, and galleon ive had no probs with but that damn brig....
  9. Thier late because there not ready. Rather they delay it and punch it out in at least a partially working state heh
  10. It does if you have crew assigned to the sails. Holding left shift and A D turn them WS raise/lower
  11. There is a button on the left hand side of the inventory that turns that on and off, try that if you already haven't. Pretty sure theres a key that does it to but for the life of me I can't rember which. Have had the same problem but just turning it back on in the inventory works for me.
  12. Unseat them from any position and have them not following while anchored. They should start a sweeping animation. as long as you have resources in the box you keep the gold in to pay them. (possible you may need to be in your own claim but I haven't tested this).
  13. Take it you didn't EA Ark. All they did was archive the old servers and opened up new. (Thou someone did say very early ark they did wipe) but I doubt they will this one, just archive it once released and add new. Spose it is possible thou notta from the devs on it that I know of.
  14. Just think once you hit a hundred you'll be able to say to new players. Why when i was you age we had to deal with things like cros the size of elephants that could eat you right off the middle of your boat below deck without even putting a hole in the ship, and you rember that tale of the boy that cried wolf, well anyone that didn't cry wolf at the time was dead from em...boy those were the days, not this land lubbering safty you all have today. ect
  15. Dare you to sail in the red and get close to a SotD. You'll still need to tack ect, but I am suprised they changed it myself as i Personally found it pretty balanced the way it was.
  16. Get a carbine, couple flintlocks, jump on a rock and blow it to hell. I agree the alphas are a lil to common atm but they really arnt that hard to kill
  17. Doubt they will wipe. More likly just open new servers once a lot of the problems are fixed. Welcome to the test server All wildcard did with ark was archive the old servers and opened new and let the old die. Was accually pretty damn smart on thier part but sucked for the ppl that were established on the old ones.
  18. Dont see the problem here. Just have them pay you for the usage. I'd personally be worried about letting random ppl into the company thou myself. But its a good suggestion to allow "rent" of a ship yard so maybe post that in suggestions.
  19. Kinda liked the wtf moment when i ran into that alpha monkey. Ido agree they seem a bit to common but removing them i don't agree with.

    Agree with this if the people are being rational (either way liking/disliking stuff) Constructive conversations go a long way to helping the devs develop these games. Rants and hate posts just make them not even bother looking at the forums (and I don't blame them).
  21. The 0 slot thing isnt needed , ive done maps in slots 4 thru 0 ands they all worked
  22. Dont have to have the map in slot 0 can be in any slot. Once on the right island and near the x youll see a red light pillar (like the blue for your dead body) and damned spawn. Need to kill all of them before you can use the shovel to dig the box up. Is possible youll have the same type of islands on the same map so you may of just been on the wrong island. Can also lv a skill that lets you see the red pillar easier.
