  1. 1. Right now the only way to effectly play the game is using fire arrows, either alone or with oir jars. We 100% need more GOOD weapon options for melee, ranged, consumables (glaive, axes, Crossbows, harpoons, sleep gas, etc) so that there can be other ways to play the game that dont pigeon hole everyone into burning the world down. For pve encounters we particularly need those that are effective underwater. Are you planning to add these in the future and how far out is that on your roadmap of updates? 2. Animal balance is kind of haywire right now. Are there any plans to adjust the predator spawn rates or stats to make them more manageable (particularly the alphas)? Are tamed creatures going to receive appropriate buffs to make them able to deal with alphas? Currently theres no point in having a tame on an island that has alpha predators since they one shot practically everything. 3. As per your steam description, this game is supposed to be an RPG among its other genres. As long time gamers we know, as im sure you do as well, it takes more than a skill tree to call a game an RPG. Will there be more PvE content released in the near future? Things like roaming quest npcs or randomly spawning PvE events on islands or out at sea (im not counting SotD since they are moreso glorified predator creatures than ships. they cant be boarded, you cant break components, they are either alive and attacking or dead).
  2. Yes for weapons tool and armor it MAY be worthwhile. Ignore the nonsense this peggy person started and just look at my original post. I dont have a problem spending huge amounts of time gathering. My issue that some people cant seem to understand is that the reward is not appropriate to the time spent. (and also the intelligence stat is kinda trash)

  4. I'm generally not a "take the high road" kinda person and while I have 0 qualms stooping to whatever low an adversary decides to take it i can assure you this isn't it lol. There is a catalog of "colorful" language I could have used but I made my points multiple times and quite clearly without calling anyone names or tossing out swears like confetti. Also, if that's all it takes for you to not agree then you probably never really did in the first place
  5. How you still don't understand is a mystery to me. You remind me of the guy who can't wrap his head around a ton of feathers weighing the same as a ton of bricks. I'll try to break out down simply for you one last time. For simplicity sake let's say the time it takes to make a legendary wall (x5) is 5 times that of a standard wall. Obviously It's waaay longer due to travel but lets just say 5. And judging by the masterwork and journeyman bps let's say that legendary wall has 200% durability. If it took you 30 hrs to fully double wall your base that would be a total of 400% for 30hrs. If you spent that same 30hrs layering basic stone walls you would have a total of 1000% durability. This scale on forever so you saying "well you can just double wall legendaries" means nothing. You will always end up better of with basic structures instead of high tier structures unless they improve how blue prints work

But yea, extra hostile and the constant name calling and swearing is a clear indication of the inability to a make an argument. I honestly don't know why someone would be so butt hurt over a post they don't agree with
  7. I don't understand how you come to the conclusion having to acquire multiple types of resources isn't just grinding and farming... even more confused how you equate that with depth and quality..

  10. Criticizing a bad system that I believe should change isn't crying. You clearly are missing the point of the post if you think my base is what I'm concerned about. The only one crying here is you. If you don't like what I'm saying don't read the post and take your bitching elsewhere because honestly your comment only serves to show you have nothing better to do than whine about someone else's criticism.
  11. Yea apparently it's totally worthless. I expected a 10-15% increase at a minimum. Don't invest in intelligence you'll just be gimping yourself
  12. Ok. So i tried again today with a different blueprint... got a 1.3% crafter bonus... really? 1.3%? I have over 200 int. This is absurd
  13. each of the biomes not having a certain resource is enough reason to promote cross-biome trading. I think its more so the latter... Although this is technically feedback, unless more people regularly express their distaste for the system as it is, i fear it might get buried under the litany of other issues people are having . I really wish i could say it wasnt true :[
  14. it might make them a little better but until the multi resource thing is removed its still just a massive waste of time. also im not concerned at all about riding.
  15. Am i the only one that thinks the blueprint system is complete garbage? I dont understand how or why the system as it is now was green lit. Needing several different types of the same material to make marginally better crafts absurd, Not being able to use the blueprint without the skill makes them almost entirely worthless, and to make it worse they have limited uses. i picked up a journeyman stone wall BP and thought "oh! this will be good to make better defenses for my base", only to be met with this terrible tooltip that doesnt explain at all what # X ## means. After 2 hours and finally discovering what it means i cant help but be disappointed and angry. i invested HEAVILY into intelligence hoping to craft some awesome blueprints and now knowing the time investment to make anything slightly better is just not worth it is demoralizing. Why spend 8 hours ferrying around mass quantities of materials from 3 different biomes for slightly improved walls that i wouldnt have enough uses to apply to the whole base? For the time investment to gather those materials i could stay on my island and add another layer of stone walls to my entire base. Hell, maybe even 2 layers. Not saying you should revert back to Ark BPs but this blueprint system needs an overhaul because their value is practically non existent when considering the cost (material and more importantly time).
