  1. I have never once been bitten by a shark when getting stuff out of my freezer. modern conveniance ftw.
  2. Because of you own observation bias in not noticing the whining of pvp players or recognizing it as such. Because you identify with these players, you tend to categorize their whining as legitimate gripes and the complaints of pve players as whining. Whether something is whining or a legitimate gripe is a highly subjective distinction heavily influenced by biases of the one making it.
  3. hrm.... How fair is it to not read the entire post and then make a statement that is obviously passing judgement on the poster (I meet people like you all the time..). If you're gonna pass judgements on what kind of person he is, basing those judgements on a single sentence (your own post heavily implies this was all you bothered to read btw) is kind of the definition of a knee jerk response. Also, if you can't be bothered to read his post, why should he bother to read your response?
  4. Your idea. You go explain to the Middle East why they should start using the temperature system of the "Great Satan" Just wear lots of kevlar when you do, and take protection, preferably in the form of M1 Abrams main battle tanks. Also I'd take air support too.
  5. Maybe try crafting a new grill and see if that works? If Badkebab is confirming that he can make dye in his, maybe it's just a question of your grill not updating properly or something?
  6. It's all really just about what you're used to. My longest running internet friend lives north of you in Sasketchewan and she sends me texts in January and Feb. saying things like "High today -38 C" Sounds pretty @#%$ing cold to me. I get her back in August when I say stuff like "humidity here today 4000%"
  7. Your first sentence sounds eminently sensible and a great guess I would never have come up with. Your second sentence makes my head aspload.
  8. Ehhhh, in an EA product I am more okay with putting stuff out there initially and then tweaking it based on playtesting, like the whole icebox thing.
  9. Lol, sounds good to me, but yeah, the main thing is the icebox needs to work a little better and making it produce ice at a more realistic temp, be that 32 F or 28 F (remember, the rest of the world uses metric, which imo, we should be too), would be both those things.
  10. I stand corrected. Bug fixes are indeed slower.
  11. Fresh water freezes at 32 degrees. Salt water does not. If they wanted to make it realistic, at what temperature the water freezes would depend on whether you got it from a fresh or salt water source. Per the NOAA, saltwater freezes at about 28.4 degrees. (I always said 28.45319876, but those jerks at the NOAA are lazy and just round off. Bunch of savages I say).
  12. Lower dps when rate of fire is taken into account. Hate to even ask but all other factors are the same right? quality, target etc?
  13. Udo still consistently has the coolest avatars on the boards. That is all. Carry on.
  14. *looks at the thing that he’s pretty sure is an otter in TRQ’s avi* *looks back at Hexaron* This just isn’t your day is it? Oh and Perci is right. If you don’t think what you were doing was complaining, then you and I have a different understanding of what the word means. Its an almost on time update. Relax. Enjoy.
  15. If you’re in Hawaii and investing meaningful time in video games, then imho U R doin it rong.
  16. Wrong. The slowest moving object in the game hands down is updates. This one received a massive buff and was only one day late, but beard growth is still slower than the dingy. Not by much, but still slower.
  17. The joke. It was subtle. But not that subtle. Missed it you did.
  18. ...is that it was only a single day late from its announced release window of May. As someone who has criticized Grapecard repeatedly in the past for their failure to release almost anything on time, this is a pleasant surprise. Hopefully it is a sign they are becoming better organized and more effective in their work. If so it could signal that a corner has been turned and real improvement of the development process is underway. Nothing is guaranteed of course, but this is a welcome positive sign. @Jatheish et al, thanks for beating expectations. The bar has been raised this time instead of lowered. No pressure.
  19. You must not be familiar with Mark Twain, since one of his better known quotations is this: "There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics." Can I has ur stuffz when you move to your moon mountain bunker?
  20. *Looks up when his name is mentioned.* Ididntdoit. Nobodysawmedoit. Youcantproveanything.
  21. Yes but you can’t keep score in either.
  22. I liked this thread better when it was about cats and furniture. Who’s the lame brain that wanted to talk about the implications of spam anyway?
  23. *blinks* kids? oh you mean those little stupid people who don’t pay rent? Nah I don’t have any of those. They are a wonderful thing for other people to have.
