  1. Lulz... i just did not check the forum for 2 weeks now and nothing happened. The wipe does not come so far... now it's announced that it will not be wiped until end of April. Some weeks ago there where huge ship battle videos on youtube because PvP Players started to get rid of what they had crafted in this season. This new map must be awesome and i guess all islands templates will be reworked... we will get a complete new Atlas... i am so exited!!!! 1111 (well Maelstorm was just a changed layout of the templates where you look on a former coal rock, hold H and it shows a crystal but you farm a gem) Well so yes Devs take your time and surprise us with a new map that you tested and which will have no main bugs. I don't care if there will be some issues with the ground/surface that you can fall through it or such things common in the unreal map engine. I am also very exited to see if you can fix/improve the lawless land claiming. If you can fix that decay timers will be shown correctly. If there is no 12 hours decay time on structures anymore. If you will fix gathering building BPs work as intended(increaed farming rate and not stopping at common weight when this is increased). I would appreciuate if you could set/choose the farming rate of the different resources in a farmhouse. I also would appreciate if a compnay would only have 1 farmhouse per island which would include the warehouse and alllow more players access to this one due to this change. I would appreciate if you could improve the markets QoL and adjust it that there is no need to demolish the market once you have send more than 90 trading invitations. I still don't have trading logs since the lawless claim patch and the buffer overflow issues... where is the hot ifx? I could talk about Dolphin taming but i found out lately once you have a submarine you can kill all sharks around and than grapple the Dolphin for a wild taming ride. Got 4 of them so it's actually working. But Dolphins can't swim backwards so for fish farming i am using a bear instead of a dolphin because you can't harvest the fish after killing... All my Dolphins are parked under water in a shark safe cage but due to their turning radius and only forward swiming i can't place them up in the water. Luckily they don't need to breath. So this are only bugs about the latest updates that are not getting fixed or improved so far and only considering the PVE part... so not to mention older bugs which list is still very long for example BPs Drop rate and quality... i spend about 40 hours in Golden Age to get an improved ship for Kraken fights but i ended up with a masterwork ship... no legendary or mystical parts(and if found some with no worthy stats better than my masterwork) but all resources for crafting available. But yes, I am exited what you can show us after another 1,5 month of silence. Btw. some where you posted that your Community Managers will not log into their forum accounts after they did the first post @Nami@Chismebeard... so maybe you log into the Atlas Developer Account and answer sometime here and just simply putting your name below the answer?
  2. @George Catcherthank you for trading with me further on. After i demolished my market you are simply the only trading partner i got so far but we are permanently running about 200 trade ships so gold income is great. The start of our trading was not that good until i explained that you can trade for all types and that you can set up a circle shipment of the resources instead of taking out my lightwood from your warehouse to safe it on your side for example.(only gold generation trading) You get the parrot eggs, ingots some wood type and gems by default when your ships encounter some generic event during the journey. But after the last patch the trade log is still not available = no hot fix by the Devs. But this works well as you trade in circles but you get additional resources and gold from this events. Like you get dark and iron wood which would be difficult (the old effort) to collect it yourself and transport it yourself. And this is the main issue i see so far. I log in daily 1-3 times to start the farmhouses.(in the morning as i am working in homeoffice xD) But Devs did have plenty of time now but again there are no fixes to implemented stuff... but they all working on the new map layout starting with the known bugs again. I use 2 stone farmhouses myself and they are running on 0,3/0,4 speed. They stop after max 4 hours already but they are also collecting berrys and herbs... my lumberyard is out of the range of the warehouse... so i have there a chest with 400k wood and thatch... My lumberyard is a BP but even i have increased capacity it can only farm up to 10k weight -> BUG I even think it does not have an improved gather rate either... but i will not test this. So basically after testing lots of trading and seeing still plenty of Bugs and no improvements to the farmhouses and warehouses i am like all PVE Players just simply keeping up the stuff doing nothing in the game = i am not playing this game^^ Well at least i did the Power Stones and Kraken v1 with a masterwork Brigantine solo in 2 days. Oh i just remember that i got 3 crabs and also about 60 squid legs so i could buy the Kraken ship to test it out.
  3. the important point is that you play on blackwood. Even blackwood is a official map it was developed by only one person(no Grape Shot team member) and had several bugs. It was never finished so biomes and temperature etc may not work as intended [...] you will not find any fish on that map...

Thanks for the nice day in Atlas.... 7x Hydra killed, 9 Powerstones finished and just going back to my homgrid with my lvl 45 ship with 0 cannon balls on board... let me guess it will get sunk with 1x Tiger and 4 Bears... 3x good large handling sails BPs and some nice planks and gun ports BPs... and cannon BPs.... and... btw. my market in H7 is still showing over 200 trades that where never delivered around the patch... like there i had 14k gold a day and after patch max 2k....
  6. well Devs should actually improve the market surface. Also It's only allowing you to accept 5 trades but it's not showing this anywhere. But if you send others invites and they can still accept you can have more than 5 trade routes. If you send more than ~90 invites you can't send any new anymore until you destroy the market and replace it. You can't delete marktes from your list so you may get space to send new invites. So with some luck you find good partners or have already allies areound you which want to trade with you. If you want to sort the routes you can move them up or down in the list... but only one step each time... new trades will be placed at the lowest point... so 90x clicking to move them up...
  7. @Ranger1k i think i can't agree with you. On Freeport normal gameplay is not possible. You can find there PvP Players that are tired of griefers and just safe their stuff there... it's kind of abusing this area. Also features like safe ship anchoring with a timer or something similar is not considered by the devs. This is the thing on PvP... players try to find everything they can benefit from. If you mix the PVE and PvP grids all PvP Players will build their base in PVE, build and park their ships there and head out to hunt everbody in the PvP Zone... it will simply not work because Players will abuse this. Grief when they can and hide when they must. It's toxic and it's called PvP what makes Players believe everything possible is allowed and only the own "fun" is important. Destroying another Players 2 month of fun well next please... You can't fix grief because there are to many Players out there that are not capable of a real headson fight... they simply grow up with offline griefing. When i started playing online with diablo II you goz online to trade rear equipment or to play with others. You could activate PvP and even then Players did not grief your stuff when they killed you. Counter Strike and those games you had always to face your enemy... but this survival "Ark" kids nowadys they play different... they did not learn to share the first PC with 3 brothers and they did not learn to play split screen on one keyboard.
  8. interessting opinions about PVE here... I played 1,5k hours or even more on PvP and every thing i learned there was red = dead. How do you really think that PVE Players want to join this toxic (ark) community of offline raiders(griefers)? A Player who choose PVE does not want to have conflicts with other players while playing, but maybe he wants good interactions with others. How do you think players could trade resources or tames or BPs? Remeber red = dead... there is no role play on PvP. You can't move there with your ship around. Ok, on PVE there are some trolls aroudn who learn the game and can't survive in PvP mode but want to play that (it's a pirate game). But it's still a Ark modification of a survival game with tames and ships. I for myself do not mind to have ship combat but actually i only play PVE because i hate barrels, i hate cannon horses and every kind of land fighting... and this is permanently happening on PvP. You go sleep and nothing is safe... all your ships can sink over night etc. I lost my fun playing this on PvP. And don't forget safe base only on top of the highest pillar = total pain to move resources from your ships etc... But Mr. Solo Chucksteack never joining a company of course wants to have PVE Players doing shit stuff for him... or easy targets he can grief.(it's not personal but a good example i think)
  9. @chukiki here is some lesson how to drive a Galleon vs. 1 shooner... you don't need to fear it. But watch out if there is an expirienced brig captain... and some stupid Barrels... so the Brig can cut the sails with bar shots but it can't sink a galleon at the same time if the Galleon does not loose complete sails. This Brig captain did a fantastic job using the wind in his advantage against one of the most expirienced Galleon captains streaming Atlas PvP for years now. The Brig did not make any mistakes and avoided all broadsides of that Galleon Lvl 60 with best BPs possible to find right now. So it's not a shame for you to sink vs one shooner but you better train your skills. I hope this videos will help you finding the failure on your side than blaming the game for your faults. *well post does not reach you because you set me on ignore... but ok it's your issue xD
  10. This was a bug introduced with the latest patch. They stopped the trade logs to fix it after the update lauch 523.8-9. But they also sayed that you will not see lawless claims on the map in a server grid that you are not inside... but this did not work... 1 week of silence to this... no trade logs... now/yesterday trades where not delivered anymore and the market showed 30-50 open trades to partners instead of usual 10-15. So actually the trades themselves overload the servers... for example PVE H7 and connected servers are down right now... or still running but without players.
  11. Haha lol. Good job you succesfully offline raided somebody and stole his galleon full of his best breeding tames? Well done... in 40 minutes(considering you are poor with 0 gold) you may deleted 1000hours of work from maybe several players who bread this horses and spend hours in taming the best stats possible. But unlucky you the game did not allow you to use all this horses for yourself. Go cry. If you feel this succesfully and think the Devs do follow your suggestions... well you have pirated this game and everybody will abandone it... YARRR Best joke i've seen long time.... i have a galleon ... i have the biggest stick.... BUUUHHH i got outplayed by a shooner which even did not commit barrels to you.... just get some skill and respect for others. Maybe your galleon was overweight, was level 0 and the shooner leveld over days, build in a mystical shipyard with mystical planks and guns... but yeah BUUUHHH it was still a shooner
  12. Well thank you Devs for Posting the Q&A at least in this forum. But it would be great if you actually would also read the answers... or even the complains before the latest patch(that one week later fuck*ed everybody on PVE). No wonders your questions are that worse selected.... on Discord you have daily 10k spam messages... nobody can read them all and nobody can collect that information to find out what players want. You may focus on PvP but this PvP gameplay got my health down that i needed a 5 month brake from it... but still love it somehow... but actually playing PVE because my ships are (mostly) safe there. I would not mind a good sea battle known as a mighty captain of Season 3 but throw my Ship for 3 Barrels.... Well i tried taming Dolphin but this fishes always swim away so every feeding is red... i will not tame a crocodile.... PvP Meta is still fast horses... it's like playing a super haevy tank vs. wheel tanks and arta in the game "World of Tanks"... but you can bait every 10 seconds LOL You "remove" any award of the Booses(Yeti) because of a little exploit that happened to bad codeing and could be easy fixed. Just give the Kraken Fight an Option to choose between V1 and V2... that's all players need. If you don't want to focus on changing this it's ok... it's your game but at least as long this bosses are in the game you should get 3-5 Lvl Ups from killing one of them. Yeti needs a large group to complete but it's ok. Solos can do Kraken if they prepare well. Also the Dragons nobody really wants to fight them...(Only usefull weapon is the carabine - balistas miss 90% of their shots) I just went whale hunting to get both skills but after completing there is 0 reason to hunt a whale anymore... maybe you should get an additional taming buff if you achieve 50 or 100 spearm whale kills? That would be cald a progressing skill. Devs just listen and fix the most important bugs... we appreciate if you create new things... but in the meantime let us have some fun playing the game to test it for you without getting any pay therefore. And you know yourself... the current islands are not good in many cases... do not rearange them in the map(like maelstorm)... fix them before you do that. Don't mix the vegetation zones with the stone/metal zones. The first map was much better. Trading should work over 3-4 grids and you should be allowed to accept more than 5 trades. If you cancel trades they should be removed from your list. After 90 invites you can't invite other markets anymore ... you need to destroy market. Fix the Blue Prints! Just today i got a legendary Balista with 103% damage and 168% durability(that's grey for me and straight going back into the water)... again no large sails better than blue found in golden age after 8 hours and 1,6k cannon balls fired.(remove mid size sails or change/buff them and allow shooners only to have mid sails - there is no reason to place them actually) 3 Galleons Lvl 52+ dropped only gold and amunition without any BPs!
  13. the cargo can be destroyed from wild animals if nothing else is working... let a lion or cobra bite your bear in the ass xD Sharks are also working well.
  14. I just discovered yesterday evening some neigbours of me had not placed their towers correctly so even now some farms, warehouses and even bases change their owner if not covered by the towers. There is now one guy owning the warehouse while another took the 3 farms around xD. Also some structures have 40 days decay while other did go poof after 12h into the patch.... The biggest issue about this is that Devs do not give anymore information and again there is complete silence here in the forum. I still can't believe feedback from one Discord channel with daily 10k posts(80% bullshit and private messages) is actually the way Devs want to receive feedback? Who the f**k can read all 10k messages daily and sort them into an good discussion?
  15. @Rossco Yes this is on some islands the case. Most often it is on some lone pillars in the water where you want to place Mortars and protect those with some puckles... there are still lots of failures in the island data. As Maelstorm map did not change the islands but only changed the layout of the regions this bugs are still out there since the beginning of the game. We may get new islands with the comming new map.(Maybe next wipe)
  16. I feel with you. Sometimes it's possible that you can speak to the claimer and he give it back to you. Some claimed the structures of their neighbours in purpose of beeing a true hero and safe their stuff. But you could also be unlucky and got robbed. If so be consequent and drop the game... blame the Devs for this shit and let them kill the game.
  17. well i named my company Trade Route Tester and that is what i do in the game. I log in everyday and look if i make 3k or 15k gold with trades. I have two farms running and a warehouse so all i need in Atlas. The luberyard i captured is outside my warehouse area but it gathers me a galleon of wood in 7 days. In only need to transfer it with several runs on my bear to the base. I even did not build a large Shipyard yet but i have already 90k gold. Which means i searched for a spot about two weeks. Once i settle i do not have any limits. I get that much cannon balls from trading i even do not need to craft them
  18. The concept of PVE grids and a few PvP works well on private servers with rules and admins. But you guess what will happen if this would be the official server? Land fight PvPers would be very bored because they all settle themselfes in the PVE area and try to attack everybody on the PvP zones. As this leads to no settlers on the PvP grids they camp the PvP grids with their ships... if the PvP grids are the golden Age and Kraken Grid... you guess it.... no content for PVE because you never go their surviving... it's a total grief. Even the largest Megas will not place their main base on the PvP grids to defend themselves from everybody everyday. @George Catcher your ideas of so many different ships are good but i think not possible in this game. If this would be a naval combat simulation yes, but it is a copy of a survival taming game with added ships as a new focus(pirate theme). So we already know Devs have lots of issues designing the ships in this modular planks style. It would be very difficult to implement so many sails option customizable on so many different hulls. It looks easy but it all nees to be programmed. The current ship sails are all independended to each other for a good reason. You can exchange them and putt sails like you want but it looks not like realistic sails. Between some of your ships designs are 200-300 years of development. So if we would have so many ship options it would be only possible with buying complete ship from a vendor and ships only have a total health and no planks to destroy or repair. It would be very different style with no customization than the cannons maybe to replace. Also no front of back facing cannon towers possible etc. Concept of Blue prints would need to change as well... and we would have to wait like 3 years to get the ships implemented... costs for ships could still work with resources and improved ship stats based on BPs and several materials used. But how to differ those designs in trading/transport and combat ships as well? Well games like Valheim offer some single player content but i tink not all players of Atlas like that theme and graphics. Also it has a little Co-Op but far different to MMO(RPG). New World can be the massive player drain from Atlas in combination with those worse updates. However Last Oasis was not able to do so. I for myself would have never started Atlas after watching let's plays seeing this worse UI in the first place. Also first impressions of New World Gameplay(Beta) looked very weird to me with those quests in the starter area. And New World is only land combat(I hate the most in Atlas)... there are no ships...
  19. Just imagine the amount of players that bought this game for Xbox because of the PVE content. It's a game that lot's of girls play because of huge PVE content. Even on PvP there are lots of girls... i guess much more compared to common shooter games. Lot's of fathers that take their young childs into this Pirate game which is not a human killing simulator in PVE.
  20. The good news... You do not need to make treasure maps in this game except for leveling. But you do not need the gold and you do not need the rare Blue Prints for shipyards... common shipyard with max level 50+ is all you need... I have now 72k gold in less than one week. 35k by trades, 32k by robbing a bank and the rest from sunken treasures, whales(for quest) and some SotD.

  22. The servers are running quiete decent because they turned off the trading logs. Why do they always add patches straight before weekend? Implement stuff... watch reviews collected during the weekend to know what to do for the next week? Latest patch should have turned off visibility of claims outside your server but that is not the case. It is still visible in the inventory map. Even the game itself was announced at Christmas 2018... this timing seams to be favorized by Grape Shot. As long the Towers do not give your structures any offline protection they are useless... if you do not build them your structures auto decay in 12h now. If you build them somebody destroys them and steal your base... so you have to place them in your base but than again everybody can just remove your walls like before... so back to Chucksteaks fake base and adding all stuff in hidden boxes... Armored Docks got nerfed y this decision as well... For PVE it was a big fat toxic Dev Grief that was used/abused the moment the servers got live again. I am pretty lucky on my islands all went fine. But 3 other islands in the grid there was total abuse of it...

Make my day... we do not need that much Ocean Yeah sailing on PVE is annoying... yesterday i used the complete day to check out golden age red ships BP drops and gues what... no large handling sail... one shity large speed sails... only large gun ports(green blue)... still don't want to spend 25k gold for a Brig that i do not have better BPs for... So in the evening i changed shooner for whale hunting and i got both quest done in 5 hours... because.... i saw one blue and one sperm whale(I used to kill 20-25 on a common day in Season 3 PvP to make my shooner overloaded with gold - i was that good in whale hunting(and finding them) all my mades refused to even try - but had to follow me with a brig to carry the gold) The one blue whale i found was glitched into a neutral trading island... I solved his problem xD So George you are right... Ocean is totally empty. Floatsam have to less revenue to even change your course to get a try to hook them. Sunken Treasures as well... did not find anything valuable. But i raided one of the trading banks and got 32k gold - LOL. But i would not support your idea to make the grids smaller. There should be more loot in the Ocean to make you travel. Funny thing about the warehouse trading: I got all 6 types of wood and 4 of thatch by trading but i get only 1 type of fibre so far. Now thanks to the new patch i have two farmhouses conected and my warhouse is now close the max capacity... my trade partners do not have enough resources to trade with me... besides i do not find anyone active anymore who is interessted in setting up effective trades. DEVS please change that retarded 12h auto decay of structures outside the claim! Make it at least 5 days! YOu can't place a bed for fast travel because next day it's already gone again! Some players lost all farmhouses because of auto decay instead of the new claim towers. My warehouse is build in the water... I just wonder what will happen if i do not log in for 12h... it shows mee it has 10 days,... but who knows... water tower does not reach it.
  24. My thoughts about the invulnerable lawless base are actually proofed wrong. The Tower does not give any protection to your structures... so it's simply a griefing tool implemented by the Devs. Maybe it should have some Peacetime to set yourself for like 16 of 24 hours? Also amount should be reduced to maybe max. 5-10 for a company to avoid spamming lawless.
  25. I think if you just place a 4x4 or maybe 5x5 like this and 5 pieces high around the tower you will have an invulnerable lawless base. So Devs are actually right, this tower changes lawless life on PvP and makes your bases there safe. Also you can build this around water tower and put your ships in invulnerable docks self build that do not cost any gold. Large walls actually could have a comeback in lawless areas even they have this little HP^^ I personally do not like to sea all that red towers through scope when gettign close to an islands... please remove this. I also do not see the green circle when holding the "H" key. You have to carry a tower with you to see the claim radius... totally bad. At least the green color i like and see much better than the blue of the warehouse... because you know there is everywhere blue water around a warehouse... Also why the blue warehouse circle is not showing the area after which you actually could build the next one?
