Must agree that it was a good change. 20% CB still is a good upgrade to good blueprints And the Gap between a high end craft And beginner ones is Smaller which benefits Smaller companys. Not sure how many People or companys had proper int gear but on PVE only a very small number ( under 10 ) had good gear And a high Level. Solo or small companys just couldnt effort the millions of Gold And Mythos to Upgrade

Allowing players to make themselves incredibly small in order to make themselves harder to hit is the most fucking retarded thing ever. It ruins the aesthetic of the game as you're pretty much forced to make a baby-sized character to play on an equal playing field with some of the PvP tryhards. It should have been fixed in ARK, too! It ruins the general look of the game because it looks like a midget battlefield as opposed to a pirate game. Please, consider adding some limitations to character height and body sliders!

Been playing the game since it came out and still enjoying it, however one thing that I really miss from the start is the original blank map that filled in as you explored. It was fun to just explore, not being sure when or were you'd find land. Seeing the trails on the map where you'd been, trying to fill in the missing bits. Just gave you something else to do on PVE, which certainly didn't hurt. So does anyone else miss that blank map?

Pirates ONLY work on non dedicated modes. They said they planned for non official dedicated, but it hasn't happened yet. So if you use a server you can't use pirate camps. I'm waiting for it myself, non dedicated multiplayer isnt really a good option

They removed the speedstat for now,but the Turning effectivness is awesome too^^ And you wouldneed a Handlingsail with 130% acceleration to be as fast as a speedsail

Okay where do i Start? Basicly the speedsails are 40% faster in a good wind angle than Handlingsails. Also handlingsails catch wind better they are only faster at about 70 degrees. So 35 degrees to the left And right when going from the southside of the Ship. Even if they are called handlingsails they only turn your ship faster with bad wind or at certain angles. The real differences between those 2 Starts when using higher Tier blueprints. The acceleration is a max speed Bonus that adds about 1,5% max Speed per % on acceleration. The effective angle increases the degree at which wind is caught, which means that if you have effective angle on them you could Sail against the wind with almost full Speed. The Turning effectivness on speedsails defines how fast your ship Turns with good wind And full Speed. Sorry for that wall of Text but my Smartphone sucks. Might add a detailed Sail Guide at some point^^

Ok so I got to finally do a few hours of exploring yesterday and so far yesterday was the best time I have had. Finally got them into discovery points and I have to admit, sailing is the best part of the game. to be honest I was start to think the game sucked but that was mainly because I didn’t have enough time to play and felt like I wasn’t getting anything done. i don’t see sailing being boring in the slightest. It only takes a few minutes to get to each island and then 20 max to get to the next grid. I get the whole blue shield thing, but I would like to suggest that the landfall discovery points stay blue but change the smaller discovery points to red shields or some other color. A lot of times I would think I would see a discovery point, just to find out is was the other island behind the one I was on. That would be a good QoL change.

Tame elephants using a bear and no trap. Use wheat.....using anything else is a giant pain. Always feed the elephant from its belly side. If its body has fallen on a flat surface or legs facing downhill you can easily walk up between its legs and inch forward so you permanently get the feed icon and can watch the timers without getting hit. When the surface is uneven or blocked by trees, rocks, pillars, trap it can be very difficult and you have to use the dive and retreat method. The only issue I typically run into is killing the tame because my dumbass forgot to put my bear on passive or another creature (ie cobras god I hate you) slithers up and kills it.

Nope, the crafting bonus were game killing... That is why they reduced their impact this much, until they get going on game balancing again...

Hm, it could be possible that this is the case, we'll need to investigate. Will look into it. As for the decay timers, they are set up to work like so: PvE - 14 days (Golden Age: 1 Day, Freeports: 3 days) PvP - 30 days (Golden Age: 1 Day, Freeports: 3 days) and then to keep the timer active, you have to physically stand on the boats.

We still need confirmation of how ship decay works on PvE @Jatheish @Dollie We so far have the players guessing (we shouldn't have to guess) that the following things are required, yet all contradict one another. Decay is 7 days Decay is 21 days Stepping foot (boarding) on ships or fast travel to ships refresh timers Stepping on ships and simply raising and lowering anchor is enough Stepping on ships, raising anchor, slightly moving ship, reanchoring refreshes timers. Ships have been inactive for longer than 3 weeks with no issues So we need to know once and for all, only the developers know how this works, what exactly refreshes ships decay timers, and how long is the decay timer? Either that or simply place the decay timer on screen when you look at the ship just like structures. This is simple basic things that should not require repeated requests. People shouldn't have to guess at this and learn from losing ships.

Decided one big post and update it with every ship design I come up with be it practical, fun, crazy, for PvE, PvP, official, unofficial etc. Brigantine 40 Cannonos, One Shot Ship Of The Damned up to Level 40: Schooner 21 cannons, One Shot Build, deal with SOTD up to Level 25: Schooner 21 cannons Speed Build Video: Solo Sloop Build for Destorying SOTD (Due to official changes you cannot put some of the walls on official servers but excluding that everything else works):
