  1. Tigers are better. I can solo Masterwork Maps, 20+, with a level 70 or so Tiger. The bleed attack does work on the SOTD. Tiger Damage output is about 1.5X of a Bear of equal level. And Tigers can jump, making it easier to get them to places Bears can't go without a ramp.
  2. I have quite a bit of experience on Breeding Tigers, that's all I do in fact. Gestation is 5 hours. Then 6 hours to get the Cub to 10% and able to use the feeding trough. First Imprint will be 2 hours after this, then 8 hours for each following imprint, 7 in total including the first. Grills seem to be best for providing heat and you will need 720 wood per Grill for the fill 0-10% phase. I usually put in 750. For the 0-10% phase, you will also need about 750 meat per cub. After this, like others have said, just keep the Feed though full. Depending on where you do your Breeding, you will need a number of Grills to keep the cubs warm for the 0-10% phase , and if in the Tropics, or certain other sectors, Friges because the will overheat if too warm. I have been breeding in O4 and only need 6 Grills, but when I was in O2, I needed upwards of 20.
  3. I am reading that, apparently, preexisting structures cannot be removed. No matter, I don't mind sharing an Island, and word down at the docks says that there will be another wipe is September anyway.
  4. I just claimed an Island that had been abandoned by another company. How do I go about removing the structures that this other Company left?
  5. To anyone knows of a reliable method to destroy Underwater Stone Structures. If you can message me on how to do this, and I can replicate it, I will meet you in the Freeport of your choice, at a time convenient to you, and pay you 10k gold.
  6. While they can be tamed only up to level 30, you can then breed them to Higher levels. I know someone who loves playing "Jurassic Park".
  7. The "secret" to anchoring in a Feeeport is to frequently log in and repair the planks. No other option. The more HP on planks, the longer they will last before starting to leak.
  8. Semi-safe is a relative term. Most Companies do not allow Settlers on their main Island, but do, sometimes actually invite Settlers to secondary Islands they own. These secondary Islands are usually used for the resources it offers, or simply for security, ie. not allowing possibly enemy Companies to have an Island too close to their Main Island. Either way, simplest way is to enter a Sector, try and contact the Companies who own Island there and ask if they allow Settlers. If they say no, leave and try another sector. Even if they do allow Settlers, do not expect support if you are raided. Perhaps they will aid you, perhaps not. Most companies will want you to merge in with them, ar at least become Allied, IF, they deem you worth it. Then there are also some Companies that will allow you to settle, let you build up a bit, then raid you themself, looting everything they can get and destroying anything they don't want, laughing at you all the time. Be warned.
  9. Yes, I tried Explosive Barrels and Grenades. If carried, barrels will immediately go back on your hotbar as soon as you go underwater. If thrown, they will float on the surface and start ticking down. Grenades will totally disappear when thrown as soon as they hit the water.
  10. How do you destroy underwater stone structures?
  11. Should be obvious by now that they have no idea what is causing the problem, much less how to fix it. I believe they are trying to think of a way to spin this into some kind of "feature" akin to "property Upkeep cost". Some way that isn't obviously total BS.
  12. I Demolished a Thatch roof today, and 3 Stone Roof tiles and 3 Stone Ceiling tiles went POOF. Any update on a Fix yet? Please.
  13. Then you were lucky. Never stopped with me. It is definitely linked to when you pickup or demolish existing structures. Probably something to do with the item code. Hope it gets fixed soon.

    Discovery Points

OK, reloging seems to have corrected things.
  15. The latest patch stated the following - One-time doubling of acquired Discovery Points for all previously existing player profiles- Players will now get 2 Discovery Points per regular discovery rather than 1 I take this to read as each player will have his current Discovery Points doubled. Bu after patch, I still have the same amount of Discovery points as before patch, 354, plus my level cap has been reduced.
  16. I am 99% certain that this bug happens when you delete or pickup one item, (wall, ceiling) the code somehow randomly links the item deleted with 1 or more other items of the same type, and deletes them as well.
  17. Any progress on a fix for this yet?
  18. Yes, this bug is getting VERY annoying. I am loosing Stone Wall and ceiling tiles just about every day.
  19. The wind follows a cycle. Circling clockwise 360 degrees every 6 hours. I have not timed out the cycle from dead calm to full blow.
  20. The current 4 servers will probably be consolidated into 3 full time servers and 1 part time server. PvP Empire ( which will probably be the least populated) PvP Colonies PvE PTR (part time to try out patches before deploying to full time servers)
  21. Q. What is always coming, but never gets here. A. Tomorrow.
  22. Perhaps he's not smart enough to think of looking in the Announcement section? I consider low IQ to be a Handicap.
  23. @Caine I personally don't mind helping the handicapped people in our society.
