Why would you want it to be impossible to die in a survival game, no Alpha's and you are living in care bear land, if there is zero risk it will just become boring, just do scouts on your combat animal before you start farming and deal with any threats, you might lose a tame every now and then but this just adds suspense. So far I have lost 2 elephants and I'm on my 3rd at the moment, both to Alpha's and both times I was being Lazy and didn't scout first, its annoying when you live so far from their spawn area too but without that risk it would become boring fast. I'm enjoying the game too and was well worth the amount spent on it, I'm looking forward to the content they are planning and they do seem to be listening but we just have to accept some changes/fixes take time, its what we signed up to with EA after all.

Topped up on some gold (Treasure hunts) and repair mats, finally got round to taming a Rhino but had to log off before trying it, looking forward to seeing what its like to farm stone now they re-balanced weight so just hoping it survives till I can get back on

you can use a spyglass and it will have a blue glow over any undiscovered areas

I completed the FOY but I have logged in today and don't have the Rejuvenation buff, however I am still 25...

As long as you have a bed to spawn on then this is quite solo'able as all people are doing is making a run for it till they make it, but that's only for PVE, on PVP you would need a group to protect your spawn etc

So many people are not cut out for EA, why don't you wait for launch instead of complaining? structured reports about issues I can understand but so much moaning ><

Sounds like you need to wait for EA to finish, over the next couple years they will be adding things so when they relaunch it might be more your thing. PS, can I have your stuff?

Crappy answer but it's the best I've got... People that were here from the start and quit will be reaching 100 soon so will die and their land will become available, sadly on pve I don't have a better plan

We were having this problem too, lost an elephant and 2 bears to an alpha snake that either spawned in or got under our fence somehow so we have redesigned our base to have raised sections to house our animals and not had an issue since. I would also say don't use fence foundations as snakes seem to get under them and just use normal foundations with walls on one side.
