  1. Seems excessive grind is what they try to keep the last of us entertained with.
  2. Atlas hit a new low, 13500 peak. Right now 7000 plays Atlas while 25000 plays ARK.
  3. Something need to happen fast, else the game is pretty much over. The Ark 2.0 with ships isn't working. If I wanted to play a zoo game I will just play ARK. Yet they are... Need my fiber and combat bears, crow for crafting, monkey for regen, elephant for wood, rhino for metal and so on.

Wolf - Remove taming Then add NPC and structures to anything you want to do. It´s supposed to be a pirate game, not another zoo game.
  5. I have been in the game from day 1, 499 hours played and I didn´t know that bodies no longer vanishes in Freeports.
  6. That's the worst excuse ever. Other studios can make different games.
  7. The game is busy telling you that level 8 is the cap in Freeports. They could simply extend that text to include a comment about fast ship decay.
  8. The weird thing about ours is that you can only see it outside the tile it was sunk in. So some kind of server to server inconsistencies. But that's really bad.
  9. I would borderline to say unlimited flags for 3 days since you need to have something around 150 _land_ flags.
  10. Game is clearly working out as it is since the player base is dwindling at an alarming rate.
  11. This is what Atlas should have been from the start. Not the idiotic ARK 2.0 concept.

  13. Bear can do both, including wood for that matter. In short the bear harvest what you would with hand/sickle.
  14. I have been in a freeport maybe...5 times. Each time I have members losing their stuff because they die for some reason and forget the body is gone. Decay is another matter if you visit. Let´s be clear, the amount of playing is decreasing FAST. Sitting and being elitist and telling people how they could just have read patchnotes 1½ month ago or read 500 pages of forums or trawled the wiki isn´t valid. 14500 peaks now, don´t be surprised if its sub 10000 next month.
  15. You may never have been to a freeport. The concept of freeports being a hidden decay and no body render is directly harmful to the game.
  16. Dunno where you play, but it certainly doesn't work on most of the map. You can be unanchored at the places people park their ships and no cyclones spawn because you are too close to land/shallow water.
  17. That's what part 1 and 2 was about. If anything the current lawless kills new players entirely. And lawless people as stated cant move on due to two other broken game mechanics. However no matter how you turn it, lawless was never designed for permanent residence.
  18. Game hit a new low peak with 14500 people playing. I have a feeling next month with the new games we are sub 10000. They keep trying to make this ARK 2.0 with some ships added and all the same mistakes applied. And that´s not what most people got it for.
  19. Originally people was not supposed to build on lawless at all besides for a temporary base to get a ship going. They need to fix a lot of things, including the ability to actually use ships as bases. 1. Fix the claiming system. 2. Fix the ship they broke with 117 rocket science attempts to avoid griefing. Just use speed as the single penalty, never sink. 3. Apply a 14-21 days timer on lawless with a non stopping decay timer. Should be plenty to get people in a schooner, brig etc.
  20. The number is getting very worrying now. Normally we could munster 35-30 people in our server tile on average. Now its more around 5. I thought 15K for a while would be the lower limit when new games come out. But these games have not come yet (March is the big month). Since the game keep to fail delivering the original promise I guess the new lower target is now 10K.
  21. The worst part is when discovery points gets walled up.
