  1. You know what's weird? I lost my Tiger in around Dec-10. This firs day I spent like 5-6 hours, sailing forward and back, searching all route I did since my departure till I noticed my tame is not on my vessel. And now... whole MONTH passed and I didn't get a single message in my company log. I mean within a month my tiger could die of hunger. Could be eaten by a shark. And I would see message about my tame's death in log. And there is no message. It's like she just erased from game existence.
  2. I would add that all DEVs made alot of skills that totally unclear!!! For example - there is a skill in captaining tree that makes your crew repair your ship faster. The question is - when it works? - Is it works only when I'm on the ship? - Is it works when I'm within some distance from the ship? - Or maybe it works on all ships within company and only one company member should learn these, so all ships get bonuses? - Is it work only when I'm online, or it works 24/7? - Should I go sleep to the ship's hold to make this bonus work when I'm offline? So many questions!!! : )
  3. I personally would love to see some outside beautification. I mean, I built small village this season and it could looks way better with some fences and road textures. BUT!!! The problem is - more polys = more server lag! I just wanna remind how disasterrific © things were at C7 PVE last season. Some crazy pharaoh was trying to build a pyramid there and server was unplayable 24/7 due to extreme lag.
  4. We-ve got 2x2 now. And it would be gr8 to see 2x3 or even 1x3 (2 and 1 high and 3 wide).
  5. Grapes definitely should improve their machinery! (and yeah, New World is coming. Spring 2021 is closer).
  6. Or you can just pick repair hammer in your hands, then all resources you have in resource box will count as if you have them with you.
  7. Same here PVE G8 official. It was happening before wipe, btw. That period when devs were missing for like months, same glitch occur old servers.
  8. I entered my base last evening, I was about to test something about this new lumbermill but... well. G8 PVE got to unplayable state. There are freezes and warpbacks every 14 sec. I mean every 14 sec all wild fauna stops for 2-3 sec, then, if you move during this stop period, then you teleport back to where you were before this stop happen. It stupid. You jump from the pier to your ship, run through the deck, enter lower deck. Next second you find yourself running the pier right in to waters. You go for metal with your horse. You command horse to follow. You found metal node, run to it and start to hit it. Next second you find yourself 20 steppes back, hitting your poor horse. I refuse to play and test everything in these conditions. I had this issue before wipe, when devs didn't show up for a months! And yeah... I guess no codding will help here. Grapeshot need seriously improve their machinery!
  9. 14 - Market gave me 255+ Yeap. I built a market in my base in case some day I will be able to put warehouse there. It didn't work due to warehouse missing, just stayed idle. After that my ping get to 255+ state and server simply became unplayable. I asked in chat if any else have ping issues and players told this is smooth lawless server for them ever. Yesterday, before log out I demolished marked (and also silo I built for no reasons). Today I have smooth 60 ping.
  10. It serves my company : )) And yeah - those buildings are not cosmetic, each one equipped by stuff like one building with couple of forge, another one with loom, tannery mortar and pestle etc. I wasn't actually. And it's lawless so it's no one's island. And I do understand - ppl has right to build. And with this warehouse this was probably one available spot to build (although it doesn't do anything). And that's what we trying to say here on forum. Devs made things this way, so ppl HAVE TO build their only warehouse inside of someone's base, and then hope that some players around WILL DROP THE GAME and after 10 days farmhouse will decay, so they will finally be able to build one of their and connect it to warehouse (inside some one else's base). So... I mean, really! If devs make things work for players only after another players DROP the game, it means devs made something terribly wrong lol : ))
  11. 60% of my island covered by farm/warehouses of 2 companies. But things are even worse for me. I've got a warehouse built by some other player RIGHT INSIDE MY BASE: But the point is: - It doesn't connected to ANY FARM at all and it stays this way for a month. - The company owns this one - actually owns another island half map away from my base (I've been there for treasure, their island called Asgard). - There is a bed there and once a week some guy teleport here to renew decay timers. So they have a warehouse that serve no purpose for them (0 farms connected) half map away from their base, and they keep it for some reasons, preventing other players to build their own ones...
  12. I too wondering if any1 got a single gift from Christmas tree. I didn't. I also put a sock on a wall and it gave me 11 coal twice. It's empty since then.
  13. For those who wanna play something like minecraft + happy farm lol : ) Players who wanna spend a months to build their grand palaces bases, then do their perfect bears breedings - they feels fine and better every patch. With current farmhouses - it got way easy to build 1 000 000 pieces bases : ))
  14. I must add that right now crew DOES NOT repair this new premade ramming ship.
  15. Yeah. I would love to see this. I always keep my crew wearing uniform with color of the ship, and it's a torture to paint like 13 boots/gloves/pants/chest/hat one by one, by just mouse because there is NO hotkeys to ease process.
  16. In addition to last message - the game works this way. Tames always travels OUTSIDE the boat. Usually floating somewhere behind the vessel, sometimes underwater. So it's just impossible to say - if it still with you, or fell out for real. p.s. - My tiger was never found.
  17. 13 - Bring TAME ICON on the map. Just because there are constantly game crashes and battleye kick outs, I force to go for adventures with my tiger on PASSIVE FLEE mode. So if I'll get kicked out in the middle of the battle, I won't loose my tiger. And It happened like 4-5 times already. But last time I was on the island with a lot of wild fauna and... after I got kicked out, and log in back, I spent MORE THAN 1.5 hours just running around the spot, searching where my tame escaped. Found it really far from the place. And believe me - it's not that funny to run circles and non stop whistle like and idiot instead of doing treasure map I came to. Today I got in the game, departure from C7 north (to C5) for another treasure. I sail zig-zag due to counterwind issues and... when I came to another turn, I found that one of my guy for some reason got out from sail-station. And my Tiger is missing. So. For another hour I keep sailing the route searching the waters and can't find where my tame is. Instead of doing another treasure map I just sail forward and back with no purpose. If you think it's cool - well. It's not. If you think - taking away things from players for no reason is funny - well. It's not. If you think spending hours to deal with yet another game glitches is this what players wanna - well. Players DON'T. So... you need to bring tame sign on the map (like ship sign). So we at least able to find in when it lost in seas. I often seeing floating tames in the middle of the ocean. p.s. - Oh one more thing. I can not set my tame to Attack YOUR target mode again. I push the circle menu and nothing happen.
  18. Just wanna share my experience of this brand new RAMMING GALLEY. But if you ask to describe it simple, I would tell this. It named a Galley. It has Schooner's size and sturdiness. It has Sloop's speed. But first - buying one. 1) - How to buy it? I mean it might sound simple, just get gold, go to the shop and buy one right? But even this was a challenge for me. Gold is heavy. 22K gold weight 1600 pounds, while my pathfinder can carry just 390. There is a way, of course, if we drop everything on the ground then pick all up, we will pick all no matter how heavy is that, but... isn't this exploit usage? If yes - then dev's made this ship buyable for ppl lvl-100+ with all stats in weight. If it should work this way then why we have weight stat anyway, if we can carry any weight? Oh and... well if you play company, then some pal can just give you a ride to the shop. If you play solo - then it should be one way ship, which will be scuttled on arrival. Simple Sloop with 22K gold onboard have 70% loaded weight, and ride 4 KNOTS if it calm. It slower than any damned ship, so if any will aggro - then you and your gold is done. And some stairs needed, to be able to get out of ship. Because with 22K gold you can't jump. One more thing. I live in Tundra. And I have my Tundra freeport. But this ship seller have "Tropic" island and it's +30C (+86F) in there. When I departure and sail 100 meter away - Tundra is back and it's 0C (32F). This is WEIRD. 2) - Customisation. It's premade. It has no decks, planks, walls, ceilings, etc. The only old stuff there is one ladder, couple of doors, 2 medium speed sails, and cannons. Any other part made from huge blocks. Like top back part of ship. Low back part of the ship, etc. There were a lot of those parts and this is REALLY confusing, because in battles - they receive damage, and you need to repair them, and you just don't know what parts do you have, how many etc. You can replace sails, and put some stuff inside, like boxes, grille, mess table etc. YOU CAN NOT REPLACE CANNONS. So basic cannons + leveling = all we've got. Ship goes with 200% quality. And with all sails and cannons - it shows it carry 0 weight. Max weight in the beginning is 9000 (like Schooner). It has 14 crew capacity but with 2 sails, 20 cannons your crew should consist of 22 ppl. So you'll have to spend some points to x-tra beds. Painting made really RAW and RUDE. You can paint just whole block with just one color. No stripes. No double and triple color scheme. Some block can not be painted fully, and you able to paint just part of it. So your ship will be just one color with some parts unpainted. After I changed 2 mid speed sails to 1 large and 1 small one - I've got invisible part of large sail on lower deck. It doesn't show up, but block the way. Oh and lower deck have so low ceilings so large storage box just go through in and visible from top deck. Also you can not attach anything to your ship. Meaning - no rope ladders outside and to the crownests. No wallhooks with lanterns. 3) - Speed. When I was sailing this - I had a feeling like I drive WERY SLOW Schooner. It runs from 8 to 10 knots downwind. And changing sails from 2 mid speed sails to 1 large and 1 small speed sails, didn't make any difference. Here new game mechanic comes in. You press SHIFT+Q by default and oars released. You press it again and you got +4 knots for 20 sec. Then goes on cooldown for 30 sec and you can repeat this. It means in long term you've got +1.6 knots to you max speed. This is way slow anyway. Sometimes you press SHIFT+Q and it sais: "Oars released" but animation shows that there are no oars yet. Or there are just some from one side of the ship. But you can press SHIFT+Q again and ship will have boosted speed. Even if there is no animation for that. 4) - Ramming. I play PVE. Ramming doesn't affect damned ships. I saw a video where guy rammed enemy's Galleon. He landed 3K damage to enemy's planks, and received 4K to himself for impact. 5) - Repairs. Because there are blocks - you need repair them with special patches you create in smithy. One repair procedure lasts for 5 second and heals part of the ship for 1K. You can not hit you hammer and then run to another damaged part. You need to repair each block one by one, waiting 5 seconds every time. If you apply patch to part that damaged for 4995/5000 - it'll heal for just 5 points and one patch will be consumed. So it's best to wait until block is damaged for at least 1K to avoid wasting resources. And yeah. You can not put patches in to resources box. You need to brings them with you. 10 patches (10K damage) weight 35 pounds. For me biggest problem was - I couldn't figure out how many parts I have, and how severely they damaged. When my ship started do drown - I had to run through the hold with water, and guess which part should I repair first. There is no leaking signs anymore. 6) - Few other issues I found. It doesn't turn when you move backwards. Sometimes you can anchor but anchor sign doesn't show up. Overall - I couldn't figure out how to use it in PVE. Brig is just faster, more durable, can be maintained fast during the battle. It's cheaper and provides a lot of room for customization. Ramming galley - slow, impossible to repair in battle, hard to maintain, no customization, standard cannons, low HP. The only advantage it has - is boost speed for +4 knots, but... I doubt it covers all bad about this ship. So if you play PVE - don't waste your gold. I mean you buy it if you just wanna check this out. The only thing I really like - this is just first REAL ship in a game. It looks cool (I mean if there was rigging it could be way cooler). And there is NO WAY players will turn it to this:
  19. 12 - Glitching cargo cart. You know the most common reasons or graphic glitches are - cargo cart with storage box on it, attached to horses or bears. When tame with harness is staying for a long time this harness itself start to do weird things. It's moving itself, falling through the floor, climbing trough the ceilings. It can be shown far from the shore with 2km long strappings, then it moves back when you close to it... (tame attached to this harness is inside). And we can not deattach this cargo cart without destroying cargo box. So what I was thinking. What if we could? What if we could deatach this cart with cargo box, so it could stay on the ground/flor/deck until we need it again? And after we do - we could attach it to any tier-2 tame we want?
  20. I play PVE. Without any markets I already got 2 schooners and now - 22K gold, so tomorrow I'll go for this new ship. Playing solo. So it's not really big deal, actually. I might sound terrible wrong, but I kinda like this new addition. And I've got few reasons for that: 1) - You need to earn your ship, means you feel some rewards for your efforts. When you start global sailing with schooner, after that slow piece of crap, you'll feel really gr8 and improved. You feel your progress in the game. Before that - you was able to get a Galleon as starter ship, and simply didn't care. 2) - With expensive ship cost you have to take a really good care of your ship, you need to carefully think of design and paint, you need to name it cool, because it will accompany you for a long time. Before that - no one even bother. (ah man, I put this ceiling to the wrong spot, let me scuttle my ship and build another one). I personally even got in to sail painting this patch. 3) - No more "art ships" in harbor. A lot of ppl were building harbors, piers, then create like 20 of ships, park em there, and never sail anywhere. It affected game performance bad. Also no more "beds ships" in Goldens. 4) - Some survival element is back, because loosing your ship is much more painful. So you need to bring caution measures. The only problem right now - is game instability. I personally lost my first schooner first day I got it. There was game crash, and I couldn't log in until my ship was sunk, and only after that I was able to enter the game. I couldn't get another 5K gold in time. Right now I fine, doing 19.5 knots full downwind, earning money for treasure maps (highest one so far I've got is lvl23.5). My "Polar Fox" Schooner : )
  21. 11 - Treasure spawn points on cliffs slope??? I just curious how DEVs wanna us to deal with this type of treasure spawns??? - It's high on a cliff where we can not get with our tames. - There is just no space for maneuvering and deal with them with ranged weapon somehow (grenades doesn't work on them anymore, all ranged deals so little damage so they will keep burry underground and restore health, only way to prevent that is to make them hit you). You can not tank them with your armor and hit with your weapon (I mean if we are talking about good quality map with 5 damned warriors lvl-65 and higher). - Half of them will immediately fall down from the cliff. - Some of them will get stuck on rock edges. So... your turn devs. Can you tell me what are we suppose to do here? To Build 300+ pieces slopes for tames maybe? (co we garbage servers with our monstrous ladders). Surround their spawn with walls, so they wont fall down? I do know that their spawn spots are not random. So... if you put one here you have some thought of how players will deal with it?
  22. Alright. I'm gonna be rude, but right now I'm angry. I'm MAD! This message to Grapeshot DEVs and I'm gonna spread it through forum. Today I was trying to do masterworks treasure map (lvl-23.5). AND I WAS KICKED FROM THE GAME RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLE WITH DAMNED WARRIORS LVL-95. With extreme caution measures I took, I was able to relog in, respawn at the bed in ship parked nearby, get my tame tiger back (put him at passive flee), and join the battle. AND THEN I WAS KICKED BY BATTLEYE AGAIN. I know you all within your company really exited about traderoutes, new premade ships and all that kind of stuff, but seriously. FIX THIX ISSUE! Because now it's just BULLSHIT. I didn't have that many of crashes and disconnects in last 2 years, than I had just this season since traderoutes were introduced. p.s. - While I was riding from my base at G8 to this treasure spawn place at A2 I also had 2 disconnects whit THIS:
  23. Ok here is the deal. What you need to do is to get captaining skills and get this first skill there that gives you special food storage cupboard. Then you catch a fish (I usually just dive in and hit it with common spear) and cook around 100 (it's 2-3 fishes). You anyway kill some birds and wild fauna for hide - cook meat as well. And there is no problem to find vegies and berries around (i mean if you not live in polar). So you keep all 4 types of food in this cupboard (it has spoil time increased) and do all your current busines. When your vits gonna low, you need to do the following. Get to "cold" state (put all your clothes off, get wet at the nigh. It's easier in northern biomes). Then go in to combat mode, and start to tap left-left, then right-right. Your character will do its dodge moves and loose stamina very fast. If your pathfinder is "cold" you'll loose your stomach level when your stamina regains. So you need to low your stamina 6-7 times and regain it to get hungry. Then you go to your cupboard with food and eat: 5 pieces of regular meat. 5 pieces of regular fish. 25 wild berries. 25 wild vegis. (or if stomach totally empty - it's 6-6-30-30) You done. You awesome. And you can forget about all food and vits for a while. When you'll get use to it, all food and vit's system will be just a boring routine.
  24. 10 - FIX BATTLEYE!! Alright. I'm gonna be rude, but right now I'm angry. I'm MAD! This message to Grapeshot DEVs and I'm gonna spread it through forum. 25. BTW as far as I understand those large walls and gates suppose to be used from deep underwater to protect harbors. That's why they that tall and gate that wide. But players use them on the shore. The problem is - in PVE it's just nothing players should protect themselves from. Simply nothing requires those extreme measures. But players keep surrounding like 15% of islands with monstrous gate-walls to... I mean I personally don't understand why. Yesterday I was inside this covered wall territory and there is just nothing inside. Some company decided to capture a territory for no purpose. It's not PVE problem. It's something with... ...player's minds I guess . I think separate territories claim system would be gr8 to solve all. It means - all islands separated to several territories ppl are available to claim. Solos and small companies can claim one territory, average - couple. Megas probably half of islands. And it could bring gr8 PVP potential, so players can set their defenses, another players rush through, and then do marauding if success.
