I, legit, still watch this daily.

PvP is hard. Its dangerous. Its very risky. But why the hell would you build a base and a ship with cannons all over it if you can't attack people or be attacked? The game is PvP. Its meant to be played with the PvP rule set. You just aren't getting the full expierence if you are not playing PvP. Alot of times if you jsut chat in global people will treat you with a smidge of respect and leave you alone. There are jerks in the game. Huge mega companies. But they don't want your ramshackle sloop. They are busy fighting other mega companies. Its a vivid volatile world full of opportunities. You aren't going to get that on the PvE server. Most people play these games because you can do anything you want, and then complain about everyone else being able to do anything they want. Find a group, like mine, that teaches people and focuses on having fun. Don't take losses too seriously. Just enjoy the experiences. Remember the stories. Make friends. Don't be one of these trolls who jsut sits around saying "Games Ded, Games Broken..... I don't like this game so much I am still playing it and crying about every patch note and bug....." These types of games are great because you will cry and you will laugh and scream with joy. Because you actually care about whats going on, and you never know whats going to happen next. Adapt to the game, don't expect the game to adapt to you. Well hope that helps.....

Your right man. Games Ded and broken. I really loved your post. I think it will accomplish absolutely nothing to make the game better since you didn't include and solutions or suggestions. You should play something fun like minecraft. The forums for this game are more entertaining then the actual game. We should jsut boycott discney and vote trump next election. Trump will help us build that wall. Its clear these numbers mean something. Maybe they mean you should play another game? Maybe if we keep crying on the forums nothing will happen. Lets make another thread tearing down the game so people realize just how much we don't like the game. That will show them. xD Sarcasm.......

ping on my server just went from 255 to 100 with the last patch. Most of the hackers were offline raided and harrassed by players. Most griefers were wartarget listed and eventually quit. The Big Blue Donut is forming. Next step, a long lul before the summer wars start. Nothing but positive things to say about this game. Games Ded.

so true. They would often dev wipe entire tribes for cheating. It made people not want to be associated with it. Wish they would straight up announce and stream a dev wipe. What better way to show the community that they take this kinda crap seriously.

Do ytou want to be able to defend where you live? if you liuve some where you get bears there, you make a GOOD high quality swivel gun and some grape shot to defend yourself successfully and people run to the forums for a nerf without ever considering that there are ways to stop this guy like flame arrows or a carbine. Meanwhile the scrubs who cry all the time cause they can't learn. Shoot the npc. Light the cart on fire. kill the bear.

What about playing a PvP game on the PvP settings. We all know PvE is just code for, can't hack it on the real game. Hand Holding. Risk Averse. Bitch. This is a PvP game. If they ever balance it for PvE it will be an after thought.

or unofficial. just stop playing PvE in a game that is based on PvP. Risk vs Reward. There is no reward in PvE.

Works exactly how its intended. Break in and kill them and stop trying to ninja claim someones base without actually raiding it....

There will be a full wipe. On Launch day.

Storms or Players sitting on your ship with 50k weight. Stop playing on PvE servers. Its not safer. You simply can't defend yourself. On PvP servers you can simply kill players before they even get near your ship with crew if you know what you are doing. PvE is like sex with no orgasm.

I robbed a guy from Legion of the Damned on his schooner. He seemed like a nice guy. Made 6 trips back and forth from my island to our colony farming rare mats and bringing them back home. I made a brig for my friend. I sunk 3 schooners who were trying to be funny griefers. I sunk some ghost ships. I did some treasure maps to help level a new recruit. What did you do?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES!!! #1 Its expensive to make. #2 It can be replaced by simply pressing M #3 It takes so long to get the buff to last long time Something about these facts needs to be adjusted. Either make it cheap OR make it do more then what it does not OR make the buff last longer or take less time to get. I really don't understand why I should even use it when I can simply press M.

yup this happens. needs to be fixed. And why do storms spawn every time it rains?? Does it never just a tiny bit? It never ever rains on desert biomes. Adjustments should be made.

Pillars? You can use Pillars to build from the ocean floor to the waterline and build on that. You could technically build in the middle of the ocean this way.
