Use a bear to hit it and tame it in open field and when you trap it with bola feed it from the back while crouched, it won't hit you but it'll try to run once after 60%. You can use a taming pen but it might block its head and you won't be able to feed. Crouch and approach from the back it won't take you much time to get the sweet spot and try taming it during 2x which will be quite fast.

Do the power stone quest you'll gain a lot of discovery points and kill whales.

So we are at M12 waiting for hydra to respawn but its not respawning. After how much time it respawns and does it respawn at same location or not?

Well I had problems feeding rhino, elephant and giraffe in start but after some attempts and I learned the sweet spots for all of them. Elephant and Rhino have sweet spot near belly. Giraffe's sweet spot is near its back, just bola it on flat surface, and approach its neck from back side, you can feed it but it won't detect and hit you.

Same thing happened with me today, I was fighting a girafe with my bear and it got stuck under ground and after some time it vanished but its not dead yet.

They close all the tickets and solve the issue later as stated by Jat. Feels bad man to see that Galleon on land.

Best way is build a semi armoured brig with 12 cannons on each side and fight high level sotd. Because high level crew costs less gold to recruit and the ship drops more gold as well as good bps. We maxed out our new built brig in 3 hours by destroying approx 30 sotd and only lost 2 planks because armor takes all the damage.

Use grappling hook when the bird is on ground and drag it into cage and use spyglass to damage the bird. GL

I'm having same problem as well, glad I always unman all the cannons before leaving as they cost double gold if manned. And you can use free npca by using enable order following option after holding e.

Most of the claims have 20 days protection. On our region people just login to reset the timer and leave. Thats the sad part of PvE. Only 4 companies are active on our island out of so many active companies.

I don't mind same islands but check N10, two same islands in one server is a joke. You can't even tell which treasure map belongs to which island

Schooner with 1 large and 1 small speed sail and galleon with 6 large speed sails are fastest ships with 20% weight. Brig is 2nd and sloop is 3rd and raft is 4th.

I enter regions parallel to the border which seems the best method to not get surprised by 3-4 camping damneds.

Its already easy to farm with current gathering rates. You can build a schooner in 1-2 hrs which is the fastest ship and really good to fight sotd as well. Its already perfect rates. Grinding is a really important part of game if everything is too easy people will quit way faster. You can farm a ton in 3 days with 4x and you have 4 days to sail, discover and gather diff materials for bps, you can hunt whales, fight sotd, do treasure maps, etc.

You can't play solo in PvP and expect everything to be alright without getting offline raided by big companies without having allies. And in PvE its way easier for solo player to build ships and sail as well as fight damned. Most of the ship sinking exploits have been fixed by now. If the devs set the base harvesting rates as 4x and offer 8x on weekends all of the people will demand to set 8x as base. And use elephants to gather wood its very well balanced now. And you can farm 1M fiber in an hour or two in temperate or tropical regions which will last you for very long. Its not supposed to be that easy and fast to farm.

Current gathering rate is fine and we dont need 2x which will actually be 4x which makes farming too easy. In 2x event it takes 1 day to build solo galleon.

EU PvE N13, you can come to Glassy Island, we have lots of land if you wanna build base and multiple shipyards.

You will have to travel to particular server to reset the timer. Just keep beds in all your claims and fast travel.

Always keep animals on neutral in pen, 2 bears can easily kill alpha cobras which have higher chance to glitch inside pen. By only keeping animals on neutral we haven't lost a single tame inside pen.

Update: Same situation everywhere I go. Their number has increased but their aim is really horrible. Out of so many sotd only 1 managed to hit a shot that too on almost point blank range. And they just try to T-bone our ships now. Interesting AI. And on PvE most of the people left playing because their claims will be safe for 20days so they just login to keep the upkeep and leave. And everybody is interested in building castles rather than sailing ships and fighting damned.

So I sailed from N13 to N8 and returned, there were so many ships of the damned on way, we would encounter 4-5 of them at once. Avoiding them was impossible. Not a huge problem but the spawn rate seems too much because we saw atleast 40 of them(in render distance) in 1 region while travelling. Did devs increase their spawn rate or the ships just keep spawning even if no one destroys them and their number keeps increasing?
