Upcoming Notes: Please note these updates may not necessarily be in the next patch but will make into an upcoming one. - Server-side crash fixes and stability improvements - Army of the Damned Ships will no longer initially aggro to drydocked or anchored ships, unless fired upon by them or already targeting them. - Reduced Army of the Damned ships spawn rate by 60% - Reduced Army of the Damned ship HP per level scaling by 20% - Reduced Army of the Damned ship Aggro range by 10% - Boosted Army of the Damned ship loot quality by 10% - Reduced Flotsam spawn rate by 35% - Increased Treasuremap item quality by 15% - Eliminated at-sea increased rate of vitamin/vitals consumption. Now it just causes food to spoil faster, and temperatures to drop. - Increased vitamin equilibrium range to +/- 20% rather than 10% (making it easier to achieve and stay in equilibrium) - Decreased vitamin deficiency debuff threshold to 10% rather than 20% - Reduced base rate of vitamin consumption by 2% - Ensured army of the damned ships spawn farther away from shore, and don't spawn too near player ships - Fixed Diving Platform to take any oils, not just blubber - Changed Lighthouse HP to 25k, gave it stone structure settings, and allow it to burn oil - Updated some undesired movement speed max taming additions within status components, (some already set in CreatureBP), plus some unintentional unrealistic water movement speeds. - Adjusted Seagull and Crow aggro speeds (Would prev take a v long time to de-aggro). Updated collision to allow player attacks to land more consistently. - Updated Tiger IK to better conform to slopes. - Razortooth stamina adjustments (Would prev fatigue from running in like 2 seconds) - Created new inherited AnimBP for Rabbit. Setup for shoulder mounting (Not yet enabled until ability is final) - Updated Vulture AI to only target sleeping humans if the player is connected. - Included foot sockets in Giraffe neck attack to more consistently harvest. - Reduced Bee movement to allow player attacks to land. Reduced sting buff duration to better reflect Atlas reduced Bee size. - Increased harvest amount of fur and milk from Sheep and Cow to incentivise taming and better compete with natural resource gathering amounts. Updated max yield timings to scale with creature level, similar to other creature abilities, instead of food value. - Clamped amount of fur gained from harvesting wild sheep, again to incentive taming. Wild sheep will also flee, and may attack players after excessive shearing. - Army of the Damned Ships will no longer initially aggro to drydocked or anchored ships, unless fired upon by them or already targeting them.
  3. Yeah I'm good with higher level cap with progressively more exp needed!
  4. XP bar move at all, as it eats, as you ride it, or as you kill stuff with it?
  5. Doesn't appear to be fully intentional with the ghost ships, expect a "fix" patch "soon". Sucks for all the lost ships, big be time to farm the match and be rdy to insta rebuild when balance patch hits!
  6. Larger company would always be easier. Ally would be better if your share an island but want to be friendly with those sharing it. If you want to build and sail with them I'd suggest a merger.
  7. 1 Animals: Spawns are a bit out of wack some places, but others more balanced. Do need a PvE land threat, just needs balancing. 2 Hackers: Report and pray at this point 3 Big Companys: Numbers will always provide an advantage 4 Resources: Respawn issues being worked on, but also can't expect 100% what you need on one island, go travel, trade, steal! 5 Vitamins: Skills + Stats to help, balanced diet and crafted food makes this not an issue 6 Decay: Decay does need some balancing but with a medium+ company upkeep is quite easy, just don't over built 7 Docks: Have yet to try building a ship enclosure but with medium company and a base near your docks it should make it harder to lose them 8 Claims: Go contest some, fight for what you want! Survival MMO, nothing will be handed to you! Lots of issues in current build, but it is getting better bit by bit, many many MANY more month of early access and patches to come!
  8. Having wind is great, you have to tack sails and work at it, not just put sails up and steer with a rudder like other failed pirate games.
  9. What you want may not be what others want... Orig skill system was way WAY too easy to cap out at very low levels. Claim limits are ok, but upkeep would be better Ghost ships are broken right now and I expect to see a balance update for them soon, but they are supposed to be a BIG pve threat so... but do need work We will have many many months of early access, they cant push EVERYTHING out at drop of a hat As a whole game is getting better and better, some things will take time though!
  10. Form a company, or make alliances, trade for what you need! There are ways to work around it as a solo/small co... but really the game will be much easier and enjoyable is a medium+ company!

  12. Was WAY to easy before to master skills at very low levels! Not that current way is right, but trail and error to find the correct balance Solo ppl and Tiny groups will also find stuff harder, you can always join a larger company, or work with allys to cover all the skill trees though!
  13. They want you to adventure off your island to the great ocean to, farm, steal, trade for the different resources. Can't have it all with in a short walk from your base Head out to the mighty ocean mate!
  14. Perhaps a survival mmo in EA is not the correct game for you. Joining a company will greatly help with your current issues... Trail and error is a big part of EA man, wont see it dead anytime soon
  15. Claim it, but also if your friend left after day 1 I assume you didn't get super far, may be easier to just restart!

  17. That would be great to know! Does the BP: increase shipyard HP? or increase quality of ships built at it? or something else?
