Now that new skill system is in place it is impossible for a solo player to do anything of value in the current iteration of the game because he can not have enough skills to build and PVP/PVE even small groups of under 20 would be hard pressed to cover all bases with these ridiculous point costs. Please add a system such as an auction house if you want to make the points like this so that we can at least buy what we need for materials.

Way to destroy a game in one patch pretty insane

No solo people will just trade of their own accord there needs to be tools like an auction house plus on a pvp server you try to trade with another island you get zerged by the mass horde

I will give you one guess as to whom can now take over the entire server with this new skill tree.

lol the math does not even add up with this new skill system literally you cant fight and build ships not enough points. Game is toasted with this! If you cant spec into multiple trees and there is no way to sell goods AKA an auction house then its unplayable without a company of at least 20 different people to have enough to cover all the bases. 15 disciplines but have to have some basics like survival points so somewhere around 20 people to be able to have top end stuff on all trees.

I think it connects to a ship not a shipyard as in a galleon can have a dinghy for going ashore while anchored out..

Maybe but come next patch if you anchor a sloop next to a lawless island it will be stolen in 2 hours time. 30 mins for a raft! Remember that people can spawn on lawless islands so they will and then search island for boats to steal with no penalty to themselves but to spawn and repeat. Where do I hide my boat so I can sleep in real life?

Right, any kind of anti cheat can be worked around however, even if a 10% reduction in cheaters was accomplished it is worth it to try. You can never fully win but you can make it harder and harder.
