At this point it is on you for still playing, knowing this new information. Not being a jerk but just straight up. everyone always knew about the unethical behavior this company shows all the time whether it is through the development process or favoritism or simply being unprofessional and not answering tickets. this is not a thing that. It has been happening the whole time. I can’t believe there are still 1k players playing which is very minuscule to begin with but it still blows my mind. The game has already failed so now they are all about making friends happy now.

Man, this was a really good review. It is a very terrible shame the devs will most definitely not do anything about it though unfortunately. But nevertheless, definitely a good review. I feel bad for how much time you must have put into this. even if they were competent enough to fix everything(which they are not in the slightest), I don’t think they would bother anymore because they already know they have screwed the playerbase over so bad nobody is going to bother coming back.

I wanted to wait a full week to give a new report but this is even worse than I thought. When I first wrote this last week they had lost 200 out of the 1,500 they gained but now they are at 500 lost of the 1,500 witching one week. That could be one of the sharpest declines since the literal launch where everyone was spawning in the ocean. they clearly made a big mistake and of course will not own up to it. The fat that they said “we aren’t worried about the numbers” really just shows how horrible of a dev company they are(don’t bother white knighting with the “ea” BS lol) 2 and 1/2 years is plenty, these guys just suck. really important to remember they are still 70 on the bottom 100 worst steam games. That will live on forever no matter what.

Yeah being a small company is no excuse for all the things they have done. That is just being unethical and unprofessional. I wouldn’t care if it was only 3 people. Behavior is key

Wow only 87 people on eu pvp and it’s not even close to the low tome yet. Things are getting really bad.

We all know the whole playerbase being low discussion as well as the devs don’t care about numbers discussion, but in all reality the players themselves care about numbers. we won’t get too far into the past or anything but there were some people that thought this update/wipe would bring people back. Well if we consider that 1,500 people were going to change the state of the game that was just false. The downward trend is continuing and I wanted to give enough time for steam charts to actually show the trend so there wasn’t any reason for debate. This time there is already a rapid decline which means player numbers will drop far faster than last time or any other time. there has just been too many bad decisions that have been made over the past 2 1/2 years. People used to try to say the ship was sinking last year but it wasn’t really yet, it was just leaking. The sinking is happening now however. I wanted to pick a time of the day like right now where it isn’t fully peak but also not the middle of the night to show bias so I decided with right now. Out of the 2k players online around 800 are Unofficial servers and there is currently more pve players on than either of the pvp servers. No both pvp servers put together but that would just be sad to need to do that to prove a point. And in all reality if we co vine both pvp servers we really need to combine pve and Unofficials. Just saying. what we can clearly see is that the whole state of the game is in bad shape with no light at the end of the tunnel. They cater to Megas as well as pvpers but it hasn’t worked so far so yeah. don't worry this isn’t a pve/pvp thread, this is simple a “the devs haven’t made a good decision in years” thread. They have not to not lied at every corner but also betrayed everyone. quick tip for devs for the next wipe. Nobody wants a new map and nobody is going to give you and respect or credit for making a new map. Don’t pretend like you are good and no how to code. You simply and lazily copy and paste some crap with a tiny amount of alteration. You should definitely not be proud, but be ashamed. Total failures. There is a reason you have already lost 200 players of the 1500 you gained. Stop thinking of ideas, you are not good at it. Trying doing what you are told and things will go a lot better for you. Know your role.

Yeah and unfortunately I fear you will get even more of a bad taste in your mouth as the days go on. They people that are salty aren’t just being salty for the heck of it. They have been around and have been dealing with these problems for two and a half years lol. don’t feel bad about the ticket being ignored because it isn’t just you. It is literally everyone. I am surprised you did get the auto corrected response to be honest. That happens when someone puts in a ticket and it automatically gets marked as resolved lmao that one always triggers people. wish I had the answer for you man but I am not too familiar with single player. Good luck though.

The thing is I am pretty sure after two and a half years we are at the point of whoever was going to buy it has bought it. A sale won’t do too much and they have already had sales before. There has probably already been about a million people that have bought the game but will just simply never come back regardless of what the devs do. they screwed the pooch way too hard for people. At this point I wouldn’t even bother giving the devs credit even if they did something really good. I would just say “ok, you actually did your job one time, I haven’t forgotten the 100’s of times you didn’t” and many people will be the same one. There is no reason to give them any positive feedback at this point because they don’t deserve it. this game has already run its course and it is in the decay stage. It will never reach even 5000 on player counts. Nowhere close to it which even that is a tiny playerbase that no company should be proud of. ark was a success and atlas is a failure.

Has the game been reduced to screen shots to be entertaining?

I feel I have the obligation to not just inform you but also educate you about this company. There are some white knights here that will say it is a completely different company than wildcard but they are very wrong for two reasons. reason 1: in the very beginning, grapeshot was comprised of mostly wildcard employees, regardless of things changing later(who cares about that). Reason 2: atlas was in fact a dlc called water world that ended up being a money grab as a stand alone called atlas. Plenty of people deny this but they deny it with no evidence, where throughout the past two years there has been plenty to support the claim rather than to deny it. bottom line is you really shouldn’t waste your breath. I am not by any means saying your words do not matter because they do but..... they will fall on deaf ears so unfortunately and technically your words kind of do not matter at the same time. I get it you like the game right? You want to feel like a “loyal” customer right? If so, I feel really bad for those people because you are not seeing the forest through the trees. It is really sad to be honest. I mean we have the entitled people that think their opinion matters and whatever they want to happen should happen( I don’t feel bad for those peopl), but the problem is the people with actual common sense that say “hey, that doesn’t really make that much sense” and they still get ignored. Those are the true casualties. this is literally the worst dev company in the world and I am even including EA I’m that lol

Yeah I am glad I decided not to play this season. There is a reason this game is on the bottom 100 list of steam. Literally one of the worst games and game developers of all time.

Well you know what company made this game right? Lol this has been a failed game for awhile now. I still feel embarrassed when I tell other gamers I played atlas lol

Just a quick reality check. Those pve people don’t want to play with you. If they get rid of pve the pve people will just leave the game. It really is that simple. Then player counts would be wayyyyy lower and the rating of the game might possibly make it the worst game in history(currently number 71 on the bottom 100 list of the worst steam games ever) lol. this is a horrible game to begin with. I wouldn’t even want to tell someone I was playing it mainly because I told my buddy I was and he looked at me weird and confused. this game is a failure and you won’t add people by getting rid of pve, you will just make it even more of a failure than it already is. just a quick FYI

To be honest these devs have the bed bigtime ark has solo servers, no tame servers, apocalypse servers and many others. Pvp and pve. boo hoo they have a big map. So what? They suck at making a game. There is literally no wonder let as to why this game is such a failure. They never implemented “one” good thing(here come the white knights) lol. this game will never be a success and we have had plenty of evidence whether it is from the devs themselves or the player counts. Really doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t take player counts into effect, people ignore facts all the time. Either way, the only way is a downward spiral.

I wouldn’t listen to anyone else if I were you. Doesn’t matter how easy it is to get gold. It should either cost gold or resources. Not both. Very idiotic idea the devs had but then again they have have plenty of idiotic ideas.

Yeah I mean that is basically it. Once the in game content is done the game is basically done. The same Megas always win so unless you are a mega you are not even in the game so to speak as far as what you are saying lol. there is no pvp. There are Megas and people that get killed by Megas so there really isn’t an end game there at all.

How to kill a game without telling you huh? Start a gaming company with grapeshot as your inspiration and Electronic arts as your financial advisor.

That just shows the lack of content. Even with ark you still have to breed the rexes to do the boss battles and do multiple bosses to obtain the engrams for everything. They have really done a bad job at this game. they just keep remaking the claim system and remaking the map. Doesn’t matter if someone thinks it is progress or not because it is definitely not progress. It is just running in place. next time they want to make a map they need to make a different map but keep the old one at the very least. Actually add something instead of trying to fix something that isn’t broke. There is a reason this is a failed game and others like it are not. they really need to realize that they simply haven’t done a good job at all and they need to do the exact opposite of what they have been doing.
