    So let me get this straight, everybody that isn't on within 45 min of patch (whenever that is exactly) gets wiped and everybody that is on within that is will be able to scramble saving whatever they can and then join in on flattening whoever still isn't on. I see people claiming then taking whatever then demoing the tower then placing another over some other victim's stuff and rinse and repeat until islands are leveled, or replaced by new ownership to maybe be built on later if they're feeling it.......but no wipe. I understand this is beta but the devs need to understand that people have time invested and if they want us to play their game they need to release all the info on these updates so that the players can prep to avoid completely losing the time they have invested in this game or they'll walk and bash this game over every media they can out of complete anger. The tower claiming wouldn't be bad at wipe so everybody is on the same page but not now. Not by the way it's explained. I foresee this going very badly.

    @Nacona 1. Last patch notes, or ones before, says they nerfed 1 for 1 (same item trading). Notes say you have to trade different materials now. Notes somewhere said the income from trading was being adjusted also. Look back a few patch notes basically. However the trade radius is getting bigger. 2. I don't know if its a bug or if I was grandfathered in but I made ~5k or more a day from trading. I just performed 2 trades over and over, ( marble for marble and softwood for softwood) 2 old friends joined my Company and did same thing you did, built a warehouse and market out in the ocean about 6 tiles away. I don't think they ever got over 800gold a day. a. They had trouble keeping it full, so it wasn't always running. This caused less efficient trading and probably led some trading partners to drop them b. Most Companies were already maxed out on routes or satisfied and scared to mess with it because things were running fine. A few other things.. Someone claimed on here that you could cheat your trading partners by setting the trades at 100 to 1 and steal all their materials if they accepted the trade (or some bullshit like that) claiming the system would use an averaged trade ratio. Never happened to me, never verified it to protect myself and I doubt its true, but, who knows... Final thing. The last "Meta" or "Exploit" that I heard of was to have 2 or 3 markets and basically rotate the materials in a circle. 1st Market accept wood for stone, 2nd accept stone for flint then 3rd trades back to 1st Market something like accept flint for wood. The OP explains it better but you get the idea. Just move them in a self sufficient circle.. May be required to stagger the trades in conjunction (since each market can handle multiple routes)... but apparently if you do it correctly it's still very profitable like before. ** edit found the Announcement Patch Notes, date Feb 10th ** This is the link to the new method thread.     Outlaws of the old west... ah that was fun for 500 hours as well... but a real exploit desaster as well. I build a base in a rock where you could get in by walking through bad surfaces. Did not need to use bugs like chairs or mines or horses(still was an hiden exploit base)... well hunting players that build base on the bottom floor of the map room 100 meters below surface... Cheats you could just activate with an external programm to fly or change movement speed etc... but my mades got me into Atlas from that game which was my first survival expirience. OoftW is dead - development stopped. Hopefully Atlas will turn - the hope is still there - i will never play Ark.

    Also important: Xbox Players are used to voicechat with the xbox app or xbox gamebar app windows 10. It's working very good and simple on Xbox and it's working on PC as well. BUT! Lot's of PC players face issues to get it running as intended... i myself invested 15 hours(still don't know why it worked at some point). The alternative use of Discord was bad for Xbox Players because they had to use that with their smartphone and use two headsets therefore...

    Long story short. The game is playable on Xbox One as long you don't face islands with lots of structures. A normal PvP Main Base will cause Xbox one to shut down - you can't play or if lucky you have lags about 1-2 minutes. I(PC) usually had to drive ships out and in the harbor for Xbox Players that they actually could play. We also had a small island claimed for the "Xbobs" where they could play without crash and a tiny base and no secure harbor. Maybe next Gen console have the power to play properly. I played the game more than 2k hours now for 20€ - i think it's worth it. It was sold for PC once for 3,99€. Yes there are lots of bugs but after 1 year absence the Devs are back with a tiny team but adding more new stuff than fixing the current game actually. Single player is very buged so you may play the official servers with the issue of lots of structures = crash. You will loose your ships due to icebergs that spawn in front of you or lags when hadding to islands or while grid change due to 2 mins lag while Ships of the damned attack you. 90% of the players i know started with Xbox changed to PC - most of them bought one for 700-1500€ to play this game without lags... I recommend to get in a company with PC players. If you have crash they can carry your sleeping body out of that area or kill you on PvP if you can't reconnect. Don't know how PVE Players solve such issues.

    Or you can just turn it off in the settings. Pretty sure i told you before. In season 1 ChemB used the lighthouse to crash the server for their dupe exploit to work, season 2 the lighthouse was used to make the building underneath it indestructible and its been used to extend the range of barrel gliding in pretty much every season. I cant think of a single building piece that have caused more wipes, bugs or exploits. I have 3000 hours in this game, I have played 5 seasons and i still dont know WHAT THE FUCK THIS THING EVEN DO!!?

    Well you can not put these on any part of Ramming Galley and Majestic Kraken. Just wanna mention it : )) I guess it's just bad code and such a minor problem so DEVs (busy inventing more fascinating ways to ruin the game) will probably fix it in... like never (Sorry guys, but I couldn't stand it)

    YEP they want a raptorshow for promotion i guess bc they can not get attention from the good programming work alone. i am just wondering what happened again maybe new devs. again, who the hell knows right

    Megas do care about lawless. Perhaps not in the way you think. I refer to it as an exploit, but it might not fit that definition. What's better than having a few markets on your island for trade? Going to the adjacent lawless tiles and taking over some islands to setup more markets and WH to trade with yourself. Ever wonder why the megas have millions of gold? Its sheer volume. 50+ people cant generate that much gold on an island, but by dominating several lawless they basically farm gold in unlimited amounts. This is the problem, this is what us solos and smalls are complaining about when we say its hard to get gold and keep markets up. The ever brilliant devs stated that the markets were to help the solos and smalls and that there would be incentives for megas to let them exist and earn their keep. They were obviously wrong as the incentive ended up being to dominate the land of solos and smalls (lawless) and take it over for their own trade rather than trade with the markets we set up. This is overlooked and not discussed enough. When it comes to gold, its clearly an incentive to take 20 guys to wipe out 1 solos area to earn another 10-50k a day.

    This simply destroys the game for casuals/solos/small groups. Not only that everything you worked hard for several months will be gone exactly 45 minutes after drop of the patch. Furthermore it makes all settling in lawless pointless.

    I just wonder HOW then : )) For example if I have my monstrous base from 100500 walls, ceilings etc, should enemy player capture all pieces one by one?

    You said you were lacking gold for ships. That is a completely different statement from what you meant. Which is "It will take me 10 days to save up for the most expensive ship I can build." This is a true sandbox game where you make your own content. You have made your content what it is. You sound like your alone the way you described everything. But you talk of owning an island and building galleys. You have resources you cant find a purpose for, so perhaps you dont need defenses? Hang on, sir are you on PvE mode? Where you dont need gold or defenses and can never be raided? 1. Sloop is free. 2. You can afford a schooner in less than 48 hrs. 3. You can afford a brig in less than a week. 4. Why would a galley not take 10 days? You say it needs work then describe how its working amazingly for you. I'm super confused by your post.

    This is an issue where the player is asked to constantly create a new character despite whatever fix is being given including shuffling files, directly connecting to the IP and moving the desynced body out of the server. All I, an many other did was log in to the game when the developers said the server were back online. To which we were met with a Create a New pathfinder.
