I only skimmed the other posts in this thread so some of these might be repeats: 

1. Generally speaking, what are the plans for new PVE content going forward? 

1a. More specifically, are there plans to add more NPC ships? It'd be nice to have NPC trade/war ships we can attack and board.

2. Any plans for more furniture items? Current decoration options are a bit thin. 

3. Is there any chance we could see some sort of offline raid protection? I'd love to spend more time playing PVP but quite frankly there isn't any point for solo/small groups to PVP right now since any progress made will be destroyed while we're offline.

4. I know this has been an issue since Ark but is anything going to be done about foundation/pillar spam in lawless? Its my understanding that these areas are suppose to be stepping stones for new players... but its hard for new players to get a foothold in these regions when you have a relatively small group of people claiming large swaths of land. In the lawless region I live for example, someone is actively trying to claim an entire island. Every time a spot opens up, they claim it with pillars. Soon the entire island will be held by a single company that has two or three people in it (and the two or three other companies that have a large presence there). That seems like something that should be addressed, even if its with an in-game rule change and GM intervention.  

5. Has any consideration been given to a PvEvP server where some regions are PvE and others are PvP? That would be a viable alternative to adding offline raid protection, allowing players to establish bases in PVE regions and only engaging in PVP when they want to. To encourage excursions into PVP regions rare recourses or loot could be added to those zones.

hello my question is. Do you have plans to introduce new boats and more aesthetic improvements for them? Could the bowsprit be a useful part and deploy your sail and be able to walk on it?sailing-ships-and-boats.gif

Will you fix Rhino no weight reduction and Bulls to get more thatch collecting to be viable thatch collecting tames?

Will you buff SOD Loots to be worth in investing in cannons ammo and additional crew and skill points?

With cooking can you make grill to be irrigated or something,using skins for cooking or dyes is pain and makes me not touch cooking.

Can you make guns viable again? at the moment its useless and not worth in investing points in.

1. Do you plan to implement window of opportunity (long one, like 8h at least daily) where destruction is allowed like now while during rest of the time islands claims are "protected" from destruction? Like you can break a door a loot storage containers, but not destroy the anchored ships and all the buildings. Outside the claims (sea battles) are 24/7.

 

2. What is the priority on fixing bad mechanics and exploits that are used all the time as very effective? Just 1 simple out of many examples is gliding with explosive barrels, diving under ships, placing those barres UNDER WATER and wait 5sec till they explode. Gameplay like that doesn't offer longlivety for the game, at some point everyone will be fed up being on the receiving end of such tactics (and there is great variety of those atm...)

From the perspective of a 275+ active hour player, I'd like to ask if the playable overall map and/or the actual grid size will expand to accommodate more players, and if we'll ever be able to modify terrain be it digging in specific areas or all areas to construct fall traps, or mines/underground bases. Thanks for your hard work on this evolving game.

Hi,

 

Few question about current version of the game:

 

  • About the alpha creatures, sometimes there are too much alpha close together. And the aura around them is hardly visible during night. And during days... Often, we discover the alpha too late.
  • About tamed creatures:
    • I would like to have some feedback about a very annoying bug. The bug is about tamed creature, by example a bear, which follow us on the galleon ship. Sometime this creature will no go on the boat, but under the map. And 1 min later, we can see the notification message about its dead on the screen and in logging system.
    • Do plan to provide a utility to each creature like on Ark ? The elephant is useful for the wood, but the rhino haven't any weight reduction.
    • Many tamed creatures like penguin or birds disappear. And we put them in ignore group whistling and passive behavior. So, how is it possible to lost them in own base, or when we are switching from a map to another map ? These creatures are not dead, as they are not listed in log, where are they so ?
  • About navigation:
    • I love the tempest, with all this tornado. My heart beat  like never when I'm take inside. It's really fun. Do plan to implement more weather event ? like whirlpool ?
    • The sextant bonus is fun, but a little bit too short. The maximum is 1200s (20 min), could we increase the maximum to 30min ?
    • The War drums:
      • The bonus is too short, and so useless.
      • When we fail a sheet music, this last is destroyed. It's not the same behavior with Accordion. Could we keep it when we fails ?
    • Flotsam seems to be low to be interesting, I don't see better than a level 8.
  • About blueprints:
    • Some blueprints are totally useless : blueprints about saddle.
    • Blueprints take a lot of space in box, and they are destroy when we consume all their craft limitation. Do you plan to improve the blueprints system ? By example, do you plan to increase the craft limitation when we destroy another blueprints of the same type ? And so players will be able to keep and maintain their favorite blueprints.
  • Claiming Zone:
    • Can we have a log history or the status about current claiming zone ? Currently we must do a screenshot to keep a trace of someone which steal a zone.
    • Maybe when we steal a flag during 6h, the reset of the current capturing zone, could be done only by the owner of this zone ? and these allies too ? 
  • Could cargo have a bonus of weight reduction ? a general bonus like 50%, as the elephant have something like 75% on the wood only.

 

Otherwise:

  • The sea is beautiful, nice jobs.
  • Ship construction is fun,
  • Zone claiming is maybe not perfect, but much better than Ark, where many players build everywhere to lock a big zone around their house. Which discourage new player.

When can we expect the players responsible for the 5.5 hour roll back to be punished? There is clear evidence all over youtube, twitch and reddit of those involved but yet no bans handed out yet? Why should we continue to invest time into this game if cheaters are not punished/banned?

1- DISTANCE DISTANCE DISTANCE ! In the futur, Can we see more than 100 m ? 

2 - Can we choose witch side the door open ?

3- For the official release date,  can we have a wipe server for the new player and a claim limitation ?

4-  Quest and trade between player ?

5- More Islands and more Biomes ?

6- Company player limitation !!!!! Big compagny can claim 1/3 on the map now. And we don't want to be a slave the this group. PLEASE !!!! 

7- AZERTY MODE !

Any plans to allow us to customise the ships more?

 

The obvious thing missing is the ability to have flags on your ship. I mean, everyone wants to fly a pirate flag on their ship don't they?

 

It would also be nice to be able to make your own figurehead for the front of the ship, and the ability to have different sterns/captains cabins designs.

There was an annoucment but it was in et than pst time like here on forum and got confused together with some other ppl waiting for the stream to happen.

1. Right now the only way to effectly play the game is using fire arrows, either alone or with oir jars. We 100% need more GOOD weapon options for melee, ranged, consumables (glaive, axes, Crossbows, harpoons, sleep gas, etc) so that there can be other ways to play the game that dont pigeon hole everyone into burning the world down. For pve encounters we particularly need those that are effective underwater. Are you planning to add these in the future and how far out is that on your roadmap of updates?

2. Animal balance is kind of haywire right now. Are there any plans to adjust the predator spawn rates or stats to make them more manageable (particularly the alphas)? Are tamed creatures going to receive appropriate buffs to make them able to deal with alphas? Currently theres no point in having a tame on an island that has alpha predators since they one shot practically everything.

3. As per your steam description, this game is supposed to be an RPG among its other genres. As long time gamers we know, as im sure you do as well, it takes more than a skill tree to call a game an RPG. Will there be more PvE content released in the near future? Things like roaming quest npcs or randomly spawning PvE events on islands or out at sea (im not counting SotD since they are moreso glorified predator creatures than ships. they cant be boarded, you cant break components, they are either alive and attacking or dead).

My question is, is there a reason that even with an ample amount of proof provided to you about a company griefing every other company on their island in PVE for more than a week straight, even after your ship sinking "fixes", that none of you will nut up and remove them from the game?

For ppl who did not watch the livestream, bellow are the things they said and remember, to anyone wondering, they did not answer to anyone in this thread, literaly.

 

They gonna keep the numbers of SoDs like now, enjoy wasting half hour to circle arround.

They did not adress the border camping by SoDs and whales.

They gonna add 2 new SoDs, 1 small baby SoD and 1 behemoth SoD that looks like a size of a brig.

They gonna add 2 new plate armor and 2 hide armor skins.

There gonna be a skin of armor of AotD.

They are going to add caves on polar biome with many many entrances, doing that will reward some kind of skill tree only possible to get from that cave.

They "don't know" why ppl hate wild life, kappa, they realy read feedback with 1/3 of posts being about what is wrong with them.

They are "researching" guns "still", so stay in stone age.

Tarot will be stuff like skyrim, cast fireballs, enchant weapons for special effects, auras.

They gonna add different planks and customiations to the ships.

They plan on adding more types of ships but nothing was specified.

They gonna add steampunk submarine with grabby hands to salvage ships.

They gonna add stuff to explore in oceans, possibly some cities or something?

The aging system is not scrapped (prepare pitchforks), but the "interesting things" gonna be explained more in future streams.

No word about alpha creatures, they only laughed to maybe add alpha SoD bcs we cry about SoDs everywhere.

They showed up some ugly potato looking kid textures, we might not have the characters we made but insteed some "genetics" between 2 characters or whatever, bs.

There gonna be other ways to deal with aging if we are not into that thing..., whatever that means, maybe we won't need to die, just forever 100 years.

They gonna add more those things for the front of ships, octopus, pegasus, axe, pirate?

They plan on making so it will be possible to mount the sail and control them with WASD but still keeping the current controls, whatever ppl prefer.

They said they banned 300 or something players... forgot the number, personaly don't belive.
