I understand that from a balance perspective metal was added to make stone structures difficult to make, but from a realism perspective - it's not realistic at all. Now i understand the game isn't a 1:1 copy of what was actually available to pirates but at the same time there is some forms of realism in there and they are important. So i suggest the following: Replace metal with the need to use stone bricks. Stone bricks would be made from stone in a new crafting table called "Hammer and Chisel" and they would take a while to make. Then with the stone bricks, regular stone, fibre and thatch (and if you really must add it, wood) the stone structures are made in the smithy.

This post is about the issues some people have when trying to tame a Shieldhorn and the Razortooth. In order to tame the Shieldhorn or the Razortooth you must have the correct Power Stone for the region you are in, without the stone you will get the text "Too heavy to entrap!" when you try to bola it. I hope this information has helped you solve your problems :) To obtain power stones, you must first travel to one of the power stone islands and defeat the boss of the island (a Hydra or Drake). Players in proximity of the kill will receive an Artifact Key in their inventory with a 2 hour spoil timer. You then need to locate the entrance to the Artifact Chamber and find the Artifact Altar. Press interact (default e) on the altar will give you the power stone which you can then find on your Compass. The last Power Stone you get when you fight the Ghost Ship Power Stone 1 - Purple - 014 Power Stone 2 - Blue - C6 Power Stone 3 - Turquoise - D12 Power Stone 4 - Green - F8 Power Stone 5 - Yellow - G3 Power Stone 6 - Orange - H6 Power Stone 7 - Red - M12 ^ Power Stone 8 - White - O7 | Power Stone 9 - Cyan - Ghost Ship Boss [Sails around the map, locations in the Text link above] |

Why in the world would you ever make it a requirement to use organic paste for stone structures? You're basically telling people who don't have any time of sugar on their island to fuck themselves. 18 per floor is ABSURD, that is a decision that WILL make people quit the game, I am personally not playing it so isn't my clan. That idea is so stupid, LIKE WHY IN HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?

You are going to break the game. How do you expect anyone to function with the stone change. it favors tropical WAY too much. I love the idea of scarcity and requiring ,.. 1. travel and expansion 2. trade The paste requirements are excessive and tropical just literally sits on all the necessities and won't require any of the above and can just fortify indefinitely which will create a big compounding problem in PVP with literally the strong just exponentially getting stronger. As for PVE it forces longer and longer travel times and doesn't really incentivize trade at all. If I spend 5 days farming sugar I'm not trading it for 2 hrs worth of any other resource. And if you ever add Sap to tundra it will just make the game's exploration feel mundane and recycled in each climate.

With the one of the latest patches some new features were added with v15.51 such as: - Increasing explosive damage to stone structures by 2.5x.- Increasing seige structure damage to stone structures by 60%- Wood Land Structure has been buffed to provide better resistance to siege weapon types by 40%.- Wood Land Structures have been buffed to provide better defence against all non-explosive/siege damage types by 50%.- Stone Structures crafting costs have been increased by adding metal cost, and changing fiber requirement to organic paste, which requires both fiber and sap to craft When sieging players bases it is already seen to just been hammering into the core of a base and then taking claim even though it may be somewhat costly, but now with the increased damage to structures it solves this issue basically. But now you increase damage and then increase and add materials to build some of these structures(stone) that make no sense. I have never seen a game that has stone structures require some form of metal, the organic paste is 50/50 but would not recommend it as of how hard it is to obtain in large quantities. If it was just the damage added everything would have been fine but now people living in other zones that do not have paste will have a harder time even making these structures and even if they make it they can easily be broken into now as of the new increase to damage to the structures. Before I only thought a damage change to explosives might have been needed but I wouldn't care cause all I was doing already was just hammering peoples bases/leveling them until I could set a claim down. Making the requirement change to stone structures was absurd and should have been thought out more before doing it. I'm not sure how much you play your own game but would recommend having people sit down and put a lot of hours into official online PvP and PvE servers to see what it is like from a players perspective without having to just listen to what is said. The wood structures change was interesting though and I like how you played that out somewhat, even though I will just break them down with metal tools or infinite charge a rhino to break them down within a minute or so. Main point: Revert stone requirements back to the way they were prior patch v15.61. Also the forums seem to be bugged when i'm posting my topic trying to create a new one it says create bug report instead of new topic as it did a few days ago or so.

Good morning, The recent patch is well disliked throughout the community because of the increased materials required to assemble stone structures, as well as the buffs to stone foundations. Currently the majority of players utilize stone buildings for housing etc. Materials required to assemble stone buildings now cost metal, and organic paste which in itself is not entirely common, and is crafted from two other materials. This all without a boost to stone building properties. Essentially it is nor more economical to spam Wood structures for the recent buffs and expense than it is to build stone structures at no buff with added expense. Essentially we are buying building and name brand prices for value brand quality. It's a sour deal at best. I'd like to suggest that tiers are incorporated rather as well as the requirements are rolled back, boosts to wood structures are fine as smaller groups might be using them as well as their prevalence on PvE realms. I'll list some ideas, and what they could possibly do. Tier 1 - Thatch Tier 2 - Wood Tier 3 - Stone (Revert changes) Tier 4 - Insulated Stone (By all means require Organic paste, provides Heat/Cold protection) Tier 5 - Reinforced Stone (By all means require Metal, provides extra durability) Tier 6 - Metal (Stronger than Reinforced Stone) Tier 7 - Insulated Metal (Heat/Cold Protection, as strong as regular Metal structures) Tier 8 - Reinforced Metal (Stronger than Metal) These options would make more sense overall, as well as potentially add more ingredients to the game rather than re-purpose stone. Lastly more depth would be added to the game which is desperately needed. I ask that these building block changes are reversed, I don't believe this is uproar generated by sudden change that will go away in a hot-minute. This is uproar that will stay, and in my opinion could quite adversely effect the game in a negative light.

I would like to recommend increasing the sap stack size for the sanity of builders to 100 minimum, 1000 max. As it currently is you can only make 220 organic paste in the mortar and pestle at once and that amount only produces enough for 11 stone structures. To be able to efficiently craft a 100 stack size of any stone you currently need to have about 10 mortar and pestles going at once. As a side note, many islands do not have sap so this change makes it so most players pretty much can not build stone anymore. At least not nearly as easy as islands with sap. It's an incredibly difficult balance change that makes the game significantly harder for some players, and it feels like it wasn't tested. Feels like someone just said we need to increase the stone cost to be more in line with metal from Ark and then items were randomly thrown in with no internal testing. I get the change, but it still needs further balancing.

35 Metal and 40 Stone for a Stone Foundation where there is no metal visible on 95% of stone structures? How does this make ANY sense? Remove, or reduce the metal cost of stone structures. This is ridiculous.
