  1. With the one of the latest patches some new features were added with v15.51 such as: - Increasing explosive damage to stone structures by 2.5x.- Increasing seige structure damage to stone structures by 60%- Wood Land Structure has been buffed to provide better resistance to siege weapon types by 40%.- Wood Land Structures have been buffed to provide better defence against all non-explosive/siege damage types by 50%.- Stone Structures crafting costs have been increased by adding metal cost, and changing fiber requirement to organic paste, which requires both fiber and sap to craft When sieging players bases it is already seen to just been hammering into the core of a base and then taking claim even though it may be somewhat costly, but now with the increased damage to structures it solves this issue basically. But now you increase damage and then increase and add materials to build some of these structures(stone) that make no sense. I have never seen a game that has stone structures require some form of metal, the organic paste is 50/50 but would not recommend it as of how hard it is to obtain in large quantities. If it was just the damage added everything would have been fine but now people living in other zones that do not have paste will have a harder time even making these structures and even if they make it they can easily be broken into now as of the new increase to damage to the structures. Before I only thought a damage change to explosives might have been needed but I wouldn't care cause all I was doing already was just hammering peoples bases/leveling them until I could set a claim down. Making the requirement change to stone structures was absurd and should have been thought out more before doing it. I'm not sure how much you play your own game but would recommend having people sit down and put a lot of hours into official online PvP and PvE servers to see what it is like from a players perspective without having to just listen to what is said. The wood structures change was interesting though and I like how you played that out somewhat, even though I will just break them down with metal tools or infinite charge a rhino to break them down within a minute or so. Main point: Revert stone requirements back to the way they were prior patch v15.61. Also the forums seem to be bugged when i'm posting my topic trying to create a new one it says create bug report instead of new topic as it did a few days ago or so.
  2. This is killing base building already xd, for the small tribes now actually have to struggle to get by and get slapped by megas. Before the mats required to build stoner structures was fine it required some intense grinding if you wanted to build anything massive though. For sieging a base all people did was bring a bear cart and hammer through the base until they were in, most likely by then the loot would be popcorned. Stone Structure change was not needed and is completely bs, i'm thinking of heading to another game now just cause it is so labor intensive now and solo building stone structures isn't considered a thing unless you are in a zone that carries the paste, and the metal is absurd. It's called stone for a reason.
  3. All servers on NA PVP Kraken's Maw need to be restarted, cannot travel through regions via bed or ship. This is currently being abused by people out numbering other companies and cannot be reinforced to this. Issue seems to have been resolved
  4. For as of the first stage where hackers obtained access to a dev/admins steam account and access to be able to spawn stuff in game on official servers, this was somewhat some as of the 5-6hour rollback. As for the recent thing that has happened again, I suggest a hidden admin logging that tracks everything that happens with admins or people with access to menus to spawn stuff. Using this you would have to keep track of what and who is spawning stuff in, anything that shouldn't be being spawned in or is suspicious should be checked out immediately. It should consist of the character the spawned it in, tribe he's in, cords to tp, region/server, and time/date so if rollback has to happen. It was said that you guys had taken measures to prevent future incidences, well so much for that. Dedicating people to take a few mins out of every couple hours or so wouldn't hurt and would benefit your game as well as the community. If you can't do this or some other way to lock down hackers/stuff being spawned in prepare for the game to die for a bit until it is fixed. Some people may prevail through this bs though, that is why I recommend you get something done fast that works. This may not be the best solution but it seems like it would be effective until you can do something better, and would be very easy to implement.
  5. The addition of more vegetation to Tundra biomes as their is plants and trees that adapt to environments such a these and able to survive but very little. Would recommend the addition of some as this would help improve gameplay in Tundra biomes but not to much so that the environment is still very scarce for resources such as wood, fiber, thatch and berries. Maybe remodeling some of the trees in tundra or adding a different type would be nice in the future. You guys have done a very good job with the game so far keep up the good work and try not to make old mistakes. As some definitions may differ when you look them up seems exceptions could be made as this game does consist of mythical creatures and such. Some examples of tundra definitions when you look them up are: Example 1: Tundra is the coldest of all the biomes. Tundra comes from the Finnish word tunturia, meaning treeless plain. It is noted for its frost-molded landscapes, extremely low temperatures, little precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons. Dead organic material functions as a nutrient pool. Example 2: In physical geography, tundra (/ˈtʌndrə, ˈtʊn-/) is a type of biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons. The term tundra comes through Russian тундра (tûndra) from the Kildin Sami word тӯндар (tūndâr) meaning "uplands", "treeless mountain tract".[1] Tundra vegetation is composed of dwarf shrubs, sedges and grasses, mosses, and lichens. Scattered trees grow in some tundra regions. The ecotone (or ecological boundary region) between the tundra and the forest is known as the tree line or timberline. Example 3: https://www.bioexpedition.com/tundra-biome/ Example 2 is a wiki definition but still gets the point across. Easier to put link for example 3 But as one of the common features I keep seeing for definitions is a short growing season for plants and trees so maybe just making it so their is more more trees and plants and the respawn timer is just longer.
  6. Being honest even with constantly farming and just one person I clear out a whole area it seems all resources need their spawn timers either halved or cut back to what their were before v10
  7. With the release of update v10 it limited spawns as to be blocked by structures, with the implementation of v10.71 it reverted it to the state which it was before the update. What was not reverted was the time it takes for metal to respawn, it used to take around 30 minutes for a metal node to respawn. Now it takes 2-3 hours for then to respawn and is insane for islands with barely any metal to begin with and so many tribes competing for them. For some it is easy as they have their own island taken for themselves, but others have this problem competing with other companies. I feel it is absurd to have to wait this long for metal, I could understand an hour but this... come on now this has got to be a joke. Don't bother to change timers, it will force people out of lawless into claimed land for the better as It did my group.
  8. Would be interesting for the addition of anticlimb walls similar to how conan exiles does it so people cannot just simply climbing pick or grapple over you base walls easily. And spikes also as seen in the game ark survival evolved and other survival games to line perimeters or even set the up.
  9. Adding in a barge possibly or some other type of platform to float at sea and possibly be moved. This would add more options for building at sea rather than just land, but the storms, and sea creatures I don't have an answer on how they would interact with said object.
  10. Since the update for v10.79 that reverted resource spawns back to the way they were prior to v10 for lawless zones is very nice and much appreciated. But since this recent update metal nodes used to take around 30 minutes to respawn, now they take up to 2 hours or longer to respawn. I feel that the resource spawn timer should at least be cut in half or reverted to what it was prior, my island has 2 nodes that spawn on one side and 3 on the other side. It is massive and shared with 4-5 other companies decent size and it is a race to get them every time.
  11. I feel structures should not prevent resource spawns as it will lead to what happen in ark with foundation spamming spawns
  12. In some cases yes but the way resource spawns are it is insanely hard you should know that by know.
