Firstly,I still play WOW and have solo,d most of it,also bosses dont drop vital equipment they drop extras like legendaries and mounts etc,ESO I've pretty much solo'd the whole game and only grouped when a boss is 3mill hp or over,conan exiles I'm solo and it also gives you a local option to play solo.Ark I play solo also gives you a local option too.Gw2 I solo,FFO I solo,Dark and light,Star trek online and no mans sky, most of these games when you do need to group with someone have a quick transport method which means I dont have to set aside 2hours just to win essential game content or meet up at a dungeon or boss fight.Sadly conan exiles has also started to add content behind bosses now and our server player base is now one quarter of what it was and all the big tribes are gone anyway.and I don't consider Caring about a game to be the same as whining about it,ive never just rubbished the game just pointed out things that I feel are wrong or could be improved same as a lot of other players have.

How many large tribes have all players online everyday?Thats why people need larger groups so they dont lose all their stuff if they are offline for a while,the solo player is taking a much larger risk,so why is he/she penalised for playing solo?I'm in a company,but I am the only one who plays everyday,we are all on different time zones and have next to zero chance of getting all the content,yet I seem to remember paying the same money for the game as everyone else.Personally when I've had enough of the devs ignoring sound advice from players who have been around since gaming first began I wont sulk I'll just move on,sadly I doubt if i'll be alone.

It annoys me when people quote most mmos have gated progress and rewards etc,I play a lot of mmos and most of them,especially the longest surviving ones have content that is level locked,ie flying, weapons,map areas etc.This is to reward all players for commitment to the game not just to reward the biggest fight club.If the devs keep doing this kind of thing this game is gonna lose its most committed player base,and they can just hope that no one else decides to release a pirate or similar themed mmo in the meantime.

Also,I could be wrong but the sotd dont seem to need the wind direction to be in their favour,its no joke when u get mobbed in an unarmed sloop and you can barely move.If it's bad for us it should be the same for the sotd too.

Reducing sickle damage would be fine if the cutlass wasnt so glitchy and didnt stop being useable sometimes when i'm attacked.I've reverted like I know a lot of people have to using the sickle instead,now thats not an option could you at least fix the sword?thx

well tbh it was a single sail sloop though so no crew,also cos of the lag it literally would not stop and just demolished the sail,all they need to do is move it on the wheel,also mine doesnt need a confirm cos with the xbox controller you dont click anything,just choose option on wheel and it demolishes.once it starts you cant stop it either.oh well

Please remove the demolish option from inventory and actions wheel,or at least dont have the option right next to something like close sails!Middle of the ocean in an unnarmed sloop trying to outrun 2 mobs of sotd,lagging like a 1933 movie,and instead of manouvre, i demolish my sails ,meaning i'm dead in the water with no travel at all.and its not the first time i've demolished stuff by accident when im lagging,you're method of sailing is damn tough enough without the added risk of demolishing parts of or whole ships.and no I dont think its an oversight that demolish always appears right next to an action we use,just take it off the damn wheel or move it to a position on its own please!thx

Thx for reply,I have no intention of naming and shaming them,its not the way I am(even though they've just been going round the server doing it to me),but you're right and I should have nipped this in the bud as it started tbh, I play 5 mmos with clans etc,and have never encountered this sort of thing directly, before now,,the crazy thing is apart from this its a great area for friendliness,and I want my main base to stay here really.but I live and learn.thx again

well problem now is,he wants me to make him admin so he can unclaim tames himself,trouble is he's threatened to cause me as much trouble as he can to stop me from getting more members But he wont take no for an answer,I cant trust him as admin,but i dont want to boot him and leave him with nothing.He's also getting quite disturbing in his mannerisms and accusing me of ruining his life,yes seriously because i wont make him admin.This company lark is starting to go beyond a joke tbh.I play to relax not to take abuse.Makes me wanna quit and just play solo games again.I've only ever seen this sort of thing happen to others,I guess I now know what it's like.

The whole shop thing I think is half baked anyway,on pve you can put it in the freeport where most lower levs couldnt afford to buy from you ,then to add insult to injury if anyone travels to freeport to shop,they know their ship is gonna need repairs because the decay rate is so high.Then there is the fact that freeports(or most other useful info) never appear on the map even if you've already discovered them! Nobody on the planet shops like that,a shop you have to search for,that then adds damage to the vehicle you've left parked?do behave.I do really enjoy this game and cant wait to see the next update, bugs an all,but if you are going to give the players something let them have it beneficial to them,not hold as much back as you can get away with.It's a good game anyway.

Tbh everyone is different though,you obviously like tames,whereas id prefer building multipliers,but I get it about the mods.I joined two private servers that downloaded so many mods it kept crashing at start.and with private servers I've also been on two private servers that just closed no warning at all.And admins around can actually be a good thing sometimes too,it does stop a lot of the building chaos.

I have heard of such a thing,on an island surrounded by chilling mermaid song,and in the very depths, an evil that does not sleep......

Yeh,i'll wait till he cools down and try to rationally give him as much back as I can,even though I will still be considered the tyrant i'm sure,I'ts more the animosity that this sort of thing causes that annoys me though.It does put me back in mind of playing solo again,which is unfortunate for an mmo.thx for the reply.

Hey people this is just a view,but here goes.Me and another player started a company together on eu puplic pve(his idea to merge,not mine)and he also didn't want to be owner.So we start a company and a few pple join etc,but me and this guy who is admin have never had the same outlook on playing.So obviously we disagree.Maybe cos im old and cant be bothered but when i fall out about something i don't go around bad mouthing the other party to anyone who will listen.Unfortunately for me not all people are equal in this.Anyway things have come to a head and he now wants to leave,I said he didn't have to but he wants to.Problem is hes threatened to badmouth me to everyone(very petty)but anyway I have no way of giving him all his stuff back,and I seriously don't want it.Now that is in my opinion gonna lead to resentment against me,when I don't even want his stuff.Isn't it time there was a way of parting amicably in this game?because this puts me off of companies alltogether.There must be a mechanic that can be implemented so that both parties can walk away unscathed,an in doing so less affected and inclined to give up.I'd like to hear what other pple think on this.many thanks for your time

Dunno If this is an intentional game mechanic,and I've been too occupied to notice,but today a door snapped to a ship window and when i went to pick it up it just gave me the option to open or close it.So are doors used for ship windows or did it just glitch?anyone know?thx

I dont know why but when I clicked to rejoin public server,pve eu today a steam mod started to install itself,Think it was called spuk or something like that.Is this normal,cos I didnt think it was especially on the public server.thx

Tbh I think the weather mechanics are way too predictable,we get a heatwave straight after it rains,and if no rain then every 5-10 minutes,and I haven't found any way to cool down not even water anymore.And the problem with sailing taking so long is how fast my vits go down,If they disabled vit mechanics while you were at sea it would make the long journeys easier to cope with for me.

Carpets,arches and window glass,then i'd be happier.

Dunno if its a bug or just not available,but I cant rename my ships,everything else works in the wheel(although I wish they would make scuttle ship harder to access accidently)just cant action the rename ship option.Has anyone else come across this?thx

That's where my base is too and the spamming is causing a lot of arguments,I think that if you own claimed land,your old lawless structures should have a faster decay timer.It might not stop the spamming but it might give non claim owners on lawless a reasonable chance to get there first.

Sorry I need to clarify ,I actually meant the vitamins, if you eat with a full stomach you damage your health,and your vitamins deplete even when your food bar is full.also with the water, I am in a zone where we get a heatwave every 5-10 minutes,which to be frank is getting monotonous,especially as swimming no longer seems to cool me down.thx

Seriously guys eating and drinking should be a realistic add to the game not the basis for the whole game,I went from one island to the next today in the same grid and went from full to empty by the time i got there,if we got bigger by food we'd be floating like balloons and wouldn't need an airship.You honestly need to slow down the water and food consumption as its not adding to the realism just taking away the enjoyment.And a heatwave every few minutes!!???Wth.thx
