In Blackwood bolos are not working. Bolos do not stop the animal from attacking or moving. I know V402.6 patch was suppose to fix this, but this is still a problem on the blackwoods map.

I'm on an unofficial server however I believe these are not related to ther server. When we bring up a treasure map the server crashes. Te sexant mini map is frozen, blurred and unusable. The boat physics are all wrong, going completely underwater at times. Very bouncy also like its too light.

I do have 3 different accounts with steam and purchased Atlas for each one. in leu of quoting I’ll say you won’t find your body when you log out. It use to be visible but that was changed some time ago. good luck with the ticket. I’ve been waiting for mine a long time. I don’t believe grapeshot cares or is unable to know how to fix the issue. Don’t think anyone really knows what causes it and there could be more than one cause for it. right now my desktop is at Best Buy geek squad with gamers well experience in Atlas. I hope they can find a reason for my particular issue. Hopefully if found it may help others.

I never heard of the need to die b4 logging off. Since I can access the game on one of my other computers can I just die and will that allow to to change my home region ? I thought any time you logged off and logged back in under join an online game that you could choose any home location. Regardless of what you choose you still will connect to your last position.

Yes we are using Comcast. Although I have 3 desktop computers in my office and 2 laptops. In office : 1 using wifi, can connect to game 1 using Ethernet can connect 1 using Ethernet can not connect (time outs and can not query server) 2 laptops cannot connect to game I also have 3 Atlas accounts. Tried different accounts on the one desktop I cant connect to with same results, connection error. Most if not all the time all 4 game modes dont show up and the grid map for connect to may have only a few show up to connect to or have to research because none show up. On the other computers that I can connect to the servers and grids show up.

Does anyone have any experience with this connection problem and using a vpn as a solution. I haven’t tried this yet. Not sure if it would work or not. Since you have to pay for vpn service I’m hesitant to try one. I’m also not sure how difficult setting one up. I’ve watch some you tube vids on it but seems a little complicated. Help on this would be greatly appreciated. It’s too bad one has to resort to such service (if it works) to play atlas.

Same issue. Been going on for several weeks. Tried all the online tricks with no success. I like the idea of the saved game ID but have no idea how to check on it. Also haven’t tried the long into the same grid you logged off on. My problem is that the game modes and the grid selection don’t populate or just one or two if at all. Can sign into steam and start atlas, bug that’s it. I don’t understand how grapeshot can be silent on this and trouble tickets for the same.

If I have to post an update everyday I can not connect, this is going to be a long thread. In the past, changing the router fixed the problem, most likely by changing the IP address. One post mentioned some block IP addresses after multiple attempts to connect. Don't know if that's what going on or not. The game worked on my main desktop computer before I left town a month ago. I come back and nothing. The laptop that worked fine in Memphis, now connects but is so lag-ey that the game is unplayable here in Colorado. I have Comcast coming out this afternoon at a risk of a service call, to change the modem out. It's either my computers, the game files on the computer, Comcast service, or the grapeshot servers. Since other gamers are able to play would seem to indicate its not grapeshot, however, why would my internet service be fine surfing but won't work the game ? Again I'm leaning toward some type of networking issue, and open to any suggestions.

These problems have been going on for months. Not just after Xbox.

OK, I've been there where I connect day after day without any problems, but lately. I have 2 laptops, 3 desktops, and 3 different accounts for Atlas (ya I bought it 3 X). For quite awhile I've been getting the "Host Pending Connection Timeout" and the "Network failure Message" . I get it at home on all my computers and laptops. I recently traveled to Memphis and used both my laptops and had the same thing. It seems very sporadic, sometimes you can connect and other times you cant. Change accounts, reset router, restart computer, nothing works. Even tried the dozens of online suggestions, without any luck. Tried logging in to other servers, and sometimes it works and sometime it does not. Comcast test and other normal internet functions are fine, the only common thread it Atlas. Now when I try to join logging in under "Join online", when the map comes up I get "no sessions found" so I search again and one or two servers grids show up. Sometimes even not all 4 types of games show up, maybe only the PVP NA will. I have tried so many things with so many variations of problems it's really becoming a big problem. I just did a speed test from Denver to Colorado Spring with 325 Mbps d/l and 12 Mbps upload. Ping of 11ms. I dont believe its my internet speed that causing the timeouts. When you submit a ticket on it, it never gets resolved. I know I'm not alone on this, and like I said at the beginning there are many that have no problems at all. Seems like too many variables to figure out whats going on unless your a network engineer. If you try to get help from steam, it just refers you back to Grapeshot. With over 2100 hrs on Atlas and over 6600 hours on Ark., I'm finally asking for help.

There’s another possible solution that happened to me. I’ve been playing since day 1 and knew I was at the correct island. What it was there was an identical island in the grid. Sound simple but I was sure I was on the island but was not.

NAPVE. The 81 point island in J4, Waterlisle Reef island is bugged. You can not harvest any ground resources. Parts of the island also causes rubber banding.

The xbox IS the sub menu. As soon as you select Bug Reports, that's where you report PC issues. Got it, I though were it said xbox issues only it was for the PC section. Thanks

Ok.....you have a place to report XBOX bug only and a place to report PTR bugs. Where are we suppose to report PC BUGS ??? Did I miss something ?

NAPVE Lansack Island in O8. You can not harvest anything. You can hit but nothing records. Can tame and Kill animals but no resources.

I was playing pvp but after loosing 3 ships and assorted crew, to off line attacks I gave up.

For all you guys who like to sink ramshackle and sloops of solo players; your mother would be so proud. Destroying a ship and crew of an unarmed vessel is so challenging. I bet if there was an option to mark your ship safe when anchored all you guys would use it other than spouting “ it’s pvp I’m so tired listening to you cry babies “. Oh, buy the way go ahead and bitch about me and this post. I’m not going to respond to anything anyone says so don’t waste your time. I bet I’m not alone in this.

That’s great to know it’s a known problem. If you have to set up a bed in the new grid then that’s what I’ll do. Thanks for the info.

Every time I die on or around my ship, even though I select to spawn on the bed I get a black screen saying I died. I have to relaunch the game and my ship and beds are no longer on the maps to respawn at. I can respawn on other beds but not on my ship. I select respawn at another place and build a raft. The ship and beds don’t show up until I raft into the grid the ship is at. Ive tried leaving conversations on discord and bug reports but have yet to get an answer if anyone else has this problem with no reply’s. This problem makes me want to quit single player.
