  6. You cant "seal" a flag. Also I think most players where cutting it close when they had 48 hours tops.
  7. Punching into their air is the current solution. Out of stamina and you get torpor. When reaching half torpor you start to take health damage as you keep punching.
  8. A lot of inactive flags funny enough got a 21 day timer on.
  9. New peak count, 16000. March is going to be brutal unfortunately.
  10. No you cant, you don´t even know how some weapons work and you forget any cannon defence would waste all ammo shooting fish due to another bug.
  11. Agree. 1. Remove all sea claims. 2. Remove ability to flag bomb. (Forced overlap of other peoples claim) 3. Add 3-5 free flags, rest cost gold. 4. Remove inactive flags with an additional tombstone counter automatically.
  12. There is really nothing telling you that bodies vanish in Freeports as well as quick decay unless you for some reason have read it in some semi accident somewhere you wouldn´t normally see. New players are chanceless in that area as well.
  13. I did a rough calculation and you need around 150 land flags to reach 3 days. Sea flags do not count at all. Even with 50 flags you are still having like 2 weeks.
  14. Use tames or guns. Melee, what melee? The game is certainly not what it was shown.
  15. Snap points on the upper deck sounds like a good idea.
  16. Hopefully they soon apply the ship removal patch again. Golden ruins locations isn't the only place they cause issues.
  17. Specially the second one is annoying. I bumped SoD and whales that way. Can´t be hard to apply the same code as they did on islands. While I escape, people with slower PCs or higher latency may not.
  18. That second pic....hahaha It´s not so much crew and weight as you think. Granted the second picture requires 48 gun crew and a few for sails. But weight wise it only uses 4800 if medium and 6720 if heavy. You can easily run a brig with 2x32 guns on at least 2 sides using group commands to change crew. 28 levels in crew for 37 crew (leaves a bit extra) and 12 levels in weight for 17400 weight.
  19. Mythos is the easy part, just farm cyclops with a ballista and one in the eye. The parts needed for it may be an entirely different story.
  20. The current gun setup on ships, both PvP and PVE is just awful. The anti SOD setup usually includes 18-20 cannons in a dense setup in the front or back for example. Anything but pretty besides not what balance is about.
  21. I work with databases daily. They picked the hard way. They simply made yet another bad call on how they wanted game mechanics. And the result gameplay wise have been very poor. Multiple fixes with a downside of their own. How did they even imagine boarding a ship in PvP would be like, sinking while they fight on the deck due to over crew count?
  22. I would consider all the PvE fixes as a disaster. They only had to count company crew/weight or even allow unlimited of both with speed reductions. Instead we have gotten more high-tech fixes with at best mixed results, worst case disasterous (floating players, wild animals etc...yes wild life floats on boats too!).
  23. The bookcase and teal coloured allies seems to be the biggest items for me. Can´t say I am hyped, far from.
