There's a luxury passenger cart that really has no purpose besides looking nice while someone carts me around... But that's not enough. I dream of more impressive looking multi horse carts meant for carrying weight (water barrels even) and people. I dream that i can build a luxury boat that will show off my remarkable ingame progress and profits from my adventures/wars and hunts. I dream of a shinie/ unique looking speedboat that i can flex on fools that see me when i'm at freeport checking up on profit from the trading kiosks and placing hits on disrespectful dogs that dare talk sh*t about my crew. I dream of a cool looking boat for recruiting that shows off the company's emblem and colors. I dream of a special gold chest/display that will show off my gold and loot that i put into it. I dream of a fight pits island or colosseum in freeport grids and being able to bet gold on a gladiator i sponsor in the fight pits. I dream of being that gladiator at my leisure, slaughtering and being slaughtered by all who dares enter the arena, in a duel or in a battle scenario where i fight for coin and glory instead of taking the opponents loot. I dream of my top hat skin being worth 100's of thousands of gold that will display my power, wealth and determination to pull through all the pain and suffering that comes with playing an early access survival mmo. Tell us your dreams.

don't worry, they'll fix it eventually. I got faith. im, in the same boat too. i'm not playing regularly again until the content drop or a wipe. if they were smart, they'd wipe the same day as the next content drop. many would come back.

honestly, when i still played, i stopped using gun ports altogether because they're basically worthless now because of the large cannon spam you can put on top deck. i mean, why spread your shots out when you can take out a ship with one shot with a grouped up and stacked large cannon broadside. Id like to see this nerfed too.

Tames are important resource gathering tools and essential for offense and defense, point blank. Back when I still played, an update made it so snakes and other assorted pests no longer got blocked from spawning for one reason or another and started spawning in buildings and such. What I ended up having to do was make a barn on stilts (pillars) to store my beasts. Worked well even though in the beginning, it was a pain in the ass and i lost some tames.

Honestly, at this point, a wipe would be a good idea. Let me give you some background as to why i believe a wipe would be cool. I have 540 hours ingame and by that point there really wasn't much left to do in the game except pvp. i am part of an 60 person active gaming community and we came to atlas and gained a bad taste in our mouths from the rough start, but we pushed on. We found an island on the first day and went from there. Pushed threw all the issues (way to many to list) and built ourselves a great base with everything the game had to offer (tames, ships, defensive and offensive metas, content, etc.). We developed a tight nit alliance and secured our grids. We took on dynasty and after months of battles, griefing, and straight up hell, dynasty summoned their hordes from their alliance and wiped our alliance and our grids fell. It was a long fight, and fun at times too. But mostly hell.. unplayable lag spikes from a super overpopulated server during the war (200+ ppl) to shitty game mechanics that made the battle into bullshit (npc cannon bears, render distance and so many more)... After that, most of us were burnt out and didnt have it in us (or time) to do what it would take to conquer a new land under the current state the game was. Most of us literally sacrificed our lives. Some of us lost jobs and relationships to keep our community going under the onslaught of constant war (24/7) with an alliance that outnumbered us 30 (or more really) to one. Now, things are looking up with all the updates and it seems like they're almost done with fixing the core game mechanics recoding and are about to focus on content. Now would be a good time to refresh the game in time for the content. Open the gates to returning players. wipe the server on content release day. that way, new and returning players will have an easy chance to grab land and establish themselves. Make people work their way up with current content and the new, thus keeping the interest and hype going in between content drops. Cuz im tellin ya, this game is dying and i know for a fact many thousands of people would come back with a wipe on content drop day. Dont gotta do it every content release day, but im tellin ya... people will come back. I will come back lol.

I like your ideas man. Agree wholeheartedly. But, you see i'm the instant gratification kinda dude that likes to land based pvp. I liked sea battles, but my favorite thing was grappling onto a ship (before NPC puckles were a thing) and having an up close and personal fight with a ships crew. I'd love to see a battlegrounds/fight pits/gladiator arena. maybe instanced... maybe an island in freeport grids that you could pull up, place bets, and duel people. instanced would be good to even out the playing field with stats/gear, or distribute rewards. I'm just sayin, this game needs more viable land battles to keep it spicy.. but damn, up close and personal melee battles don't exist anymore unless you're getting zerged. ALSO: when i was playing so much that i lost my job and toughed it out till my grid and alliance got wiped by dynasty and gang, i did build a gladiator pit and i did host fights with my alliance. the down side was that you couldn't fight your own crew. they had to join another company or you had to restrict fights to alliance company vs. alliance company. I intended to make a big tournament but it kinda sucked. Parrying dont really work but dodging is kinda fun. Melee needs a touch up dev's. i got faith in you. Make us proud.

i think there should be a cap for heavies on the top side. force people to use gun ports.

the fountain and age wouldn't be so bad if they actually put some effort into it... made the caves different from one another and made traps or puzzles instead of super monster spam

I spent at least $4500 in Elder Scrolls online, across all my platforms, just for skins, riding mounts and speed increases on my characters mounts.. i did it because they put new major content in almost monthly with thousands of ways to make your character look unique, special titles, excellent pvp and excellent role playing elements... theres 10's of thousands of people like me that did too. 5 years later it's still one of my favorite games for pvp and they're still adding new content. Grapeshot needs to take a lesson in MMO's, and that's not an insult, it's a suggestion. I want this game to succeed. Unfortunately, im one of the 40k people that are taking a break from atlas till grapeshot gets a clue. id spend that kind of money on atlas if they did too, easy.

im sure everyone knows. the only ones who think or say everything is fine are the ones in the mega tribes that don't feel the impact of the mechanic's failure. im sure they know also but don't want to lose their grip on the power they hold so they fight to keep it the same. soon they will be all who is left playing. im certainly not gonna waste any more my time building on a game in this state. i suggest just walking away for a few months and pick it up later and see what if anything has really changed. the devs are too slow to act or don't seem to really appreciate feedback so im done trying to talk about this. chow.

believe it or not, that wouldnt fix anything. the chinese zergs are tiny compare to the dynasty owo and tpg zergs. what's worse is the fact that mega companies like dynasty have sister companies like destiny which bypass company limits just by alliancing together. the chinese are nothing. might as well let them stay.

See, myself and most of my 60 man guild are taking a break too. Mainly because at 540 hours in game, there's a distinct lack of content other than pvp and defending against pvp. having to no life the game and interrupt your life (i lost my job because of this shit lulz) or your 500 hours of work gets destroyed in an offline raid/wipe by a mega tribe (which ended up happening when i went back to work lmaooo).. then there's balance issues where large tribes ruin the game at every chance they get via hacking/duping . I personally believe large tribes should be restricted to limited (defensive) pvp simply because they dominate every single company they cross paths with just for the lulz and taxes, therefore ruining the game for everyone else. also, it would incentivise groups to keep smaller if they want to be pirates/raiders/asshats. We will see what happens with the future updates but im not holding my breath. more access to trade and bounties won't mean much when all there's left is mega tribes who already tax their slaves (conquered small tribes they convinced to pay tax or lose all their land) and get everything they want anyways... so, i don't expect things to pick up and make this game worth playing until the mega tribe and mega tribes allying together with other mega tribes issue is addressed and fixed. But we'll see won't we.

I have never seen such ignorance. I am a loyal player of ark (and other games) and have the base games and all dlc bought and payed for on ALL my consoles and pc. I'm sure theres some that will quit that are loyal like me, but I'm also sure that will be because of the Chinese not on wildcards ability to deliver a satisfying game experience. Haters gonna hate.. But remember the devs are listening and criticism is only one way to go about it. And for the devs that read this. We love you and we got faith you're gonna do your damnedest to make Atlas the game to end all other games. Now region lock the Chinese and get a better server host ffs. The ping is disgusting. Iv over 220 hours and I'm going mad. Atlas is electronic crack. Bring out some more skins. Get some quests going. Add pirate songs like assassin's Creed black flag. Let's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I love you.
