  1. moved this to the suggestions section
  2. Please do not create a company recruitment thread on the forum. There is a Companies section on the site for recruiting (where you already made one).
  3. you need to learn the shipyard (I think it is the small shipyard?) in order to craft the raft
  4. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor Edit GameUserSettings.ini Look for ResolutionSizeX= ResolutionSizeY= Edit those with the resolution you want and save, start the game Example: ResolutionSizeX=1920 ResolutionSizeY=1080
  5. Discord is probably the one to use. Free to make a server and you can create text and voice channels (open mic or push to talk).
  6. That is the work of the Company permissions set to not allow certain ranks from destroying objects. You will have to get someone with the power to change the permissions or give you the rank that allows it. It is an intended feature to give companies control over who can do what and also to prevent insiders (or untrustworthy) people from destroying everything the company made. The same can be done for taming ownership and access levels to certain animals, containers, anything people can interact with (that is how it worked in Ark anyway).
  7. My guess is that since the game is a huge map (on official) some islands could have various supplies of metal or none at all. Could also be that there are a lot of people already on the island and farmed it all up. I can only assume that the game is designed to have certain resources scattered around the world based on the biomes. The game just seems to be all bout traveling and exploring of the various islands and sea, so you may not see everything you need on one island. In this case, you have to travel distances to get what you need or trade for it from other players (player merchant role/gameplay?). If this is true, then they did think it through, since that would be the point of the game and why ships exist. From steam page: MMO On the Grandest Scale Physically sail in real-time across the vast oceans with the proprietary server network technology. Explorers will voyage to over 700 unique landmasses across 45,000 square kilometers, with thousands of Discovery Zones, and ten distinct world regions each having their own unique resources, creatures, secrets, and environment hazards! There is a separate PvE ATLAS for players who don't wish to play any PVP. Construct the Ship of Your Dreams, Plank by Plank! Build drydocks and start with a dinghy rowboat, basic raft, tiny sloop or nimble schooner, moving on up to your own versatile brigantine or titanic galleon capable of transporting hundreds of crew and extensive cargo. Name your ship in big bold letters, paint and copy your own pirate flag and custom-place all the pieces of your ship -- which sails and where, planks and gunports, every single structure piece has a physical Weight and Material -- to function exactly how you want.
  8. I believe it is while taking control of the raft/boat Hold Shift+A or D (or Q and E) to turn the sails
  9. L11 is a Lawless island, there is no NPC to help you get a raft. You have to learn the engrams, gather the materials and craft a raft/boat to leave it. OR as mentioned above, wait for someone to pick you up on their raft/boat.
  10. If you are looking for a company/crew to join, please browse the Companies section and join any that interest you: https://www.playatlas.com/index.php?/clubs/
  11. If you are looking for a Compnay/Crew to join, feel free to browse the Companies section and join any that interest you: https://www.playatlas.com/index.php?/clubs/
  12. Place a wall and while it is still green you should see the text "Type" (I think it was called that), etc at the bottom left of the screen...press the hotkeys there to cycle through the wall types until you see the door frame. Not sure about fishing, I haven't tried it yet.
  13. Die in game and then you will get a selection screen with the map and options at the bottom of the screen to respawn or make a new pathfinder.etc
  14. Refunds are handled by Steam, not by Grapeshot. You will have to request it from them, either through their automatic process (if you have less than 2 hours played) or send a ticket to them on Steam's site.
  15. I believe Nitrado and Survival Servers have Atlas servers for rent.
  16. The streamers that were showing off the game early were on a separate server. Those servers were shut down and wiped for Official servers However, some streamers might be starting up their own private unofficial servers.
  17. There is no ETA at this time, for now there is only NA and EU.
  18. Please do not create recruitment threads/posts on the forum, recruitment belongs in the Companies section.
  19. There is an official Atlas discord, however it would be much better to make your own Company discord if you want multiple channels and permissions, etc. The official discord allows you to make one voice channel (which is temporary using a bot), but no text channels. https://discord.gg/playatlas You can discuss many things about the game here and there is a text channel to advertise Companies.
  20. There isn't any steam connection/link for accounts to the site. If you make a company on the site it is only for the site as a way to recruit and advertise here. You still have to make your Company in game and invite people to it in game.
  21. If you want to recruit for your Community/Company for Atlas, please use the Companies section on the site: https://www.playatlas.com/index.php?/clubs/
  22. This is the same creation system used in Ark (with tweaks) and chances are it is here to stay. It gives people the freedom to look however they want, including the most zany characters.
  23. Please do not create recruitment threads/posts on the forum, recruitment belongs in the Companies section (where you already have one made).
