Hope you all realise, that if it takes 4 hours to "cook" it, it'll probably take some time for them to upload it, install it and for us to download it as well. So put off any ideas of playing anytime soon. Has anyone thought to ask what size the download is expected to be?

Games like these aren't made for people who work or have lives.. they're for those that don't. The mass unwashed.. hehe. And disabled folks like me. School kids n College grads with time on their hands. But not for people who have to earn a living.. you're considered casual players. Noone markets a game for you. Maybe pacman.. War tokens will always work in favour for those using them, they'll never want to use them when it suits the defender, but when the defender is known to mostly be offline.

This kind of work takes time, the biggest problem in developing games, are community managers who keep saying YES to the community and making promises the developers themselves cannot keep. It will take time. People might give bosses an estimate of several hours, because that's what they know the boss wants to hear, but it doesn't make anything go any faster.. except maybe in hollywood movies. If someone says it'll take 3 days and they respond you have 1.. it'll still take 3 days. It'll be out when it's out. Until then we wait and complain about it. That's the human way!!

The PTR is a cigarette butt to the poor addict, that a whole packet is to the rich one. People will play it just to get by, to scratch that itch. It's the moldy carrot on the broken stick.. Pirates, sea based bandits, highwaymen.. thieves and robbers, murderers and cowards. They all existed since the dawn of man. Since one ape picked up a stick or rock coverted by another, there have been pirates in the world.

I just can't get into Game of Thrones at all. After about the 3rd or 4th season I just found it boring. Although I watched it all hanging on like a flee on a dog. The thought of watching seasons 6 & 7.. nah, I don't want to die yet. Edit : I did find the Hodor storyline very sad/good. But otherwise I think the show just helped me sleep more. That said I did watch Ghostrider and V for Vendetta before going to sleep.. I think it is both sad and farsical, that a developer has to lead it's playerbase by only a few hours.. to try to keep them at bay. 2k for example bring out patches every 6 months.. which then utterly ruins a game and it still has 30-40k people logging in to play it. Who will then wait another 6 months for a patch to fix the last one. Imagine Atlas players doing that?

I'll go watch some telly.. if it's on in the morning all's cool.. at least likely the freeports will be empty by then and I'll have the place to myself.. then I'll be able to sail my raft/ramshackle sloop to other people's islands and see what's going down..
