  1. Just died twice in rapid succession. Not poisoned, overeating, drowning, falling, starving, hydrated.. my health just went from full to zero. Respawned, inside house, died again. Respawned. Nothing.. picked up stuff, carried on. Was two x Cold fronts at same time, Raining. I8 Na Pve.
  2. About time too. All those foundations spammed out by players who quit 3-5 weeks ago.. still covering islands.. housing that has been raided, floors broken below only the lockers to steal stuff, leaving the skeleton of the house to stand for all time.. blocking spawns etc. Bout time it was activated.
  3. Makes our company of 25 look like a small group of solo players.
  4. See this is the problem.. It actually is. Is it a fair exploit? Maybe.. but it is exploiting the games mechanics. The hydra should get an aggressive swim speed upgrade and the ability to attack with ranged at ships. It should also move away from targets it cannot access, ie those on towers.. etc. Like torpor damage does to dinos in ark. People should have to tame packs of elephants, bears, tigers etc to kill mythical creatures with.. not resolve these by using simple mechanics exploits. And the taming process should be streamlined to enable people solo or in groups to do this. Also 9 stones? Really.. was 10 just too boring? Why not just 4.. once you've killed 4 hydras.. they're almost as boring to kill as 4 whales.. or well 4 anything. Make the game fun again, take out the grinding and obvious exploitable mechanics. Everyone should be in the Ice Caves.. not the few tag along solo's leeching off the work of big companies. Also keep the 9 power stone locations, just allow 4 stones to summon the kraken, maybe have different krakens spawn for different combinations of 4 powerstones.
  5. Should add firework like rockets.. Hwacha style.. maybe with a slight rng flightpath for extra fun.
  6. Fishing net is essentially just a fishing rod for a moving ship. The rewards are fish meat and a few gold.. literally 2-3g.. It's the same stupid minigame for fishing rod that's in ark.. press QWE, ASD, ZXC.. randomly.. zzzzZZZzzzzz.... no thanks. Should just be, stick net over side. It gathers random amounts of fish over time. No gold. No stupid minigame.
  7. So started taming a 17.. but a tiger came along and killed it. Then started taming a 19, but ants kept spawning and scorpions etc and they ruined the proficiency or basically got in my way. So I made a pen, but the 22 I was trying to tame just kept repeatedly hitting the walls and thrashing around, resetting itself back to 0%.. Using Wheat, all profs, except whale, music. Doesn't seem to be any way of taming them except maybe to build a stone trap about 12x12x4 with medium gates and hoping the thing will drop so it isn't half way through a wall. Remember when taming used to be fun and well.. abit easier.. this new taming method.. frankly, it's boring. A thrashing around elephant, does not equal more challenge or more fun. All other methods require people to be depended on, which isn't exactly reliable.

Depends on the durability of the legendary shipyard and it's individual quality level, which is an rng generated number on creation, so a decent leg or mythical might give you 170% or it might give you 129%.. some are 210% and so on. I've seen posts of people claiming a 210% gives roughly 52 levels. Which isn't really worth it, +10 levels isn't really much of a difference, given the sheer boredom of collection of all the parts. You might as well build using a common large, then rebuild your ship using leg/myth/mw planks and decks, ceilings, walls and cannons etc. The higher planks etc are worth having.. at least, until gs nerf those to the point of utter uselessness as well, because someone in a pvp game managed to kill someone else and it was too hard for the looser to accept.
  9. I wonder if they'll have an entire future generation who'll think their blood is blue or green or some other colour and will freak out when they stumble and find out it's actually red. As for buying a new copy of the game.. doesn't snail give the game away for free? Isn't that how communism works..
  10. Next time you make a game, please don't use the same rubbish that so utterly fails in ark. And if you're adding new gates, make them snap to something.. a fence post a foundation, anything.. oh and the half way point.. it should actually be half way. Not slightly off to one side, more or less in the middle. And the gates should be 4 tiles/fence sections high, not 3 and 4/7's Tell whoever the 5th party contractor doing the work for you.. to do their job properly to ingame already in place measurements.
  11. It used to be you put a locker on the cargo saddle like a cannon or swivel gun but when I try now, nothing happens. Doesn't work for either large or small lockers. There is no placement option.
  12. This thing with ranks not working, with inability for non admin/owners being unable to remove stuff from their own ships is simply unacceptable. I had no idea as a company owner, that this was the case, but in my current company, the stress of having to continually ask for someone to come and remove some object that snapped to the wrong location or having to "put up with it" when noone is online to remove it.. is just untenable. It must be a nightmare for mega companies to have to deal with this stuff. If you can't get companies and ranks to work.. don't add the concept to the game until you can.

I fell asleep at daughters today.. woke up with lipstick on, eye liner one, that concrete stuff they put on their faces on.. only it wasn't where the stuff is supposed to go.. my grand daughter obviously thought my face was a bit of paper.. and apparently my wife helped her.. I guess it's a female thing. And for my 2 balls.. I was sure I used to only get 1 per cycle of crafting.. maybe I'm thinking of crossbow bolts or balistra bolts or something. But I calculated for 100 large cannon balls.. and came back to 370... so clearly my maths suck.
  14. This also goes for multiple bases, large useless empty bases, multiple shipyards, multiple tames, farms, markets etc.. and of course foundation and piller spam. Hell.. if people removed their traps after use.. that alone would reduce overall server lag by a big amount. As for op complaint, if I understand it right, that he is losing ships because he never visited them for 10 days.. well that's his fault and everyone else shouldn't need to suffer for it. If however, he is loosing ships that are less than 10 days absent, then that's a bug and should be submitted as one.
  15. I'm sure i used to get 1 large cannonball per creation, when did it become 2 or has it always been and i'm just getting old? Or maybe I'm thinking of balistra bolts? In which case change my post to "Hey, why don't we get 2 for the price of the parts?"
  16. 900 hours in atlas and it never even occured to me to try to put them on rocks or trees..
  17. Open a newly made locker and it says inside 0/45 but outside it says 0/100... Ah it only actually updates when you put more than 45 items into them. Then it shows the correct limit with a scroll bar in the inv. There is however a typo on internal amount. My locker now has 75/45 items..

  19. What dis mean? Bit confused by it. Everytime I've demo'd a wall etc the wall hook produced a bag with the lantern in it.. so what's changed? What's a demolishable resource?
  20. Swim outside boat to rudder, hit rudder with brush.
  21. Where you've added new islands or moved islands to add additional islands has put the atlas map out of sync with the ingame atlas. It needs to be updated as currently I can be sailing right through an island on the map, that isn't actually there anymore in the game.
  22. After sailing into an area, jumping onto island, sometimes, there's no update, no discoverie.. and running around endlessly, even dying or relogging does nothing to fix it. Seems to be worse on islands that are built up.   23. I was being hit by brigs on left and right and my crew kept dismounting the cannons and sails.. eventually the sotd sank me. Game cannot be played if this is how it is supposed to be progressed. Now it could be because they're all lv 1 crew.. or it could be because of how the ship was built.. but even if they dismount the cannons etc, they shouldnt mount them at all, if there's an issue with the ships design etc. As it stands it doesn't work. Esp dismounting sails. I've not had the same issue yet, under fire on new ship.. so maybe it was something with the design etc.. dunno tbh.
