  1. You want the game to succeed? Could have fooled me. Do you not see how review bombing and spamming the same bs over and over is counterproductive to that goal? It's been a month. ONE MONTH. The only thing GS has done to merit this kind of toxic behavior is the changes to stone, and guess what, not everyone cares about a little metal and paste for stone. Some just wanted the costs reduced (I"ll remind you that it was by 55% and 25% respectively). They're listening and taking notes of your feedback but you can continue to choose to ignore those facts if you want.
  2. It finally happened guys. I'm officially a shill. Can't wait to get my first hackusation in PvP! Get real... he was spamming. It's against ToS. I'd like to add that your purchase bought you no authority. It bought you the privilege to express your opinion throughout development. There is a difference.
  3. Patience is a virtue. Call it whatever you want I have plenty of things to complain about regarding Atlas and the workflow at Grapeshot but whining on the forums like a child is not productive.
  4. You should peruse politics. You know what temporarily fixes it? Relaunching the game. From my experience I've noticed this issue is more common on older hardware. Maybe instead of posting this in GD you could submit the bug and your specs like you're supposed to. Just a suggestion.
  5. The pick is the best tame for thatch. Bear sucks, Rhino sucks, Giraffe, Bull, Pig, you name it they all suck, Ostrich is oddly best out of them all but still sucks...
  6. Can I have some of that salt? I need it for cooking.
  7. They have 3 production pipelines. Those working on the content are not the ones working on the technical side of things.
  8. I'm a little intoxicated and can't help myself.
  9. Oh, nono. The scale is certainly in their favor. The game is rigged.
  10. I'd argue that revealing the inner workings of your process can and has been a downside. You don't get to polish that turd first its in the wide open for anyone to buy a ticket to see. That's the sailor's way. There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining, is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing. So the danger must be growing! Are the fires of Hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing! For the rowers keep on rowing and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. Point is who knows how things would be if they didn't use EA because they did and they can only move forward from here.
  11. Then you need to do more testing stat. And double down on those tests because your results are shocking!
  12. Linux knows the feels. Should come in time but there is no ETA
  13. They specifically mentioned the galleon but yes you are correct. Not all decks can be cycled. i think if you're choosing to fill out an entire deck you should just use a solid deck.
  14. What? The bottom deck is the only one that cant be hollow. Just like regular pieces you can cycle through solid and hollow decks with T.
  15. I can confirm the quality exceeds 10. I have seen 12.0 ratings
  16. SoTD, Floatsam, and Spouts are the majority of content at sea. Just because they haven't come up with anything different yet* doesn't mean they won't.
  17. Correct but it is a better approach than grabbing the first data set you can find and then posting that data with a conclusion based soley off correlation. I've already seen multiple people quote 30day numbers saying things like "I knew the game was dying here the proof" Except it's not substantial and threads like these perpetuate that perception. Any data is better than no data at all but more data is even better. That's why these forums exist in the first place. Companies used to be sheltered from their consumers but now we're on their doorsteps 24/7.
  18. You can take a poll. Doesn't have to be everyone that left for these specific reasons but obviously for accuracy the more the better. If the numbers line up even slightly then guess what? There's another pound of correlation to add to scales. You still have more work to do. That's the issue with jumping to conclusions on topics like these. Its difficult to build an accurate representation of reality.
  19. Fair enough. Except for one thing. A deductive argument is sound if and only if it is both valid, and all of its premises are actually true.
  20. If I had the energy and desire to pour into this theory then I would but I don't. Which is why I instead opted to point out the flaws with the reasoning and correlations. But since I don't plan to offer anything other than that I'll digress.
  21. Re-read the OP's last sentence. They conclude and imply that the specific reason(s) for the decline are due to the changes listed above. They used correlation AS causation. Whichas I stated before does not hold water on its own.
  22. Yes. read the comment again Correlation != causation. Full Stop. At least this is a better attempt than others. Full Stop. Nowhere did I try to discredit the data or the points that OP highlighted.
