  1. There was a really solid topic going around a couple weeks ago about some features that could be added to divert the possibility of Offline Raiding. To the Offline Raid protection idea the basis of it is if no company members are online, ships and buildings belonging to that company get a significant damage resistant buff, requiring the raiding company to expend 75% more resources to bust a base open. For ships specifically and something that could help all players of zergs and solo, is to add "Freeport" cities for mid to late game where it is much bigger and more stable and would allow players to store schooners, brigs and galleons for a price of gold per day based on ship design. Also allow players to purchase warehouses to store goods and materials. All while both the ships and the materials are protected and cannont be stolen by players. The last idea I had came up with is a PvP leaderboard with Online Raiding as its core. If a company that is online gets raided the raiding company gets points that adds to their standing on the leaderboard. The more players online from the defending company, the more points you earn is the basics of it. Promotes raiders to scout out places to raid trying to figure out when they are gonna be online and what their peak hours are. In short, this is an avenue the developers can take to promote Online Raiding.
  2. Giant gates just got nerfed into the ground. Both the gateway and the gate now require a total of 300 alloy to build, along with the other resources. So, once the other gateways get destroyed (if ever), you should see a lot less of them. I will say though, because of these gateways, I'm raiding for practically free at the moment. Since most gates are outta the way from a companies regular foot traffic (there are a lot of gates in the water), I'll place a claim down and demolish that shit and get a good chunk of resources out of it XD
  3. Should change the ability to grapple on to a ship if you are submerged in water. Doesn't make sense.
  4. I've noticed that where me and my company currently live, that the animals seem to be respawning too fast. Before v10. we would kill the wolves and the lions and whatever else and wouldn't have to worry about anything for about 30 minutes to an hour. Now however, groups of wolves and lions are spawning about every 5 to 10 minutes. Feels like a huge hassle having to constantly stop what your doing to secure the grounds around you from predators, especially since you can't one shot any annoying level 1-10 wolves and lions.
  5. Can you be more specific? Are you talking about character stats/levels/skills? Or a tames level stats etc. Talking about some sort of item?
  6. For some reason I had a post about this already up but it was taken down. Don't know why. Anyways, temporary fix for this is to relog and you should be able to access the tames inventory.

  9. This is a temporary fix and I'm sure people posting already have tried this, but leaving the game and then joining back up will fix this.
  10. So, last night a group of players landed, fully kitted out in armor and weapons with grappling hooks and explosive barrels and sunk just about every companies ship within an hour. I'm not entirely sure what the resource cost of the explosive barrel is but it needs to be nerfed. I suggest making it to where it can only be dropped in water so enemy ships will hit them as they sail (of course with the explosive barrel despawning after a certain amount of time so they don't linger or can be picked up by players). Another idea is making it to where explosive barrels can't do damage to anchored ships. Another idea is increasing the fuse time to 3 minutes to allow players to defuse (one way they can balance this is if they take damage the defuse attempt is cancelled). Pretty sad to see that I lost my first brig last night, but I pity the other company that was on the island with us who pretty much lost their entire fleet of ships, they had like 3 brigs and about 8 schooners that got blown to hell last night in quick succession.

Me and a friend were out gathering resources and ally chat explodes with one of our allies claiming that one of their brigs just took 5,000,000 damage and soon after followed by its sunk. 20 minutes later, 10 more ships are sunk. This is what happened. A player, fully kitted out with armor and weapons, used a grappling hook to get onto all the ships and placed an explosive barrel on the top deck. Because of the amount of damage it does, it blows through 2 decks. The player drops down into the bottom deck and then place more explosive casks to start sinking the ship, with the ship sinking about 30 secs after the explosion. In total 4 brigs and 6 schooners were sunk in 20 minutes. Could do absolutely nothing about it because it happened so fast and you can't kill them because any damage you try to do on this game isn't going to be quick enough to get rid of em. And unfortunately for those living there, I'm pretty sure the entire island is going to lose everything because of these barrels because they don't seem to have any short of barrels to use. Explosive barrels need to be nerfed into the ground. The only thing they SHOULD be used for is throwing them off the back of your ship as sea mines.
  12. Well they said a couple days again they were going to release a major update but due to an issue with companies they had to revert the changes. What was going to happen was that players weren't going to be able to spawn at lawless regions anymore and a lot of players speculated that the lawless regions would revert back to regular islands.
  13. If I'm not mistaken, the lawless regions were created to help with the extreme load of players trying to spawn in correct? So from what I understand, the hype train is going down and companies that are sufficiently established are losing players left and right and my allies and me are picking them up in our respective companies, so spawning into freeports shouldnt be an issue. Will the lawless regions revert back to normal islands for my land claim opportunity?
  14. Maybe I dont understand what the cargo saddle does or maybe I just dont know how to use it properly, so hopefully someone can help me lol. I have a horse, with a cargo saddle equipped. I was under the impression that I would be able to place boxes on the cart so the horse can carry stuff to and from locations. Not only can I not do that, but I am just walking through the cart like its nothing. Am I doing something wrong or is the cargo saddle currently bugged
  15. I am not able to change the tames behavior to "Attack your Target". I tried going through the E menu and hitting the keybind.
  16. I understand the nerf from a PvP perspective, but jesus the bow got nerfed into the ground. I mainly use a bow to kill the thousands of animals that spawn on my beaches that wish to kill me 10 times over. Now its not even worth using since the bow breaks so damn quick so now I have to go either fully armored with my favorite melee weapon or pick up a flintlock and some ammo to deal with the incursion of death that is constantly on my beaches. Either balance the animal spawns or revert the bow durability nerf.

  18. Human Breeding is an intended feature but its not ready yet and they hopefully hope to get it out before a player gets to 100 lol and there is technically scuba diving. There is a diving attachment you can attach to your ship which will allow you to stay under water longer.
  19. It'd also be nice if you could carry water barrels on and off the ships so that you can go out empty and bring back full stuff, and even dump those barrels into reservoirs

  21. Can we have a bit more interaction with water spouts that are created via the shovel. That way those water spouts can be used for irrigation and eventually farming. The lack of water is a huge issue and I don't think I've seen a proper farm with working pipe (most players are just getting water into the pouches and dumping it into the farm plot). Thus, we haven't, or at least I haven't been able to explore cooking properly yet since I can't farm.
  22. I have to believe that the ghost ship spawning is still bugged in some areas. In my particular instance, the server is I6 and we encounter 8 ghost ships all in one area. Get through that and we encounter 4 more ghost ships on the way to the island we were visiting. There has to be something going on with the spawning because the way they are clustered up like that is insane.
  23. For whatever reason, my fps drops to below 1 whenever I open up a wardrobe full of treasure maps.
  24. Technically speaking, you can make any ship you build into a trading barge. Doesn't have to be a specific ship type. Thats what one of my brigs are doing atm. Has the minimal of defense but a shit ton of storage with horses+carts to go out and farm up a shit ton of resources to bring back to the ship. The only difficult thing about it is trying to get the animals back on the ship. I've had issues with getting the horse on a dingy and then picking the dingy back up on the dingy hangar, they keep falling off for some reason.
  25. They probably took the day off. Servers probably need a good long restart as I haven't had any disconnects today. Hopefully some updates and restarts tmw.
