Yeah I know, sorry, I spent an hour searching for such a thing, and I didn't know of a program that used extracted info. That website is still quite good though, so I thought I would link it for you. I would guess that the animals you have were leveled up in the useful stats, and unlike ark, their inventory shows how much points they get per level. So, when I found a whole bunch of animals, I went around looking at the stats that most likely did not get leveled up, and compared how much pts per level they got. If that makes sense? Just breed the best male with all your females, and then eventually start breeding in the other rescue males you got just in case they have good stats. I don't know how to code unfortunately, but ark smart breeding is open source so hopefully someone will make such a thing for atlas. I can't imagine it would be too difficult, as atlas breeding is copy pasted.

This reminds me of the diplo in ark. IDK if the devs can make sailing a compelling experience. IDK how to sail, but I'm sure it's an activity that could be considered fun. To replicate that fun in a video game, would be something that is not shallow, as opposed to riding along on the diplo derpy derp bus. The devs had that core idea of having incentives in the form of buffs for human players to be on a ship. There was a patch that made it so that humans could reload cannons quicker than NPCS. I think there was also a patch which made .... NVM, it's my bed time

I think nutcutt3r means there will be 6 people playing if there is no wipe. Which is kinda harsh, obviously, hehe. I just don't understand why people bother to keep spamming about this wipe stuff. The game needs to be improved to the point where a wipe doesn't matter due to the game being compelling enough that everybody wants to play, as opposed to the current situation where the wipe (.... and xbox release.....) doesn't really matter because of the stagnant game play. If there is more than 6 people because there is a wipe, what is the difference in the game play that has afforded such an amount of people? A wipe or not, or even the timing of an announcement of a wipe, should not have such an effect on the player base. Communication from the devs, that shows that they are actively working towards creating a game that deserves the biggest player base ever, would make such talk trivial. As the game is still being developed, it can be argued that anything will save it. The "wipe will save the game" crowd are doing the same thing as that guy who kept posting about dragons who steal your gold.

Game mechanics is getting shot before you see anything? Getting shot before anything is rendered in, if it's a minute, even if it's 5 seconds, is not fun. Are you saying your PC takes 5 seconds to render after zoning, and that's fine? I use a weight gally, and I've nearly lost it many times. Those close calls were fun to me because I was able to avoid sinking, as I have knowledge of in-game mechanics. However, when I zoned into a whale, or group of 3 gally sotd, when there was nothing I could do to prevent it, no amount of knowledge on the game was going to stop me from thinking to myself "this isn't fun, how can this be fixed?". The whale spun the gally around 20 times (that part was fun) sending the animals on deck flying into the polar waters, and it took hours to get the animals safely back. I avoided the polar for about a month after that happened. edit: seems it's only 'not fun' because they are sotd, so Inigo is possibly somewhat correct. If the sotd (or whales I get stuck in) were other players, it would be less aggravating.

This thread made me into a chucklehead, hehe. I'm not sure if quite have everything right here. The token provides a claim, and within this claim there may (or, may not) be indestructible buildings. Nothing has a timer however, which is the important part. It's possible to place upkeep to extend your claim. The claim is what defines land ownership, otherwise we got cute guest houses. If I had indestructible buildings, and didn't own a claim, what happens? I need to own a claim to build, or my buildings are not indestructible, and also to get the benefit of the token claim system?

Well, that didn't take much time to figure out how to exploit that mechanism. I can't see how making land structures indestructible changes that? Doesn't that just remove the need for a mechanism, really?
