I would like to see warehouses behave more like a Crew Silo as far as range and placement availability so that even smaller players can place one down to allow access to the market, even if they have to manually stock and larger companies with lots of gatherers down dont have to place multiple warehouse to cover the areas.. (one per Island per company that covers the whole island)

Ok, so even though I've spoken to players about the markets who have been able to get theirs working, I still can't get mine to work. I've followed some advice, to no avail. I'm putting in a link for a screenshot I took to show the placement. The foreground is the corner of the warehouse, and you can see the market in the shot too. My question is: Does it look like everything is close enough to the water/shore to work? I'm certain the warehouse is no more than 30 meters from the shore. Help and advise to get things running would be appreciated. Imgur Link: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

HI, 2 days ago i placed a warehouse on a lawless island in D4, today i got raided (idk by who) and when i try to replace my destroyed warehouse it just says "Can't place structure here" even though i did place it there 2 days ago. i've done some walking around and found out i cant place the warehouse anywhere not even 400 m away from the location. can anyone help please? What i think is happening is that the server doesn't register that the warehouse was destroyed and acts like it's still there even though it isn't. thank you for reading this. I am unable to place my ware house after it was destroyed. Prompt says “cannot place structure here”. There are no other warehouses nearby. Does anyone know what could be happening??

Hi, I have to say, as a returning player, there seem to be something fundamentally wrong with the system as it stands. I come back after a hiatus of 6 months or so, and am starting from scratch. I discover to my "horror" that to build something as simple as a schooner, I have to gather 5000 gold?! In addition to the other resources. Ok, that is what it is, I get that it is related to the trade system and that is fine. I suppose that this means it should be relatively easy, compared to diving and digging for treasure, to raise the 5000 gold. Right, so I build my marked. Bit expensive, but that's ok, because I am going to make a killing, right? Ok, the marked doesn't work without a warehouse... Ok, that makes sense, I suppose, so I gather the materials for a warehouse and am finally able to put it down. And this is where the logic chain breaks down. I cannot put down my warehouse, because there is apparently another one in the vicinity. I cannot see it though, which suggests, that since I have a fairly good view from my spot, the exclusion range of a warehouse is quite large. This means, that it is almost impossible, or at least very very difficult, for a small single-member trading company like myself, to get some trade going, because there isn't room to get started? There is something very very wrong with this system, if I am required to join a large trading company just to get into the trading system. Seems to me, that the exclusion range on e.g. warehouses should only apply within a company. The same goes to some extend for farmhouses, quarries, mines etc. I get that logically, there has to be a limit to the automated resource gathering in an area, but since real estate in this game is limited, it makes it incredible difficult for new players to get started. You find a nice spot, build a nice base, get ready to build a larger ship. Only to discover that you cannot put down essential structures because you're within the exclusion range of another structure that does not even belong to you. I really do not know what the intention with the system is, but there seems to be some major flaws in it.

I had a warehouse down and it was working fine, when I initially set down the marketplace it was connected. My company mate moved our warehouse a foundation or two to the left. Since then it has not been connected. I've rebuilt both structures a couple times decreasing the distance between them each time. The marketplace will still not connect to the warehouse. What am I doing wrong?

Feedback - With the new structures and implementation of markets and the economy, solo mode could use a little love. So, playing in solo mode, I've paced the new structures. The farmhouse, warehouse and market. When initially placed, they properly function, and are visible. When I exit the game and then return, these structures become invisible. They are still there, still functioning and even have collision. You can't walk through the area they were placed. But they are completely invisible. Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix for it. It's difficult to deal with. By the way, is there any functionality of the markets in solo mode? Thank you.

Make the warehouse so it can be used in water or on land, and will collect resources from all the farmhouses and the bank on one island. When interacting with the warehouse, add an option to transfer its contents to containers on a ship, inside of a base, or pulled by a tame. The concept is to give a "T" option for putting the warehouse in the water where it would become a port. Add the ability to collect from banks as well as farms and have it cover the entire island. This will reduce lag from too many structures while also allowing players to avoid having to transfer the contents by hand to the containers where it can be used.

I am intrigued as to the direction the Dev team is going and what they have planned. Along those lines, a recommendation: With what we have been shown so far, the new Trade system needs a Market. In order to have a Market, you need a Warehouse. For those companies that weren't/aren't able to place a Warehouse, it means they can't participate in the Trade system. There are a few companies that have spammed islands with Warehouses prohibiting others from placing Warehouses. While this is ok in PVP as you have the opportunity to destroy somebody's Warehouse and replace it with yours, that option isn't available in PVE. I would recommend, similar to the Silo, limiting the number of Farms and Warehouses that can be built on an island. While I know PVE isn't the focus, it would be nice if some consideration could be made for the PVE gameplay mechanics. As of now, there will be those players unable to participate in the new Trade system; making all of this work pretty much worthless to those players. Right now, in PVE, warehouses and farmhouses are abused by toxic players and/or large companies. It will only get exacerbated with the Trade system. It would be appreciated if GG would help to limit toxic behavior through game mechanics since we, on PVE, can't.

I have an idea of warehouse placement Atm we can build a number warehouse on an island and the radius cover of that warehouse determent how many farmhouse it can get the resources from. But since trading is the main sources of gold income now, warehouse become more important and every company will want 1 at less, but because the warehouse placement prevention radius, most company will not be able to put a warehouse down. So I think a good idea will be ...... only allow to place 1 warehouse per island per company, do not need the prevention radius, and coverage of the warehouse will be the whole island, just like the silo, so that way company will not spam warehouse everywhere, since only allow 1 warehouse per company per island and other company will be able to place the warehouse down as well

I’m a solo player I’ve pve and cannot for the life of me find a place to put a warehouse. Which means I cannot get to trading which means I cannot earn the amounts of gold required to build a ship. Something seriously needs to be done about this ASAP smaller companies and solo players are going to find it almost impossible to play the game and have fun. limit them to amount per player per island or something like that. please

Hello, My mates and I are encoutering some problems with the 2 new builidings. We're casual PVE players, a little tribe of about 4 members. We first had hard time finding a place to settle with all the players on the server, but when we found, there was farmhouse all around blocking us. Yesterday, when we logged back, we found a warehouse just next to the door of our base, preventing us from builiding and expending eveen a little, and access as we planned to our base. More than that, the players that built this warehouse was allowed to build a bed just next to ours. We're not totally against those buildings, if we dont really like them, but they sould at least be considered as regular builiding and souldnt be allowed to be build against the buildings of an other tribe. Currently, we're just good to prepare to pack everyting and find, again, an other 10m² to be able to do something.
