Hi guys, Any idea about how can I solve this problem? I can't connect to servers (official or not, eu or na) since day 1 I always have a Time Out error. I currently have 2 hours of playing dedicated on login and that's feel boring. Love, LeGensBon

we managed to build one (after around 6+ failed attempts. what we did was; 1) standing on the shipyard (that lower part that connects to sides 2)keep looking into inv when its about to be crafted We will be attempting to build schooner soon but idea is look in inventory and imagine boat will spawn in front of you.

Wipe the servers and have everyone spawning into the few starter zones again.. oh sounds like an amazing idea hahahaha. There are so many islands out there should not be hard to find one with not so many peeps on it.

I'm having this same issue, game starts up just fine, but when I try to join a server doesn't matter how full, empty how the Ping is which server and which spot I pick game freezes and crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled validated the files. Everything seems to be fine at at the Surface level. So no idea why this game won't let people join.

Nope. they haven't released any kind of idea to the hardware thy're using or any kind of baseline for private servers. I'd wager it's slightly more than ARK servers, since it's a highly modified ARK base.

im planning on doing the same, hoping it will work as intended.... resource wise its been difficult to find out what is needed. Do you have any idea Morghm?

cant even switch a home server due to EVERYTHING is full... well that sucks... guess i'm done for a while.... awesome fix to get everyone connected. I'm hyped about that, really i am. But... up the cap please or add even more so we can move around? also joining a non-lawless server is the worst idea ever lol. the lag there is incredible

Seriously, I don't understand how the hell the devs didn't consider this? This is a largescale MMO, with literally thousands of players, and someone thought it was a good idea to leave sleeping bodies on logout? Do you realize what the ports look like right now? Literally piled high with thousands of sleeping people, and it's causing massive lag, severe rubberbanding to the point of being literally 100% unplayable. Get rid of the bodies. Just do what literally every other MMO in history has done: Make people disappear when they log out, and reappear where they were upon logging back in. There is NO REASON for the whole 'go to sleep on logout' mechanic in an MMO. It might work for a smaller scale game like Ark, which may have like 20 players max. But a largescale MMO with thousands of players? No. If every single person who logs in and then logs off leaves a body behind, eventually you're going to literally have over 40000 bodies just lying there in the starter zones. This is ridiculous. Asking $30 for a game with issues THIS severe, after like 5 delays, is ridiculous.

I just dont think sleeping bodies should be a thing if they are trying to market this as an mmo of some kind. Having your guy sleep for a few mins after logout would be nice so people cant combat log, other than that I think it is not a good idea.

I agree, hosting it isnt very viable with costs associated to get a map of any scale worth playing. Great idea on the crowd sourcing! hopefully there are enough players in the OC/AZ area interested! I bet the lag is super bad for you guys down there.

For one its not even close to half... Secondly how is a wipe going to fix the issue? You speak about ignorance yet you have no idea wtf you are talking about. Wipe the server then larger companies will still be larger then you and go back out and reclaim the island again in a day... wiping is not the fix to the issue. Open your eyes. The problem is the game mechanics and this is the same issue Ark had. So I highly doubt any of that is going to change. Dont like it, you better refund now while you can.

Thats strange, it shows players in Lawless zones, now if there are actually people in them i have no idea. But free ports all show zero. So i just wasnt sure.

Can you download Atlas into ARK? if no, then it is not DLC Can you find ARK in Atlas, well... let's see... Same dev's, same programmers, same code, same base engine, smart people do not start from scratch if they can avoid it, saves time, money, and work... could it have started as a idea for ARK? yup, could they have begun to make a DLC? yup, did they ? nope

Hi i've a huge problem, my FPS are always the same (between 10 and 15 ) no matter if i'm in max or lowest settings, the only things that changes is my GPU usage I've a GTX 1070 i5 6500 16 go of RAM My gpu is at 20% Average, my cpu at 50% and my ram at 10/16 go Any idea to fix ?

I realized I posted in the wrong sub-forum. But it looks like a large (but not most) amount of NA PVE Grids are offline. Are you basically screwed when this happens? Because it seems you're locked out of both spawning into a new grid location with your character AND locked out of creating a new character. That's a colossal screw-up. Any idea when the assortment of grids offline will go back? Others seem online and running.

Could you say the speccs of your dedi server that will hold 36 Squares? So i have an idea what for an dedi i need. This is the App id that Nitrado got...it is not the id we need

Wish I could give you a better idea, just don't have a way of doing that at the moment.

Although whilst I do get the same error in ARK, it does not stop me from connecting to a server. In Atlas it would seem that it does. Once I get the message, it takes a little and then it pops up the "Connection Timeout" error. I've even tried connecting to private servers and get the same result. Servers which my crew can connect to without problems. I have no idea what to do anymore.

Weapons in general seem to have a weird bug happening. I was able to equip my fishing pole in slot two specifically because that's where my spear was. My bow can also only be equipped in slot two if I'm replacing my spear, and I believe vice versa. If there's no weapon already in my hotbar, my bow (and, I would assume, fishing rod) can be equipped in any slot...but when I go to place a different weapon in my hotbar, it can only go into the slot where a weapon already exists. ....I have absolutely no idea how this came about, but yeah. XD

Soo.. the age long question everyone in ARK is asking has arrived to ATLAS. any idea? I only get few pieces like from normal rocks,and we dont have Ankys here so? My guess is probably travel by raft to some islands with metal? But that will be insanely time consuming for something like you need on day to day bases... Dont seem like they thought through this one..

Hello Team, I have a bed on a raft which I have sailed far away to... I was on another island crafting my Sloop and as I finished every piece besides my sail, I died. The 5.0 came out, I reset the game and could no-longer respawn back at my bed (which I had respawned several times prior to). I'm in region M8. Any idea or help here? It would be GREATLY appreciated. I've been working on getting that Sloop going for 12 hours. Thank you,
