Okay, if you want the sleepers to remain in any capacity, then play Skyrim and spawn 5000 dragons. See how long your game lasts before crashing. Hint: It won't last very long. Same concept applies here with all the damn bodies lmao. The bodies are 99% of what's causing all of the lag, rubberbanding, etc etc. Forcing the server to load thousands of sleeping bodies is not going to work, especially as more and more people start playing, joining servers, and logging off to leave their bodies there. It works in a small scale game like Ark with MAYBE 100 players max. But it does NOT work for an MMO game, where thousands of people are playing and then logging off and leaving their bodies everywhere to lag the server. This being a """survival game""" is no excuse for that.

Think of it this way: If you're playing Skyrim, and you try to spawn 1000 Alduins, your game is going to crash. Same concept applies here.

Common sense and basic knowledge of how games work. Making the servers load 40k bodies just lying around is going to make the lag worse.

Seriously, I don't understand how the hell the devs didn't consider this? This is a largescale MMO, with literally thousands of players, and someone thought it was a good idea to leave sleeping bodies on logout? Do you realize what the ports look like right now? Literally piled high with thousands of sleeping people, and it's causing massive lag, severe rubberbanding to the point of being literally 100% unplayable. Get rid of the bodies. Just do what literally every other MMO in history has done: Make people disappear when they log out, and reappear where they were upon logging back in. There is NO REASON for the whole 'go to sleep on logout' mechanic in an MMO. It might work for a smaller scale game like Ark, which may have like 20 players max. But a largescale MMO with thousands of players? No. If every single person who logs in and then logs off leaves a body behind, eventually you're going to literally have over 40000 bodies just lying there in the starter zones. This is ridiculous. Asking $30 for a game with issues THIS severe, after like 5 delays, is ridiculous.
