  1. I had this bug yesterday when trying to get to a discovery point. Was just instant killed, no body.
  2. Interesting, if nobody else tests I may do too. Anchors do attach to rocks down below that you cant build on because they are technically structures. The extreme drop off on a lot of beach lines is very unfriendly. And it certainly wont be fixed due to the issues it would cause. Another thing you may have to worry about is dragged cyclones. The further out the higher chance to be randomly hit on your anchored ships. (They really need to cancel cyclone damage on anchored ships).
  3. I think people have the right to question and challenge something so utterly important, yet so broken. You wouldn´t like regular lost characters either.
  4. Game have sold 1-2 million. But peak is now down to 18000 players.
  5. Always speed sails, always. And if you make a brig, avoid the middle deck for weight reduction. And do not overload the ship too much. Then you wont be able to get away from whales and SOD. Keep it at 65-70%.
  6. The small islands are technically icebergs. Hence why they do not treat them as land.

  9. You are right in they don´t make sense. How would a rhino collect anything to begin with? How would a bear collect fiber? The only sole utility animal close to it´s ability is the elephant.
  10. Yep, their entire flag system is broken badly unfortunately. I don´t understand what part of the code was written to explicit allow flags within the teal coloured claim circle to override ANY other limitation. The 1 person corp will always lose to the 2 man corp this way.
  11. Relog or suicide and it works again.
  12. Create a ticket about it. He violated the code of conduct and will likely be banned and hopefully your ships restored. Despite SOD shouldn´t attack anchored ships, people just hide behind the ships so they get hit "accidently". Only way to possible protect your ships against these griefers are to fortify the habour and spend lots of food and gold on it.
  13. Don't even mention ARK. 3 years of blatant cheating and they got to keep it all and no bans.
  14. Exactly. Add an expense to flags over a certain amount. Remove dead inactive flags (Like a week after countdown reach 0). Remove all sea claims.
  15. Make a ticket about it. Unfortunately it is another semi broken game mechanic. The griefers can keep doing this cheaply, while you have to fortify your entire habour area with land based cannons to prevent it.

  17. Ye, until they reintroduce or redo the stat itself, the sturdiness stat is irrelevant for the time being.
  18. They both seems useless, assuming you have gold. Sturdiness actually seems irrelevant as it was mainly some sort of long journey counter measure. When you level up sturdiness you see the distance % decrease. A bit of accommodation can be useful for the beds.
  19. Ye the number needs tweaking, we are at 18 hours, 10 days, 10 minutes and 54 seconds. And we should more likely be 3 days bottom. 3 flags per 3 weeks sounds good, 5 flags 2 weeks etc.
  20. Upkeep on flags after an x amount of free flags per company is the solution. 1 gold per hour per flag over say 3. Free land everywhere.
  21. First attempt on a solution could be easy. 1. Remove all sea flags. (I think they even wanted this once in patch notes.) 2. 3 free flags per company, 1 gold per hour per extra flag. 3. Automatically remove flags with a set period after their timer. For example 1 week later. So assuming nobody declaim, at worst a flag would vanish after 4 weeks. 4. Remove any possible overlapping of enemy flags, including when you flag bomb. I bet you this would remove ~70-80% of all current land claims and of course all sea claims.
  22. We have the best spots, huge amounts of all resources on them. Plenty of metal nodes etc. 15% claims may leave people with the feeling it´s not worth it. Your claims may not be in a suitable good location or have a desired amount of resources on it. The second biggest land owner on the tile isn't even getting a fraction of what we get, despite high taxes. The problem on PvE is that despite having good or bad claims. Please tend to keep them because...what if? The entire claim system is designed for PvP and just smacked onto PvE without considering that it simply creates an aristocracy.
  23. It still doesn´t belong to PvE. Doesn´t matter if its 1, 5, 10 or 30%. Let´s be honest here, unless our companies stop playing or make blatant mistakes. This land is forever ours with an forever tax on it. Unlike PvP where you can actively change it and have something in return for your tax.
