  1. Been seeing a large amount of Emergency Ship Ladders being duplicated and left behind at server walls. I imagine if enough of these ladders are left floating around, it may become a load issue for the server and effect performance. I have no CCC because these are everywhere, not just 1 location. and In multiple servers, not just one.
  2. [ Is looking at Steam downloading 4.3GB starting to panic... ]
  3. Every attempt to cross the region wall into the L8 East Equatorial Freeport region results in a message saying "Travel Failed, Unable To Start Transfer," and your ship begins to sail into empty waters where it shows there should be islands.
  4. I suggest having personal lockers to put everything, or valuables, away into when logging out to prevent loss of items when this happens.
  5. IF the system works properly, yes. But nevertheless, if this 1 person is online, they can contest the claim all they want. and Claiming land still takes MANY hours, so it wouldn't be hard for this 1 person to stop them every few hours.
  6. I agree with Lailyn, here. I think the better solution would be a limit of flags per character. This would stop 1 person from claiming entire islands on PvE, knowing they will never use this land, but are only claiming it to have an entire island to themselves. While the more flags the person owns would reduce the timer, it's still ridiculous. Want more land? Recruit people or join a larger company. This would also give more incentive to have larger crews, rather than playing solo. I understand the mindset of playing solo. I'm nearly solo myself. I work a full-time 40, sometimes 50 hour a week job and this is why I play on the PvE server. I own 1 flag, and that's that. I do not want more land. But it pains me to see others looking for land to just start a base and begin settling down and building a fleet of ships... but can't because there is no land left to claim and one person owns entire islands...
  7. I wrote Shrewdale Island, I9. And I wrote: cheat TP I9 206406 -279131 8678 Which is the Dev Team's admin command to teleport there.
  8. I agree with the idea of charging a fee to anchor in your territory, but not with not being able to anchor at all in someone else's territory. My company has built a port for others to anchor safely in.
  9. OP said the Company name shows up as "????" and I can confirm this.
  10. Shrewdale Island, I9. Is this acceptable behavior? cheat TP I9 206406 -279131 8678
  11. Game often crashes when switching servers. When this happens, the server does not register you as offline for some time, so your ship continues to sail. Likely into storms and into SoTDs while you're not even online anymore. Crash Report
  12. Rarely receiving the experience buff for 500 seconds after opening a treasure chest. Opened 5 chests today and only received the experience buff once.
  13. Added: 1. Levers On Ships 13. More Structures on Galleons @Vostik 14. Knots @mKHammerBro 15. Look-Out / Telescope @Aristocrates Please remember to be upvoting this post if you like anything you see. Thank you!
  14. Paste is made in a mortar and pestle with fiber and sap. Sap grows on the thin, red trees in Tundras.
  15. 35 Metal and 40 Stone for a Stone Foundation where there is no metal visible on 95% of stone structures? How does this make ANY sense? Remove, or reduce the metal cost of stone structures. This is ridiculous.
  16. I have this exact problem with the back of my Brig. My tames are always getting stuck in the cracks as well. I have the sides within inches now, but the back of the Brig always has a few feet that I cannot seem to fill.
  17. Make sure you guys are upvoting the original post. So the devs see it.
  18. I meant the general SoTDs. But at the same time, yes. It's frequent in tropical zones.
  19. Back to the point, ships are just as susceptible to the accelerated decay timer in PvE as they are in PvP. I don't agree that ships should be protected from PvP in Freeports because people would attack someone then run to a Freeport. That's dumb. We're not talking about protection. We're not talking about PvP. We're talking about delaying the accelerated decay timer on ships. Even if you got in as fast as possible, anchored near town, did your business as fast as possible, and then sailed out as fast as possible, you're looking at roughly 1,000 damage to your ship's hull planks by the time you're out of the Freeport zone. Not everybody carries 1k of each resource to repair this kind of damage on ALL planks, much less have the resources to continue doing so when you leave the Freeport Region and get stuck in a rainstorm, fog, and ghost ships at the same time.
  20. Player Shops NPC Crewmates Cosmetics New Players Meet/Hire Player Crewmates Resources All of the above are reasons why the Accelerated Ship Decay should be delayed in Freeport Regions. From the moment you enter a Freeport Region, your ship begins to take a percent amount of damage every 10 or so minutes. My Brig was at full HP on all planks before entering the Freeport Region. By the time I made it to the Freeport island and anchored, my Brig had taken 400 points of damage on ALL hull planks. If players are going to be going to Freeport regions more often to buy and sell items and Player Shops, buy cosmetics for their ships, hire crew members and meet new players... they should not be forced to leave the Freeport region ASAP. The accelerated ship decay should START roughly an hour or two after entering a Freeport Region. That being said... I understand why there is Accelerated Ship Decay in Freeport Regions. This is to reduce lag and reduce clutter in these Freeport Regions. Players should not be clogging the place up with ships and campfires and bodies lying around everywhere, like we saw on Day 1. But if we are to be visiting Freeport towns more often because of the new content coming, like player shops... we should not be immediately penalized for entering these regions. Alternatively... @Argh! Pay mooring fees to anchor in a Freeport... an hourly (gold) rate allows for (an amount of time) in the Freeport. If you need to stay overnight due to unforeseen circumstance you will not return to a scuttled ship as long as you either prepay the "Dock Purser" or have the funds in a resource box on your ship -- Also limit this to any ship above the Ramshackle Sloop...
