  1. Oars would be nice, spending stamina to get thro and even raft players could use that. It helps with dead locks of stupid slow turning wind so no longer being stuck for half day in 1 location...however propably still will have to turn arround in all directions where the wind is just to dodge those stupids SoDs everywhere so that 30% does barely anything. That said, the bonus could be rather included to that locked out tarot tree, like some prophecing/magic mini-game which gives sailing bonus to surrounding ships by few % and some time.
  2. So the update is here and spoilers!, the flag already counted to -37k seconds and still counting, the "fix" fixed nothing and surely that guy won't remove his flag just to fix it.
  3. - Reduced min damage and min percentage on flame arrow buff by 33%. There is still this but as long as flames will deal % dmg, unless they reduce directly that % dmg they will always be usefull against alphas... also they reduced the cost of fire gell by 100%... so guess they don't need sap anymore or something?
  4. Yes, any of those sea floating flags are sea claims, guess they just gonna poof and as for infrastructure... who knows, perhaps it will start decaying as if it was a lawless territory.

Didn't meet chineese here in this game but beliving for the word as there's so many showing how they behave and also seen them in action in different games, asians are just a huge annoyance, dunno what's wiht their culture that considers cheating and trolling fair and fun. Also they have high ping, some normal asians even ask for their own server, having high ping is annoying for both parties, especialy in pvp where it causes teleporting all over the place and hitboxes being off.
  6. Depends how many points they give per level. But doesn't nerfing bows and indirectly buffing pistols by making them aviaible quicker make them as useless as some of other skill trees?
  7. Try using this -lowmemorymode Go library in steam, right click game and go into properties, there is button "set launch options", click that and paste this command in, it should help.
  8. - Reduced max damage done on flame arrow projectile hit to 50. Wait, wrong, it actualy says the fire arrows will do max 50 dmg (guess that's a hit not the flames tho?). Also no longer it says about just "projectiles" so guess Jat edited it after seeing confusion?, so guess the bow is still... kind of usefull?, just prepare to fix it all the time since 40 shots is realy not that many but guess the damage stays... hope so.

Depends, fire arrows gonna be nerfed but never used them so not sure, they didn't say they changed the way they deal damage so still should be rather good against alpha animals which have tons of hp, however the stone arrows and durability loss on bows..., from what understand, stone arrows will do max 50 dmg, even on headshot which means it will take 7-8 shots to kill a wolf while always headshoting insteed of 3-4 which is already alot considering a wolf can shred anyone in like 4 hits without very high fortitude and equlibrium buff.... So from self, if the change will be realy max 50 dmg per arrow, go straight for pistols or go back to javelins (unless javelins also will be changed to deal max 50 dmg per throw then they are even more useless than they are now). Also hf dying untill will get the flintlock as untill then, thou wilt have nothing to defend self from predators, especialy the faster than player ones as they didn't nerf animals at all.
  10. That 30% still won't save from a SoD... that's more of a help with not being stationary for few hours without a way back home, this change atleas give atleast some basic movement. However... won't it mean that handling sails are now useless vs the speed sails?
  11. That can't use the free spawn point on that lawless island and will have to spawn on bed that is placed on raft/any other ship or will have to swim back there from a freeport.
  12. If only knew a friendly server that doesn't have only 10 players online at a time and doesn't make resources 100x gathering. If will ever make/find a server that is resonable and have fixed/changes that should be already on official let us know.

Sailing on a raft and taking adventage of wind made us feel skilled... however it was so exhausting to not have handling sail that can go against the wind and since the winds change so slowly (like they rotate clockwise 2 times per 24 hours) it meant that sailing somewhere and missing a wind or being forced to change direction bcs of SoDs caused stales up to half day of doing nothing but waiting for stupid wind to go in the right direction...

Not sure if arrows are weak (didn't have the game at launch) but just FYI, they are nerfing it, each arrow shot will remove 1 durability, bow will have now 40 insteed of 50 dura and it will do max 50 dmg per stone arrow hard cap or something like that so prepare to have nothing to fight with against animals untill flintlocks.
  15. Jat is addind 50 more levels and more skill points per level, that's nice but wanted to ask, should we refund points before the update goes live or we gonna get the correct amount of skill points when refunding after the patch goes live?
  16. Projectiles also can mean something like arrows and thrown javelins... but then how are ppl that did not reach flintlocks defend themselves from bs animals.
  17. Goes into negative forever. Great, so not only is bugged, that prick also grabbed the land just before the fix that devs announced so just wait for that guy to make taxation on that area where literaly having all resources that need which are boulders, trees and berries..., maybe after fix it will be reclaimable... hope so.
  18. Why stop on just the fur from wolves? with the numbers that have to deal all the time, an armor made straight from everything wolf is made of would even work.
  19. Never fought crocs, maybe they have some high armor... try fire arrows, they deal % dmg, or maybe just didn't hit their head too?
  20. Snakes are a joke compared to wolves, they poison but just have fortitude high and mainly, they are slightly slower than a player, wolf is much much faster than a player + they have insane attack speed and knockback but agree, predators make exploring islands something that don't want ever do.
  21. Would be nice if the alpha version of a horse did not attack innocent players. Even standing next to a horse scares them which also causes agro of an alpha horse, seen a wolf running fast for piece of thy ass?, watch no further as this horse is faster than sonic the hedgehog and will cross the screen in max 2-3 seconds without water.
  22. Rather server if anything, this game realy have some performance problems.
  23. Lvl 1-10 wolf/cow did not get headshot bonus for hitting their heads, then killed next wolf with a headshot, just seems their hitboxes suck.
  24. Nvm, just hit a wolf head for 315 dmg..., wonder why didn't before, must have wonky hitbox.
  25. Yeah, predators are busted, atleast some of them (the cat and canine predators, rest are too slow but can be still a huge annoyance in packs or when camping/glitching thro walls).
