I think of EA as POST beta as that was how things were done before this current decade... EA was a way to entice the magazines to write reviews and create buzz before the public release. I know the Definition of EA has changed and I walked into this game knowing full well what I would find. Unfortunately some companies seem to think PUBG and Fortnite were the norm as far as EA goes. but remember 7 Days to Die? A good game but 7 years and it's STILL EA.

Look into an appeal. One guy who got banned and posted here did just that and was reminded of a history of the behavior that got him banned. Perhaps an appeal, if the logs show you to be innocent will get your ban reversed?

Try having a lvl 165 Drake hovering just above the surface behind you (not aggroed) and a SotD squad pop up in front of you with one ship so close you can't avoid ramming it in the bow with your sloop... SotD fires, misses you and hits the innocent Drake. Guess what happened to the monkey in the middle?

Localization means to modify the game for specific areas. This means things like: 1) Language Translation. This might include in-game written signs, any vocal narration, etc. 2) Forum translations. 3) Some countries have laws regarding the amount of gore in visuals. In some places the amount of blood is decreased, in others blood is changed from Red to Green. This would be part of 'Localization' There is an area on the homepage somewhere asking for volunteers to assist with localization. You might find more info there,

IMO, the thing to do in that situation is find a way to use up all their resources that you can, until someone decides you're too expensive to keep. I expect Skill Trees/Points to be overhauled several times during EA. There should almost certainly be more specialty trees, since "Magic" is expected to be a part of the game.

I've punched fish, in one of the Freeports with shallow water. I got meat and fish oil. With current decay rates the fish oil was the better reward.

Judging from the people having issues with BattlEye booting them due to "Client timeout" issue I would imagine the ping solution could be tweaked enough to be effective.

Jat also posts a lot to Twitter and other social media... This morning he posted on Twitter that there may be a fix for the Windows Insider/BattlEye issue by weeks' end.

This is definitely a solo game... Just think of it as "Hardcore Mode"

Two words: Buffalo excrement. MMO DOES NOT preclude solo play. Perhaps some of us like to learn the game before screwing up in a group. Heck, I've already posted today that I love running Highest Difficulty content with a properly built and equipped solo character that takes a group of 6 characters at the same level to complete at medium difficulty. It makes me feel... Superior.

Another possibility is to add users making posts that offend you to your "ignored" list... You may not get any useful posts after that but what you DO see won't offend you.

You're going to lose it sooner or later, given my experience with EA software and server wipes...
