Hello Xbox Players and welcome to the Atlas, i am Zottel from the Company Fairy Tail on EU PVE and i will try to answer some frequently asked questions about Atlas, and will also respond if you have other questions. - How to get Gold? There are many way to earn Gold but i will list the most common ones for you. - Shipwrecks: You can find procederly generated Shipwreck which contain gold and food etc. I recommend using a Diving Platform on your Ship to loot these. - Whaling: While PETA wont like this method,it is still an easy way to kill the monstrous Sperm and Bluewhale in order to get some Gold. The easiest way would be using a Schooner with 3 Ballistas on the back manned by NPC crew. -Treasure Maps: Treasure maps are awesome and bring loads of Gold,but you first need to find those glowing bottles on shores and beaches. As the common ones are quite easy i´d recommend doing those at the start,while Journyman and higher require you to have atleast a good tame you shouldn´t try those without atleast a decent Bear. Where do i build? This question will define how and where to settle and should be choosen wisely and considering what suits your playstyle at most. Own an Island: Sure owning an Island sounds great, but you need to pay an upkeep every 12 Hours and if not payed you will lose your island. While you can generate Taxes from Tennants and also stretch the payment period up to every 19 Hours, Tennants are a good start and will help you alot if you both Co-exist. Be aware of the fact that the 20% Tax are additive and your Tennant will still get 100% of what he farms, while you get additional 20% into your Flag/TaxBank. You can demolish stuff build on your Island within 24 Hours,after that you need to wait about 30 days till the decay timer destroys it. Lawless islands: As the name suggest, there are no existing laws. It has a rather fast spawning resources but you will also need to deal with neighboors and if unlucky end in a Foundation spam War,as this will be the only way to secure Land there. Living as a Settler: If you dont mind living for free on someone elses island,this will be your choice. Be aware of the Fact that the Landlord still can demolish your structures within 24 Hours after beeing build. But if you communicate with the Landlord you will most likely find a nice place and friendly people to get started with. Tames: To Tame a creature you will first need to learn taming ( Tier1 Tier 2 Tier3 ) to tame the creature of your choice. First prepare some Bolas and bow and Arrows, then find the creature to tame and dmg it till ~20% HP and you are able to use the Bola on it. Now feed them their preferred food till the Bola runs out and you need to dmg it again. i would recommend to wear Plate Armor and use a taming pen,as those will make the whole process alot easier. Seeds?: In Atlas you can get many different kinds of Veggies which you need to tame Creatures or for cooking some delicious pirate food. You will find those seeds by collecting the "wild" version of it and need to plant them with some poop in a crop plot. Be aware of the fact that it needs to be watered, fertilized and be in the right biome as you cant grow all Crops in all regions. How to sell or buy stuff: Most Blueprints item,etc. will be sold via a Discord server. But you will also be able to set up or find Playershops on Islands where you can buy or sell your goods. Ships and level: The level of ships is defined by the quality/ durability of the shipyard you use for the shipsceleton. For common shipyards the max. level of a ship is 42. If you do treasure maps and find better shipyards with high durability you can raise the max. level up to 52. From 100 ~120% durability your ship will still be max. level 42, but every full 10% more durability will bring you one more level to your max. level ships. Max level of tames: The max. wild level of tames is 30. If you dont loose any taming affinity and use the prefered food you can get them up to level 44 after taming. Bred tames can have a way higher level at birth if the stats are combined and im not sure where the limit is, but the highest we had was 120 after birth. The max. Level a tame can reach is defined by its wild level ( level after its been tamed ) x2 +30. Basic Start would be Getting a ramshackle sloop And Diving attachment for some easy Gold. Then you Want a small base,which comes down to what you Prefer. Own Island cost Gold Daily for the upkeep, Building on a taxed Island is free And on PVE you still get 100% of what you farm,the landlord just gets 20% extra. Or lawless where you Dont have a landlord,but might deal with foundation spam or neighbor wars. Then Build small base And a better ship And get Yourself some seeds to tame the harvester animals. Would Start with bear to have it easier in the beginning.

Kann das Bild leider Grade nicht sehen,aber wenns ne ramshackle sloop is kommen die wohl eher weniger wieder. Aber selbst wenn du nen Ticket schreibst wird nur das Schiff verschwinden,wenn man sieht das es keine Absicht war dich zu blocken^^

Im Notfall ein Ticket aufmachen,damit sich ein Admin drum kümmern kann wenn dein Schiff dadurch geblockt wird.

You can set the tax to 20% as everything your tennants Farm will be the Same but the tax you get is additive so tennants still get the full 100% of what they farm. Gold is taxed,thats why you randomly get Gold Into the Bank. People will still do the Maps even if you tax 20%. Easy way to get Gold is shipwrecks And use a Diving Platform. Also a schooner And 3 ballistas on the back And whalehunting gives Good Gold. Most Gold You get will be from treasure Maps. The lower ones are easy And for the higher ones you Want a bear.

Yeah thats the Price Microsoft made. But there have always been difference in prices between all platforms And stores. Still remember that a store had F.E.A.R 3 for 30€ And right next to it the Trilogy for 20€ XD

Might add that After People placed stuff you have 24h Time And new structures will Start having a new 24h remove window. And if someone really Blocks Ressources etc And you remove their stuff And Start Spamming just contact an Admin as those usually come within 24h And deal with the Spamming. But lost of the Time a quick Chat with settlers saves alot of Time And stress.

Then you would Need to increase base Crew of Other ships aswell

The higher the points on an Island the more islandpoints You Need to claim it And More Gold to Pay for the upkeep. The numbers are defined by resources And tames those Islands have aswell as where its located. The lawless Grids only have those numbers so that the silo works there atm.

We Tried breeding elephants today in B10 which is tropical,but we get the Message "undesireable biom" .

Sotd Fights while Storm is awesome especially if you use a broadsider And no Boring backloader.

Need a bit More Details does it Show Servers? Does it Start loading And it wont stop loading? If it Hangs while loading whats in the lower left corner? And how are you joining, join new Server or rejoin Server if you already made a Charakter?

Plenty stuff you cant grow at all,like berries or celery Needs to be Farmed,Which Leads you around the World to be able to Cook

you Dont get seeds for everything. Potatoes Beets cactus Rice beans carrots turnips Chili greens wheat And Pepper Give seeds. May miss a few tho but those are the Important ones

Thats definitly Not intended,they only spawn random on golden Age servers. Which Server And Island Are you ? I suggest to put it in the bug Report Thread so @Jatheish can have a Look at it

The Limit is only in a rather small Radius of 33,4 foundations. So you can still build Big Citys but no Super Giant buildings in that radius anymore. But most buildings wont reach the Limit anyway. But its still good to Not Stack foundations And make the inside hollow which easlily saves a Couple 100 structures depending on what you build.

Still a huge difference between how you generalized your opinion to everyone while i said it for myself. But i have no Intention to discuss this topic And further with you. Its like playing Chess with a pidgeon, now matter how intelligent you are, the pidgeon will throw the Figuren And shit on the Board before flying away

Except that i told I AM still having Fun,while you said it Generally that atlas in only fun in moderate Dosis. Sure Other Players can Dislike the Game while i enjoy it,Never Said it would Not be the Case.

Only because you Dont have fun playing doesnt mean others cant enjoy it. Still playing Daily And having alot of fun.

If you go into the Menu And on atlas you can toggle follow Charakter. This will Center the map And if you toggle it off you should be able to freely move the map up And down as you like. Just the A And O And the 1 And 15 regions are weird sometimes

Saw alot People on our discord have it every now And then. Stuff that fixed it was Either graphic Card update or direct x reinstall or Download Older versions of C++. Also Check Memory usage of your RAM while playing And if its Getting close to 100%, in that case disable sub surface Scattering And los Level streaming in options.

As it is early Access You arent a tester if you Dont choose to be One imo. But i myself choose to be One And Testing every aspect of the Game And Give Feedback to the devs And Report Bugs when i find them. But no matter how you turn it, joining Forums just to poste the Game is shit And Not giving Any critics you may have is plain stuipid And helps no One.
