  1. I'm sure there are lot's of reports for spawns of maps being bugged a lot of the time and sunken treasure ships being meshed into the ground, so I don't understand why there hasn't even been attempts to fix these issues that are so frustrating. The time it takes to sail for a decent map and you can't even do them... I also understand sunken treasure ships are fairly new compared to the maps mechanic so maybe that will take time to fix as well. Suggestion for fixing sunken ships would be instead of needing to loot the chest, let us just loot the whole ship. Get in range of the ship, press E and loot it for credit. It doesn't let us explore the ship itself but seen one seen them all really, I rather be able to get it without wasting my time due to a bug. Suggestion for fixing maps would be to redo the map spawns honestly, have them spawn on shorelines of islands which I sure would take longer but it sure would help fix spawns going into cliffs. These maps on mountains are 100% a waste of your time. Also maybe detect if a player base is built around the map it can try to spawn some yards away from it. Hopefully these reports come of something, devs don't say much these days regarding coming fixes or whatever so its kinda ruins the morale of trying to hold out for the game and keeping the crew together.   2. I thought this game was going to be more focused on pirate ship pvp and not Ark with boats. Highly disappointed with all the combat tames that ruin raiding and ground pvp. Remove all the combat tames and only have farming tames.
  3. The brig has 6 possible gunports on each side of the ship, so that's 12 already and you want 3 for your sails which is now at 15. Then you need space for yourself as the captain which puts you at the max of 16. I think a decent brig wants at least 3-4 active players on it as well for using swivel guns, repairing and fighting players from boarding your ship in attempts to keg it. This is just if you want to make a basic brig with what the game allows you to do with the available gun ports and sails.
  4. Does anyone else think the base crew size of 16 for a brig is pretty low and doesn't seem to scale correctly compared to the size of the ships? To start the brig is at least 2x the size of a schooner almost 3x but its base crew is only 2 more than a schooner which is at 14!? The Gally's base crew is something 50+ I don't have the number at the top of my head, but that makes sense because the ship is massive. But going from 3, 14, 16 to 50+.....uh what? I haven't seen threads or concerns about the base crew size of the brig, so I just wanted to get the conversation started at least and hope for some quality of life changes to the brig for crew size. I think everyone is going to have different opinions on this matter regarding balance and meta etc..so I am curious to see what the community thinks. My personal suggestion for a base crew increase for a brig would be to 22 or 24, I think 22 would be a good start. But I believe at least 24 would be ideal.
  5. I HATE the structure spam in lawless, I don't mind the claim system. I just don't think the sea claims add any worth to it other than spamming them all over the place for top 10. I would much rather top 10 be based off some type of pvp point system, amount of damage dealt, ships sunk. Something other than spamming flags down lol..
  6. What you aren't considering, is the amount of griefers who come near your base to drop claim flags, firebomb or keg your harbor ships. You wonder why a lot of AI are set to shoot first ask questions later, its because of those reasons. People want to protect what is theirs.
  7. I would honestly like to see the sea claims removed and only have land claims.
  8. I can live with the changes, but for big balance changes like this they should of done a full wipe for it to take effect. All it did was help mega tribes with all this already built and screwed new players over or small companies who have been offline raided and wiped.
  9. I've noticed in the tundra and polar tiles the ghostships spawns are insane... Even the wild animal spawns are way too high, has anyone else tried diving for shipwrecks? You get surrounded by 10's of aggressive sea creatures and you just can't do anything, as soon as you touch the water and start diving down it starts spawning everything near you to come kill you. You can try to pull everything up and kill it, but as soon as you start going back down it spawns everything again. Anyone got tips on diving and dealing with the sea creatures?
  10. This is from a few patch notes ago. Then they also did another 20%, at one point we had 5 ghost ships around us. - Reduced Army of the Damned ships spawn rate by 60%

You can't even do a resource runs properly because of the limited weight, once you have a few replacement parts and 1 stack of materials to repair minus a stack of metal because that is too heavy. You don't have a lot of room to put extra resources on from other islands, if you get weighted down with all the AI ships you are done.
  12. This is by far the worst pve balance I've ever seen in a game, were on a brig. We get screwed over by calm wind, the Ships of the Damned are not affected by the wind so you can't out run them and the base weight of ships are garbage so you can't carry enough repair supplies and not be over weight and slow. Then at the same time you have MASSIVE aggro range of a whale that is even faster than ship of the damned and destroy 10-14 planks in 1 hit. So many AI ships still spawn it's insane, do you play your own game!? 5-7 ships all around you like what the hell, limit the amount of ships per tile already.
  13. Yeah honestly, a big complaint for me about the game with the ships is the weight. I think the weight is honestly a joke and you are correct. By the time you put your must have resources to repair and some ammo you don't get a lot left for resource runs. I would like them to increase the weight of all ships by 50% to start at least, this would at least promote trade runs etc. But with a weight increase should come with a cannon limit on ships as well, if that is the concern.
  14. Why does this game have massive wolves, crocs and snakes like they are dinosaurs, I thought we were playing a pirate game not Ark and the focus should be on ships no? They are also way too strong like we should be fighting them on tamed dinos and not on foot with our bows. The spawn rates are also way too high on the islands they should be reduced by at least 50%. The worst of it all, is when the crocs come up to your schooner and eat all your NPC crew members that are 6 feet above the water and killing the crew inside the ship on the bottom deck. I don't know why they decided to make these things so big and able to do this.
